Café Turó

I ate here for breakfast, sat outside as it’s nicely positioned, had a buzz but not too noisy. Service was excellent and good very good and reasonably priced so I went back with a colleague for lunch. Just the same, would highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious coffee – rich, aromatic, and brewed to perfection. The kind of cup you wish you could start every day with. The food? Equally impressive. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care and attention to detail. But what truly made the experience special was the service. Leslie was an absolute delight – incredibly kind, warm, and attentive. Her energy added a personal touch that made the whole visit feel even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, amazing coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Given its location, I expected the prices to be steeper which was a pleasant surprise, but not nearly as much as the quality of food and the service of the staff. I will definitely be back.

A very pleasant place to enjoy a cup of coffee and something tasty – in my case, it was a Caesar salad, which was really delicious. On top of that, the service was incredibly friendly – greetings to Ms. Leslie!

The food and the wine are quite good, but the waitresses (or servants with a contract) are neither nice nor attentive AT ALL, maybe they are underpaid, burned out, or badly managed, so a disappointing upscale Barcelona experience. How can it compete with Paris, Lisbon or London hospitality service level? At those prices it should improve according to what the place concept and the prices reflect, to be rated above 4,5 but there you see, a poor result.

Mussels with «Poulette» sauce was delicious. And also Alfredo pasta with ham shavings was quite tasty. We took water as a drink this time so the total cost for two person was €30.

really nice place. from the decoration to the waiters & the food, everything is enjoyable. my salad was amazing. my dessert was way better than in france (so, really, congrats!). it s a 10/10 for me :)

We were at an off hour and luckily we were able to eat here because we were starving. Food was OK, but on the pricy side. The mushrooms were really good!! The tempura shrimp were good as well. The chicken club was added at the end because my son was still hungry and he enjoyed it. Patatas were ok land we dug in right away so my photos are not pristine.

A perfect place for a cup of tea o cafe on a terrace, next to Turo park and quite far from noise. But the prices are quite hight, and the porrions are very small. It's also good for a breakfast.

Horrible, horrible place. Out side seating is nice but service is the worse that I have experienced. Waitress wouldn't even bother greeting customers and waiter said if you want to sit outside you have to stand and wait out there. Food was sub standard and over cooked or under seasoned. Nothing spectacular. Kitchen smelled awful. OVERALL A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND I WOULD NEVER RECCOMEND OR COME HERE AGAIN. Best bet is get some food somewhere else and go to the park...you will have an amazing time.

Good stuff but damn it was expensive! The Cod with the beans were awesome! Xin-Xin!

Historic little cafe located at a corner on the north eastern side of Turo Park. Cafe Turo is more like an upscale cafe - with elegant tapas and foods. The prices are equally upscale. But the setting is nice. Especially if you get an outside seat facing out toward Pau Casals. The interior is also lovely - but not wheelchair accessible (yeah - I have to think about that when I take my mom places... but at least the sidewalk tables are lovely). I know - not much of a review... It's just that it's always been there, and it's a nice choice - but nothing especially calls to me other than the people watching. And you almost always hear French being spoken from at least one table here... perhaps that person might be me.

Not for tourists. Not for foodies. But if you need a reasonably nice cafe, reasonably good food, and a cold beer, and happen to be nearby, then this place is perfect. The lovely Turo Parc across the street is good for a post meal stroll. Shh...this is a quiet neighborhood.
