The place is very cozy and the food was good. It is advised to book a table though as not doing so could lead to a long waiting time. Have been here for a few times now and the staff has been consistent with their friendliness and competence. Definitely worth visiting :)

I visited Telegraph Café during my time in Vienna and really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. I tried the Eggs Benedict and pancakes — the Eggs Benedict were especially delicious! Perfectly poached eggs, great hollandaise, and everything was well-balanced. The café has a cozy vibe and friendly service. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a great breakfast or brunch spot in the city!

Lukewarm coffe and old muffins.. Our experience was very underwhelming. We were served lukewarm coffees, like they were forgotten on the counter. After complaining, they switched one drink for an iced one. Like what? After complaining to a different waiter, we finally waited for hot drinks. Then my Eggs Hemingway came. Perfect poached egg, but served on an old hard muffin, that I even struggled to cut through with the knife. Letting the waiter know about it, he just said to tell the kitchen. He had no problem to charge full 16.5€ for a clearly failed dish. A high price in the first place. And no intent for any compensation. There's potential here, but the experience today was really bad. I would not come back.

I don’t give 5 stars. This cafe is incredible. We tried two of their egg dishes and two sweet dishes. We also ordered a few Mélanges which were out of this world. The huevos rancheros are not like the typical American dishes but delicious. The pancakes were fluffy, smeared in Nutella instead of a traditional accompaniment of butter and maple syrup. I prefer my Palatschinken with Nutella or chocolate sauce so this was a disappointment. Portion sizes are just perfect. Service was not super fast but we didn’t mind. The waitperson was very kind and attentive. I would recommend this place.

The coffee was great, however, I was very disappointed with their version of shakshuka, which had only one egg, and the rest was just tomato purée. The staff suddenly decided to take a coffee break and went out for a smoke, leaving the counter unattended. I had to look for them outside to pay for my meal.

Tried the espresso tonic, it was really nice! The food on the other hand was bad. Extremely salty and the sauce had a weird consistency. When the waitress asked us about the food, and we said that is way too salty, she said: hehe, I like my food with more salt… well, good for you. I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️

The staff was very nice and friendly. Although we didn’t have the reservation and it was overcrowded they found a spot for us (The reservation is needed!) The coffee was really very very good. I ordered avocado sandwiches and they needed more salt, the bread was a bit dry. The cakes are delicious.

Wanted to check out Café Telegraph for quite a while with all the great stuff I kept hearing. Only went for coffee. The decor was okayish, could've been more theme driven with the name. I enjoyed my Salted Caramel Latte. The Dark hot chocolate that my partner had was pretty okayish. The food menu looked interesting but that plus the pastry menu barely had vegan options to offer, really limiting our choices.

Yelp
This place has been on my radar since their grand opening. Glad to have finally had the chance to visit last week for a lovely catch-up brunch with one of my girlfriends. It is so easy to access from the U-Bahn Schottentor Station or the University. Perhaps because it was a weekday brunch, we didn't have a hard time securing a table. I would recommend you reserve a spot if you wish to dine here on a weekend, however. Menus are available in English and German and the service was fast and friendly! Hopefully it stays that way! Their menu is amazing and affordable. Also need to mention how delectable each and every pastry they had on their display case! My friend and I could not resist ordering eclairs for both of us on top of our actual meals. I decided to get the Syrniki (Ukrainian pancakes) because I wanted to try something new. Plus, it sounded amazing -- pancakes with a twist which tasted sweet and savoury at the same time due to the cottage cheese. They are served topped with pomegranate seeds and pears and with a side of their homemade marmalade and sour cream. So fluffy and so, so irresistible. Aside from pancakes, they also serve omelettes, egg benedicts, acai bowls, sandwiches, and more typical brunch fare! I love the wide variety of food items on their menu. As for the eclairs, we chose pistachio and chocolate; both were hands down perfection and oozing with creamy filling. One of the best eclairs I've had in my life thus far. The interior is lovely and a nice homage to Vienna. Tiles were also swoon-worthy. Their coffee latte art could most definitely benefit from improvement though but all in all, I wouldn't think twice about coming here again!

Yelp
Just the best eclairs and coffee in the City ! Very cozy and friendly atmosphere. Everytime a good service. Modern, interesting cousine with an individuality. Very healthy and vegetarian friendly! I highly recommend !

Yelp
Nice ambiance for brunch, if somewhat busy. I probably ordered the wrong thing in the omelette--it was nothing special or remarkable. But the Ukrainian Syrniki pancakes were simply incredible and worth the visit alone. They were filled with a sort of sour-cream filling and served with pomegranates and other fruit.

