Cafe Zambezi

Horrendous service — it took 3 hours for a 1 course meal and literally 45 mins for a pineapple juice. A pizza took a full 2 hours despite being chased regularly and being told it was coming. Very drunk locals stumbling around the restaurant and an unsafe atmosphere in the bar area for the women in our party (which you have to go through to get to the loos). No game meat available, average quality food—go elsewhere. Note that it is apparently under new management so older, good, reviews may no longer be applicable.

I booked 2 nights here, but the second day the staff told me my room was already reserved for another one. And she even said that yesterday I was informed by her colleague, which was totally ridiculous because NO ONE said anything about this. In the end, she asked me to change to the dorms since there was no other rooms left, but I refused and left for another accommodation. What a good experience, hhh, please don't go to this shity place.

It was only nearby option for me when the hotel where I was staying closed its kitchen at 8:30pm, and the place did not disappoint. They were able to offer vegetarian options. Servings were great and I enjoyed the food. Highly recommended

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I went there for dinner and ordered a burger. First, the food took over an hour to get there, the waitress we had wasn’t nice but also not terrible. When the food finally got there after my stomach finished consuming the left over fat on my body I opened the take away and was blown away by how terribly mediocre the food was. The burger was the size of an oreo and the bun was 3 times the size of the burger. The food tasted better than it looked, but that doesn’t mean it was good. I spent K190 on food and drink, when that food wasn’t even worth K20. STAY AWAY!

Worst ever service in a restaurant ever . Food was good though ordered 2 coffee arrived 25 minutes after and was cold , main meal ok and tasty then ordered two desserts mine came reasonable time my wife's never arrived kept complaining staff indifferent to clients . We were with a sunway tour party and have recommended to them never to use this cafe again . Bill was got wrong too.

Nice rooms, nice campsite, good food, extremely friendly owner and staff. Highly recommend to stay or eat here.

Probably the worst place I’ve been too, service is absolutely terrible. Lady that was helping us did not want to be there. Very unpleasant experience. I got the Caribbean pizza, it took forever, taste a 3/10 and I still have food poisoning and it has been 2 days now. Definitely do not recommend it you want a good experience. Maybe it was a one time thing but for a first experience I would never go back again. Also brought me a full of grease take away box (looked second hand). Place has a lot of potential but they need make some changes.

It has a perfect location, a supermarket is only a one-minute walk away, there are delicious restaurants, and a large parking lot. The only downside is that you can't use the hot water in the shower room, but the staff can help boil water over a charcoal fire.
