Café Truhlárna

Truhlárna feels like stepping into a little Prague daydream. Cute entrance, a pastry bar that tempts you instantly, and the scent of coffee wrapping around you the moment you walk in. Even on a busy day, the staff found us the coziest corner and brought our drinks and cake in no time. Sipping a latte and matcha while watching people wander toward the park felt like pure cozy bliss. Just steps from the Film Museum, it’s an easy and fun stop to bookend your outing. Charming, warm, and absolutely delicious, I highly recommend this Prague gem.

I wanted to have a coffee in the cold Prague weather, and I found this place. I had a great coffee with a dessert. The place was warm and comfortable. I definitely recommend this café.

Nice little café tucked inside the Franciscan Gardens. It’s cosy indoors and has a pleasant outdoor seating area. The desserts were tasty, though the coffee was a bit burnt, so not my favourite. Still a nice spot for a quiet break in the gardens.

One of the cutest cafes I have ever been to. Super cozy. It felt like something out of a movie, right in the middle of the park. The café and our sandwich were super delicious. If you are in the neighbourhood, one hundred percent give them a try.

I stopped by Café Truhlárna and was pleasantly surprised. The tonic espresso was refreshing and perfectly balanced , a great choice if you’re into unique coffee blends. What really stood out, though, was the garden outside. It’s peaceful, green, and beautifully maintained, the kind of place where you want to slow down and enjoy the moment. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I love the place that is placed in the middle of a garden and it has nice outdoor space, as well as indoor, quiet and peaceful. Anyway, the prices for the coffee are way too high, 115 for cappuccino with oat milk... what. I've had many specialty coffees in places that even won awards, yet the prices were cheaper. Why so expensive 🫰

Like a hidden garden, coffees and desserts are very nice. Friendly and warm service, normal prices. Will come again and again. Special thanks to the waiter who showed me their tonics.

Loveed this coffee place. The Service is nice, the coffee is great. Tried one of their desserts and it was nice. I cannot imagine how it looks in summer !

Café Truhlárna is such a cute little café spot--cozy, charming, and perfect for a relaxed hangout. I ordered the chai latte and it was *so* good, easily one of the best I've had. The portions are huge, especially for the price, which felt more than reasonable. On top of that, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Definitely a place I'd come back to again and again!

A really neat spot for a cafe, right in the Franciscan monastery and garden. Beautiful outdoor seating space and cozy indoor seating. More expensive than most cafes in the area, but one of the coolest spots. I got the gingerbread latte and it was very yummy. Their regular latte is also great.

Super cute cafe shop with awesome espresso drinks and pastry. Cute location with a courtyard seating area. Friendly service too!

A sweet tranquil cafe within a the Franciscan Gardens. They also have traditional pastries, but I only had an Americano today.

I love to sit outside on hot sunny days since the cafe is located in a wonderful park right next to Wenceslas Square. Inside the place is rather small and they only serve limited food selection and the service is not the best but if the weather is nice this makes up for all the other setbacks.

Wonderful cafe whether you sit inside or outside and steps away from a lovely public garden. Both sweet and savory things to eat. The cappuccino and Americano we ordered we're perfect and so was our sweet. Soft music meant we could peacefully read. Alcohol available, of course. We will be back if and when we return to Prague!
