Cafe Zerno

Let me be clear. I like the place and I will most certainly come back, because the coffee here is more than adequate and the service attitude is ok by Minsk standards, so my 3-star rating is a message and a statement. Guys, 19 minutes waiting time in a cafe is NOT okay! My desserts arrived 7 and 9 minutes past me placing the order -- ok-ish. Desserts were fresh and toasty, loved it, but the coffee arrived wholesome 10 minutes after that. Do you think the desserts stayed fresh and toasty by then? If you wonder why on earth I was tracking times, I have an answer that wouldn't please you. Last 2 visits I've had exactly the same experience, so this time round I thought I'd give it a measure and write a review. Or maybe give you a chance to prove me wrong, because, again, I like the quality of your food. But the third time wasn't lucky, the situation, sadly, is fairly consistent. Also, I have to report that I wasn't alone in my disappointment either: a guy sitting next to me went to chase for his order, which is something you'd expect to happen in a restaurant, not a cafe. I can only hope this review makes an impact and helps you make the last leap to perfection. Peace.

You can't go wrong by going here! Whatever you get, you are going to enjoy. I personally really like their Lavender Latte. I think this is one of the better spots to come to if you want to work from your laptop. They also have good small meals to keep you comfortable.

Great place to work. Friendly staffs. And great dessert. Didn't try the coffee but got chai latte, was good.

Zerno is my favourite coffee shop in Minsk. It's one of those places that you want to visit during dark cold winter or nice warm summer. The staff speak fluent English and very friendly. They make a great coffee as well :)

Not so far from the city center, free plug and wifi. Delicious coffee and cakes.

It was so-so. I am hoping to change this to a 5 star review in the next couple months once the weather gets warmer and the patio is open. But for now, it's average at best. I do like that there is no mirror in the bathroom. It deters the type of women that need to look at themselves every hour from coming to this cafe.

Nice place to have a cup of coffee. Self made desserts and pies are pretty good. Price is average. Good location in center of Minsk. Easy to get here from tube. In summer there is nice terrace to have some rest in shadow and drink lemonade or ice latte.

Nice coffee bar with vegan options, I came two days in a row to work here. I had cacao from Alpro almond milk and an exceptionally delicious piece of vegan chocolate raspberry cake. The personnel speaks English and is super friendly. The music is great. The wifi isn't 100% stable and there's cold wind every time the door opens.
