Where to Eat, Stay, and Ski in Park City, Utah’s Wintry Crown Jewel | Vogue

"“If that brisk mountain air just makes you want to carb-load, then Cafe Terigo—a quaint Italian spot on Main Street—is just the place to do it.” Menu highlights include the house-made ricotta cheese, as well as the half-pound Wagyu cheeseburger." - Nicole Kliest

Some of the best bolognese I’ve had in Utah. Their pasta tastes homemade! Great spot for picky eaters and they have some more adventurous things, too. Highly recommend this little gem!

Google
Great service for our large party! Many of us were disabled and the service was respectful and wonderful. Lots of food options for our dietary restrictions. I’m vegetarian and I had the vegetarian lasagna, which was quite filling. The ambiance for lunch was bright and welcoming. Thank you, Café Terigo!

We stopped by Café Terigo for a little treat, and everything was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and well-balanced—every bite felt like a small indulgence. The customer service was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was beautiful, with a cozy yet elegant vibe that made the experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're looking for a relaxing spot to unwind or just want something tasty and satisfying, Café Terigo is definitely worth a visit. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful chic atmosphere with interesting and funny quotes on the walls. The servers are genuinely nice, knowledgeable about their food and the wine. The lamb chops were the best I had in town. Far better than some other swanky places nearby. We sat at the best table in the house upstairs near the back overlooking the patio. I’ll make sure that I go here every time I visit Park city

Google
This little restaurant is on Main Street in Park City. It’s got an adorable little bar at the entrance of the house. The outdoor seating was quaint, especially with the little white lights all lit up in the darkness of the night. The food was fresh and delicious. The calamari was perfectly seasoned and fried. The chicken parmigiana was tasty. The portions are on the smaller side but definitely yummy. The hostess was super sweet and accommodated us when we didn’t have a reservation, even during Sundance Film Festival.

Google
Food, service, and atmosphere are on point! We loved the trout and they make their pasta and ricotta in house. The bolognese was delicious. The Italian wine selections on the menu were great, too. Definitely recommend reservations well in advance.

Tracey S.

Google
Nice little restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Service was great and food was also good. We had the ricotta to start based on other reviews. It was very good, however the pesto sauce was even better. Highly recommend! For our main lunch meal we had the chicken risotto and the shrimp & artichoke pizza. The risotto was amazing and had lots of chicken. The pizza was tasty however I wasn’t a fan of the crust which is too bad cuz it would have been amazing with a homemade crust.

Google
Someone at the high-end retailer, Gorsuch, recommended Cafe Terigo as one of their favorite restaurants in Park city. The restaurant did not disappoint. The food was quite good and I particularly enjoyed the risotto chicken.

Yelp
I don't think there's a bad seat in the house, but the patio on a nice Park City summer day. We enjoyed the patio which is in a small pedestrian alley and helps the Italian ambiance. The scallops were so creamy with perfectly cooked risotto that wasn't too salty. The bolognese wasn't my favorite but my husband liked it; the noodles were the highlight of the dish IMO. My son liked the burger but the bun did arrive a little soggy so he didn't put it down, he just kept eating; my guess is they prepared the burger before the other items so the juices from the meat and the sauce on the burger infiltrated the bun.

Yelp
Adorable romantic restaurant in Park City with moderate prices for delicious and creative dishes. We got the scallop risotto and salmon ravioli and ate both dishes in 5 minutes because they were that good. The outdoor seating is great in the summer. Attentive waiters and quick service made our experience very simple and enjoyable. My only note is that I wish they gave free bread as an appetizer as most Italian restaurants do.

Yelp
Have been to Park City many times but had never been here to eat. We stopped on a Saturday afternoon, sat outside and it was lovely. We ordered the artichoke, Italian salad, chicken Parmesan sandwich and a margarita pizza and shared all of between 3 of us. Definitely more than enough food and all of it was delicious! Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. I already plan on coming back next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Service is exceptional and the food is excellent. You must try the homemade ricotta. We sat outside and it was perfect. They also had a white Sangria that was very good and the mocktails were also tasty. The duck confit salad was one of the best I've had and I'm still thinking about it. A must try.

