Café Truhlárna

I stopped by Café Truhlárna and was pleasantly surprised. The tonic espresso was refreshing and perfectly balanced , a great choice if you’re into unique coffee blends. What really stood out, though, was the garden outside. It’s peaceful, green, and beautifully maintained, the kind of place where you want to slow down and enjoy the moment. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Like a hidden garden, coffees and desserts are very nice. Friendly and warm service, normal prices. Will come again and again. Special thanks to the waiter who showed me their tonics.

Popped into this cafe twice during my time in Prague - has a nice courtyard for outdoor seating where I enjoyed an affogato both times I came here Staff were incredibly nice and as a non-coffee drinker, I thought the espresso tasted delicious with the ice cream. If I were to visit Prague again, I would definitely come by here for a revisit

Really pleasant place to sit and enjoy a great coffee, yummy treat or glass of beer. We’ve been here several times this week since we are staying in a nearby apartment and have enjoyed it every time.

Really modern and pretty vibe & atmosphere. With very friendly service and SUCH good cakes! The red velvet cake was to die for, so can only recommend that one! The Chai Latte was also veryyy tasty! Thanks for a great time!

Friendly service, and a charming outdoor garden with a plenty of seating options. It is quiet and relaxing to have a cold drink to avoid bustling touristic areas. The only problem was it was quite tricky to find the entrance from the main street.

Prices got out of hand even for Prague city center standards. Tiny cupcake for 136 CZK is just ridiculous.

My friend ordered a glass of wine for CZK 79 according to a price shield (not really cheap already). When she was paying it she was told they just elevated the prices and haven't had time to rewrite it. She didn't want to argue and bought it for CZK 85. I couldn't believe it so I went inside (it's a self service) and ordered a lemonade. As I wanted to pay they asked me for a higher price than the one which was declared. I refused to pay it and thought the staff would admit that this is not the way a customer should be treated. No chance. So I went out without buying anything sat in the garden and watched my friend drinking her expensive wine. At least I was not thrown out. One thing is clear: the customer is neither a king nor a guest here. I would say it' s a servant who has to obey and pay.

A really neat spot for a cafe, right in the Franciscan monastery and garden. Beautiful outdoor seating space and cozy indoor seating. More expensive than most cafes in the area, but one of the coolest spots. I got the gingerbread latte and it was very yummy. Their regular latte is also great.

Super cute cafe shop with awesome espresso drinks and pastry. Cute location with a courtyard seating area. Friendly service too!

A sweet tranquil cafe within a the Franciscan Gardens. They also have traditional pastries, but I only had an Americano today.

I love to sit outside on hot sunny days since the cafe is located in a wonderful park right next to Wenceslas Square. Inside the place is rather small and they only serve limited food selection and the service is not the best but if the weather is nice this makes up for all the other setbacks.

Wonderful cafe whether you sit inside or outside and steps away from a lovely public garden. Both sweet and savory things to eat. The cappuccino and Americano we ordered we're perfect and so was our sweet. Soft music meant we could peacefully read. Alcohol available, of course. We will be back if and when we return to Prague!
