I totally recommend this place, everything about it’s great .!! If you want a place to hang out in Tena, you’ve found it .!!

This is a very nice place to eat in Tena. Our vegetarian dishes were delicious. We ordered the Avocado Salad, the Yucas Fritas, and a non-vegetarian panecook for my husband. For dessert we shared the vegan lemon tart- it’s made with “maduro “… it was delicious… I had a sugar-free papaya juice with water. The service is very good. We also had some Coffee … check the menu! They have everything to try! My daughter loved the place… super colorful and good music. Nice view and ambience … the only little thing is that one of the servers makes a lot of noise as he interacts with everyone around and visitors from the neighborhood… seems he is very enthusiastic… ;) for the rest everything was just perfect… go visit ! U won’t regret it!

A chill coffee spot but when you hear employees playing their dam cellphones over the music it kills the purpose of going the the coffee shop to have a drink and relax!!! This is an absolute no no. Too bad if it wasn’t of that they would have had a nice review but these young people nowadays are just plain annoying playing with their freaking cellphone!! OHNO, the person playing their phone was exactly in the Kitchen! Owners response was to deny my comment…. downgrade to a one star!

Kombucha brewed and served here! Yucca fries and all the sauces were awesome. My favorite was a veggie burger with the caramelized onions and mushrooms. Instead of a bun, they served it on a delicious crispy plantain. Ginger shots and juice of the day awesome too. Super friendly for gluten-free, dairy free, vegetarian. But they do have eggs and meat also

Best place for breakfast in all of Tena. Amazing food and drink selections, and great atmosphere! They also have options for lunch! The Tortuga cookies are so cute, and the location can't be beat!

We've only been in Tena for a couple of days but we've been back to Cafe Tortuga three times so far. And we'll probably come back tomorrow. The service is super friendly, the food is varied and interesting. And the whole vibe is interesting, fun, and centered around body-healthy and planet-healthy choices.

Soooo delicious, I ate here 3 times over the course of three days, everything I had was superb!! Highly recommend!