Yelp
Enjoyed lunch while visiting Park City. We started with the crispy calamari which was delicious! For lunch we enjoyed the mixed greens salad with salmon and the chicken risotto. The risotto must be a seasonal entree as I don't see it on the online menu. It was amazing! Creamy risotto with chicken, asparagus and tart dried cherries. Everything blended well together and I appreciated the thin asparagus which is always better than the fat stalks. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the salad was fresh and crisp with a lite dressing. Looks like it's a local fave with a nice patio as well. I look forward to another visit.

Yelp
Luca, our server, is a gem! He muddled fresh strawberries for my daughter to make strawberry lemonade. And he brought fresh lemonade concentrate for our waters to go. He really went out of this way to provide us a lovely lunch. I enjoyed the salmon with greens. The dressing was delicious! The lunch menu was reasonably priced and the food was all-around tasty. Not sure why all the low reviews here. Give them a chance)

Yelp
My husband and I have been dining at Cafe Terigo for more than 25 years. It is a lovely, atmospheric restaurant with a convenient location on Park City's Main Street. The service is consistently stellar and the food never disappoints! When we visit Park City, dining at Terigo is a must.

Yelp
Mediocre, at best. We had enjoyed Cafe Terigo for many years but due to travel changes, haven't eaten there for 3 years. We finally went back last night and I was SO excited to be back. Sadly, I was very disappointed after all the prior great meals we've had there. We arrived early for our reservation (we were starving!) and they happily seated us early. We had to wait 8 - 10 minutes for our server (only a few other diners in entire restaurant) but when she did arrive, she was wonderful. I ordered the smoked chicken alfredo. The description says the meal has basil and pine nuts. There were 5 or 6 SMALL basil slivers and 1 (ONE!) pine nut. The chicken and the pasta were both dry. I was so incredibly disappointed and suspect we won't be going back. Maybe it was just an "off" night for an alfredo dish.... I hope that's just the case.

Yelp
We eat here just about every time we come to Park city from CA. Probably eaten here 20 times now. Our favorite restaurant. Not a little secret anymore. Definitely need reservation. All the food is great. My wife always gets braised beef risotto when it was on the menu. Last weed it was scallop risotto so she asked if sake could substitute chicken for scallops. Sure The problem was they still charged $42 for chicken instead of scallop? Whoa. They should have been maybe $28 for the chicken. We asked the waitress she said it's the same price. Smiled and paid the bill. I do t want to be blackballed from here!!

Yelp
Café Terigo is a romantic Italian restaurant in the heart of Main Street in Park City. STARTER: For an appetizer, we shared the Grilled Artichoke with Cracked Mustard Aioli ($14) which is perfect for two to share because it already comes cut in half. Personally, in addition to squeezing the cooked lemon on top, I recommend using some of the salted butter that comes with the bread for the harder leaves. ENTREE: We came to Café Terigo because the Pan-Seared Scallops on Spring Pea Risotto ($43) was recommend to me by the local I was sitting next to on the plane ride over, and it lived up to the hype. I thoroughly enjoyed the creaminess of the sauce on the risotto and how it paired well with everything on the dish. I felt the accents completed the dish, from pea tendril greens on top to the roasted red bell pepper purée on the base. The five scallops were cooked to perfection, I just wish there were more of them, as is always the case with good scallops. My recommendation is to get a bit of each component of the dish on each bite. SERVICE & ATMOSPHERE: We were luckily able to get a walk-in table on a Saturday night, and everyone from the host to our server was friendly and ready with recommendations. Both the indoor and outdoor seating (and even the restrooms) were thoughtfully done, and for the outdoor seating they had plenty of heaters.

Yelp
Service is horrible. Food is not much better. There are many many better places in PArk City. We will never go here again!

Yelp
Cute spot on Main Street. We were just glad that we scored a few seats on the communal table during the first weekend of the Sundance Fest! Great wine list, and good food! Love the bolognese pappardelle, took a mental note that I would def order the ribeye if/when we are back after a day of skiing!

Yelp
We had an unfortunate reservation cancellation the evening we were expected to have dinner for my bachelorette party so we went across the street to Cafe Terigo hoping to get a seat for dinner. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and the food was incredible. They even brought us some surprise gelato for dessert! I can't thank the servers and management at Cafe Terigo enough for the exceptional dinner experience. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. We would highly recommend!!!