Yelp
I reserved a spot outside for 4 of us which I highly recommend you do if you want to dine there. They were turning people away who happened upon that spot and wanted to eat there. After we were seated they were quick in asking what we wanted to drink but they kept forgetting to bring them out (I should clarify they forgot 3 times). So that was sort of frustrating. But the food came out quickly! I had heard the cafe was cute (and it is) but they were slow on getting your food to you. But for the four of us, the two avocado toasts, the pancakes, and Mediterranean omelette was quick to come out! I think it was the fastest I had ever been served breakfast. I had the omelette which was really good! And none of my other companions had any complaints about their food; it was all delicious. I definitely recommend this spot but only as long as it's accompanied with reservations. ;)

Yelp
Cafe Telegraph completely wowed me! I tried the Açai Bowl and the Avocado&Egg Toast and I could've bathed in those two "early day meals". The Açai Bowl was a bit smaller than anticipated, but it tasted awesome. The Avo&Egg Toast was the best I've ever had in my life Go there if you're searching for a cute, trendy place to eat and hang out. Very customer friendly. I'd go there again if I'm ever in Vienna again!

Yelp
great pancakes !!! loved it, so much food and great cold brew !! (it's usually so bitter and heavy, and it was strong but nice! would recommend!)

Yelp
I initially came here for the eclairs, but I keep coming back because of their amazing breakfast menu and incredible service. No matter how busy it is, the servers are kind, quick, and helpful. The menu is very vegetarian friendly and the coffee is fantastic. Easily one of my favorite places in Vienna

Yelp
My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and I was so excited because I'd heard rave reviews and I LOVE Eggs Benedict. The morning started off rocky as someone had stolen our reserved table by removing the reserved sign. The waitress pointed out the table that was meant to be ours and then my bf ended up having to nicely ask the couple to give us back our table which was an awkward situation. We then ordered two iced coffees and two benedicts. Coffees were excellent hence the two star rating. However only my boyfriend's benedict was served. After 5 minutes I got up and found the waitress. She shrugged and said they were busy but at least we could share my bf's breakfast til the other arrived (an explanation she gave us as she set two benedicts in front of another couple). Finally after 20 minutes from the time they served my bf's breakfast, mine arrived. The waitress told us they'd ran out of the normal bread so they'd substituted something else. That bread was hard and inedible. Both eggs were hard in the middle and not poached. The hollandaise was separated. When we told the waitress she sighed and said it's really busy on weekends so that's how it is. She also admitted the substitute bread was old and hard but that's all they had left. Then she still charged us for both breakfasts, although she did bring a second free iced coffee as a half apology. I try to be understanding of stressful situations; however I think there are a few things that shouldn't be compromised on: When I go to breakfast on any day (not just my bday), I want my food to be served at the same time as my boyfriend. I don't want him to have to give me his breakfast or for us to eat alone 20 min apart. I want my eggs to be poached, not hard. And I want the bread to be what I ordered. If it's too busy and a particular meal can't be served well, then I'd like to be informed so I can order something else or go somewhere else. Having stale or old food leave the kitchen is unacceptable no matter how busy a restaurant is. I pray that this is a one off bad experience but it was horrific enough that we will never be back.

Yelp
It was delicious! It was everything I expected, and soo picture worthy. They serve breakfast until 3 pm, which is perfect for people who love to sleep inn. The waiters were really nice and helpful. The cafe has an english and german menu. I had the avo toast and a cappuccino. My mom just wanted strawberries and the waiter said it was ok so they were flexible with the menu I really recommend this cafe. I am not sure if they have non-breakfast type of food, they have a wine tho.

Yelp
The interior is modern, the first treats you see are beautifully crafted eclairs and some New York cheese cake. The variety of breakfasts is what got me to want to go there. It has something for everyone.

Yelp
I was so excited to try this place, I even went across town to try to have lunch here with a friend today and sadly, I was really disappointed. My friend and I sat there for thirty minutes and waited for the waitress to come up to us to get our drink orders. We saw two of the waitresses multiple times and though we tried to get their attention, they just simply ignored us. The place was slightly busy, but it should not take that long to have a waitress acknowledge you and ask what you want to drink. I even went up to the bar and asked if I can order at the bar and was told no because the place offers table service. After waiting a couple more minutes, my friend and I got up and left. Look, I know that Vienna is not known for good service. But this was bad even by Vienna standards. I lived here for a year and a half and this is the first time that I left a place without ordering. There are so many cute cafes around this area that have way better service that I really think this place is just not worth wasting your time at.

Yelp
So-so omelet but fantastic eclair. I was pleasantly surprised with the good service I received (after reading earlier reviews), but perhaps it was in part because I was there on a Monday, mid-morning. I had my choice of seats in this lovely, clean café with a really nice ambiance & fun wall decorations. Service was prompt. My veggie omelet was just okay - a little flat (overcooked) and greasy, but chock full of veggies. And pricey (8 Euros) considering it came with no toast or other sides. So I ordered a croissant, too; it was warm and fabulous. I also had a soy latte, which was mediocre. As I left, I perused the pastries and couldn't resist buying a chocolate eclair to go. Wow. IT is fantastic. They had about 5 flavors & the employee told me they always have 1 new flavor to try. So go for that if nothing else!

Yelp
I waited for more than half an hour for "menu of the day". This is surprisingly long and the food is way too overpriced in my opinion (small bowl of asparagus soup and half a table spoon ramsons pesto-really, not more than that for the whole plate of spaghetti-with 3 grilled asparagus: 8.9€ for a taste of only noodle).....