Yelp
Very nice ambiance and setting. Delicious food and drinks. We loved the bolognese pasta and salmon dishes. Great service too!
google avatar

Kyra K.

Yelp
The gist: bad, overpriced food. We ordered the Bolognese, scallops and a kid's plain penne. The portions were tiny. The bolognese: mushy, gummy noodles and very little meat. The scallops: scallops were good. The corn risotto was undercooked with crunchy Arborio. The penne was $20 for about a half cup of plain noodles. Our bill with tip was $140 and we were left hungry.

Yelp
Such a gem in the heart of Park City. Everything was delicious. We started with the grilled artichokes and ended up getting two orders. The house made ricotta was beyond delicious. Entrees were amazing. Home made pasta smoked chicken fettuccine need I say more. Trout and scallops with risotto all were great. We tried the tiramisu and the bread pudding which was definitely the star. Our server Luka was very attentive and the restaurant was packed. Kudos Cafe Terigo. See you next year!

Yelp
The good. Cute little cafe style place in the Main Street . The bad , cute little cafe place that charges like 5 star hotel . Service is average . Food is overpriced and overrated . The scallop risotto was almost $50 buck and tasted funny . Portions are small, no bread basket or anything as side unless you pay.. Too many choices in the area. Will definitely skip if we come back ...
google avatar

Paul Y.

Yelp
Always a pleasure eating here. The food is consistently delicious. But please bring back the risotto.

Melissa M.

Yelp
Es un lugar único y delicioso, la calidad de la comida vale la pena reservar, te atienden en tu idioma, y muy atentos los meseros

Yelp
We had a great experience! The service was very friendly! But the food... the food was so good We got the mini onion rings and they were the best onion rings I've ever had!! The ambiance was also good it had a nice patio with outdoor seating! Definitely will go back in the future!

Carlos S.

Yelp
Elegant shaded patio. Attentive and friendly service. Everything our party of 5 ordered was fresh and perfectly prepared. Looking forward to eating here again.

Yelp
The service was excellent and the restaurant also has a nice outdoor patio area for diners. Unfortunately, my friend and I thought the food could have been better. I ordered the scallops. The presentation was very nice, however, the dish was extremely salty. My friend ordered the chicken and was not impressed. Would we go back? Probably not.

Yelp
Cozy European ambiance on the outdoor patio and delicious handmade pasta. Tables are tight
google avatar

Yelp
The pasta special was excellent. The trout was very disappointing. Just breaded and buttery. The service, drinks and service was excellent. Just don't order the trout.

Yelp
Fabulous "Dine About" menu for Park City locals. Food, service, and decorations were wonderful!
google avatar

Yelp
Thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. As an appetizer, we had the artichoke. For my entree, I had the parmesan crusted chicken breast, and I asked for a side of pesto to put on top of the dish because I love pesto. The food was great. I also had a French 75 cocktail and an espresso martini. This was the first espresso martini I've had, as I recently turned 21, and it was great! The inside of this restaurant is beautiful, and there are really cute quotes etched into the walls. We had a party of 6, and they seated us at a gorgeously decorated table. Our server was fantastic with a great personality! Will return here the next time I'm in Park City, UT!!!

Yelp
Quaint brunch/dinner spot in the heart of Park City Things you should know: I. PARKING Street parking is easy and convenient (if you arrive early enough). There's a parking garage in case you can't find anything available. II. SERVICE Exceptional, but not the most attentive from our experience III. QUALITY We enjoyed seeing that they had homemade ricotta cheese for their lunch since we were heavily craving charcuterie (which the cheese platter was unfortunately only a dinner option). The soup of the day was cozy in contrast to the cold temperatures outside. IV. CAPACITY For 1pm on a Tuesday, we had no wait time. There were a couple available tables.
google avatar

BD A.

Yelp
Lovely place to have brunch/lunch with our group of 5 - we ate outside in the patio which was lovely, but inside looked nice as well. We ordered the bolagnese, chicken sandwich and salmon salad, and everyone was happy with the quality and portion size. Service by Luka was great / so nice to boot! Recommend for a leisurely meal.

Yelp
Honestly the vibes are immaculate. Sitting outside under a heater and lights on the side of park city main street is something you can't get at a lot of places. So that alone is worth stopping at Cafe Terigo. And if I were to do it again I'd honestly just order all the appetizers on the menu and enjoy the environment. The appetizers were better than the meal in my humble opinion. The calamari came out with enough to feed the four of us! The homemade cheese and pesto was the perfect touch on the tongue. The artichoke was just okay, I don't think I'd order that again. The handmade Bolognese was really good but after the appetizers I really just wanted more of those. So overall a great place to eat in PC. Especially since everything on main street is pricy at least with Cafe Terigo you get to enjoy your time while you eat and feel like a VIP.

Yelp
This has been in my top 10 Utah restaurants for years now. Their risotto and their salmon and their desserts are the reason why. I love this place!

Yelp
Best food, service & ambiance in Park City! My wife, kids & I were in Park City for a week and of all of the many restaurants we got to experience in Park City, Deer Valley & Salt Lake, Cafe Terigo was our 'hands-down' favorite! The food was amazing. The service was fantastic. The host (& management/ownership, that we had the pleasure of meeting), were kind, friendly & lovely people. These are the dishes we had and every single one of them were delicious and made with quality ingredients: - Baby Onion Rings w/Berry Ketchup: Abnormally light & flavorful - Housemade Ricotta Cheese w/Tomato Jam, & Grilled Baguette: A must! Delicious and we only regret that we didn't get a second order! - Seared Salmon: Perfectly prepared and flavorful - Smoked Chicken Fettuccine: I got it without chicken, but I loved the pasta...the sauce was fantastic! - Margherita Pizza - Great pizza with the perfect crust. The restaurant is warm & romantic and placed right in the heart of Main Street. The service matches the look & ambiance...warm & friendly. We all felt like 'regulars' & part of the family. I highly recommend Cafe Terigo and will make multiple reservations to visit, next time we're back in Park City!
google avatar

Valerie B.

Yelp
Yum! Great food, excellent atmosphere, and friendly service! We ate TOOOOO much! We had the salmon, the halibut, cioppino, and steak!

Yelp
We celebrated my husband's birthday at Cafe Terigo on a recent trip to Park City... Admittedly, it was a spontaneous trip and we couldn't get reservations at our first few choices last minute, but the concierge at our hotel recommended this place and got us in, so we were grateful for that and excited to try something new. Service was attentive and friendly and the restaurant is definitely following the Covid-19 guidelines with distancing, masks, etc... we felt safe there and appreciate that. I started the evening with mulled wine. I highly recommend it... especially on a chilly evening :). We shared a calamari appetizer and Caesar Salad. The calamari was just okay - it didn't have a ton of flavor. The salad was good. The complimentary warm cheesy bread / biscuits were delicious. I had the salmon entree and my husband had the veggie pasta. My dish was great - his was a bit disappointing... he didn't even finish it, which is very unlike him. Despite it being his birthday, none of the desserts called to us, so we skipped the sugar there. Needless to say, our meal here was good - perhaps our expectations were too high due to the recommendation from the concierge, or we just ordered wrong... based on other reviews, we may have just had an off meal. Either way, this place is a local business worth supporting!

Yelp
Came here for a cute night out during a trip to park city and was very pleased with the ambiance of the restaurant. They have a very cute outdoor area with pretty lights. The food was very good and our server was very kind. I would suggest cafe Terigo for a magical evening out!
google avatar

Amy Z.

Yelp
Super cute and amazing dinner spot that my colleague took us to. Main Street Park City is also such a cute area! The food was amazing here, we started off with delicious beverages like my Moscow mule. The calamari and burrata were super tasty. I ordered the seafood pasta and also split part of the scallop risotto with my colleague. And wow both were super fresh and tasty. The pasta was full of fish, mussels, clams. The scallops and risotto were creamy and fresh. Highly recommend!

Amber J.

Yelp
The food was by far some of the best I have ever had. The salmon was mouth watering!! But even more than that was the service. All waitstaff went above and beyond to help us out of a canceled reservation at another restaurant (that definitely wouldn't have been as good as Cafe Terigo)!! The manager was so kind! I would 1000% recommend them to everyone! It's a must try!
google avatar

Bob D.

Yelp
Very nice lunch location. The chicken terigo was great. Good service and the prices were reasonable

Tracy Z.

Yelp
Excellent service, ambiance and good. We enjoyed the whipped ricotta appetizer, the scallops on corn risotto, lamb chops, and delicious cocktails and dessert.

Addi C.

Yelp
Food was pretty good! The service was great to get in, but waitress gave snarky comments that weren't the kindest. They have the cutest decor and the vibe is nice and pleasant. I would definitely reccomend, but look out for snarky comments from waiters.
google avatar

Andrew K.

Yelp
Excellent lunch spot! I had the Bolognese and my wife had the smoked chicken risotto, both were excellent.

Howard A.

Yelp
If you make a reservation dont count on this establishment to honor it. We made one the day before. They said the earliest to make it was 12:30 as they would not open before it. We asked for earlier. We had asked for an outside table and were assured no problem on when reservation made. We received a text confirming our reservation the next morning. We showed up 15 min early. They had decided to open early. All outside tables were full and were were told it would be an hour and twenty minutes for outside and nothing inside to seat our part of five. I have never seen an establishment not care. We left and will not eat here on subsequent trips. Surprised they are in business when they dont honor their word.
google avatar

Katie B.

Yelp
If you are looking for a cozy, delicious place to eat, this is it when visiting Park City Main Street. The entire vibe and environment is completely blissful. The food is bursting with flavor and did not disappoint!
google avatar

Phoebe F.

Yelp
Tender Steamed Artichoke Grilled Flatbread With Local Goat Cheese Grilled bread was cold and the cheese was runnier than I typically am used to. Cheese was good although runny. Artichokes could use more flavor but still good All in all the experience on the patio is the highlight here but food is adequate

Yelp
Cafe Terigo is one of Park City's signature restaurants. As a former resident of Park City, it's been a "go to" for years. A buddy and I had dinner there before heading to the Egyptian Theater for a show. It's within walking distance. The service staff was on point the whole evening. My friend had the almond crusted salmon and I had the scallops with corn polenta. Everything was delicious and well presented, EXCEPT for the artichoke appetizer. Totally a flavor disappointment, as it was dry and had no meat to it. Even the heart of the artichoke was small and tasteless. They need a new purveyor of artichokes, so don't order it as an appetizer until they do. So the 4 star rating, until they hire an "artichoke inspector". Could be a 5 star then.
google avatar

Vanessa P.

Yelp
What a disappointment. Not only was tonight Valentine's Day, it was our anniversary. I notified them in advance. We had reservations. We are locals. Long story short--they did not treat us well. Although there were many tables open they stuck us in the back squeezed in way too tight with four other couples. Right after we sat down they seated 2 separate couples in the 2 4 tops behind us. What did we do to deserve being treated like sardines when these other couples had nice tables? (Not to mention the other couples stuck squeezed in with us!) Those other couples seated in the 4 tops after us also were served, done, and gone well before us. The service was painfully slow as we watched the later seated couples receive their food and drinks. There were so many open tables with more room the whole evening. I am baffled as to why they would stick all of us in such an uncomfortable setting. We were dressed appropriately and are regulars at many upscale Park City restaurants. I did not want to make a scene, but I was embarrassed and so disappointed the entire evening. There is nothing they could do to ever get us to go back there. I do not recommend unless you want the kind of service you would receive at a low end chain restaurant on a bad day.
google avatar

Kelly O.

Yelp
Spent our last night's dinner at Cafe Terigo in town enjoying Italian food and tasty drinks. We shared a GF Caesar salad (delicious), Pan Seared Scallops (GlutenFree-5-star); and Bolognese Pappardelle Pasta (good, 3.5-star). The Bolognese pasta was a bit undercooked/chewy and we were not noticed/welcomed by our waiter for 15+ minutes after being seated; only two detractions to otherwise memorable dinner. We would have otherwise given 5 stars. Definitely worth a visit while in Park City.
google avatar

Yelp
Cafe Terigo was an awesome date night spot! Ordered the artichoke appetizer and it was amazing. Excellent service and great entree options. I had the scallop Risotto and it was filling and flavoful! Highly recommend and would call for a reservation!

Yelp
The stake was not 16 ounces it was more like 10 ounces and was over priced but very good The service was amazing The room was very loud but very nicely decorated
