This is a wonderful place to experience the art of Flamenco song and dance in an intimate setting. The staff was friendly and kind, and the food and drink service was fast and efficient. The dancers, the singer and the guitarist were mesmerizing, and they looked happy to be on stage, sharing their art and athleticism with the crowd. They brought passion, joy and intensity to their performance. It was my first time attending a Flamenco performance and I'm so glad we went with this intimate and personal setting, instead of with one of the larger, not commercialized performances in central Madrid. My thanks to the performers and staff of Café Ziryab for a wonderful evening!

A Soul-Stirring Flamenco Experience — Unforgettable! Café Ziryab offers an intimate and electrifying window into the heart of flamenco. From the moment the performers stepped onto the stage, we were completely captivated—the raw emotion, the technical brilliance, and the deep connection between dancer, singer, and guitarist created pure magic. The venue itself is warm, welcoming, and perfectly designed to let you feel every stomp, strum, and sigh up close. There's nothing commercial or touristy about it—this is authentic, soul-deep artistry that leaves you breathless. If you're in Madrid and want to experience flamenco the way it’s meant to be felt—up close, personal, and powerful—Café Ziryab is simply a must. Bravo to the artists and the team who make this space so special. We’ll be talking about this night for years to come. If you want to experience an authentic Spanish flamenco experience, this is the spot! We had a phenomenal evening, the ambiance was stupendous, the service was on point, and we were honored to have witnessed the greatest of the great talents in flamenco. La Truco! Amazing! I recommend Cafe Ziryab without reservation! Ole!!

We had the most incredible experience at Cafe Ziryab experiencing their flamenco show. We have three daughters who have been heavily involved in dance and theater for twenty years, and I have never seen such passion on a stage as we did during this show. It was incredible! The setting was intimate, the food was delicious, the music and dancing were just phenomenal. 10/10 recommend!

This what Flamenco is suppose to be. I felt grabbed from the moments the lights dimmed and the first string was strummed on the guitar. The dancing was phenomenal as was the music. Make your next night out in a place that is not rushing you in to rush you out for the next performance. To much of Flamenco is about getting as much money out of each show and this is not that kind of show. The artists loved what they where doing and the free drink with the show was not a bad addition. Thank you again for such a great night out. I only wish it could have been longer. Though I do not know where the performers would have gotten the energy. That was an explosion of energy from start to finish.

Yelp
One of the things I wanted to go see when we were in Spain was a flamenco performance. A lot of the high-rated popular ones I found online were pretty pricey. With some Reddit browsing, a couple of people recommended Cafe Ziryab which had a more intimate setting for a cheaper price. I checked them out and decided this was where we were gonna go. Originally, I reserved this place for a Thursday, but we wanted to change around some of our travel plans while in Madrid, and luckily, we were able to easily change our reservation to Wednesday a couple of days before. It was super easy to change online, and it worked out so well with our schedule. We got to the place maybe 30 minutes before our reservation which was great since there were plenty of seats closer to the stage. They checked us in and sat us down. There are different tickets available if you wanted a bottle of wine or a cheese spread. We got the cheapest tickets which already comes with a drink included. The server was super friendly and welcoming. I got a beer and my bf got grape juice. You also get a small dish of olives which was nice. They started the show shortly after 8:30pm hit. It was amazing! The vibes from the performers and the staff were great! One of the workers even joined in for a flamenco dance circle at the end. The venue was small, but that contributed to a more fun and intimate setting. My bf and I absolutely loved it! If you're looking for a fun flamenco show in Madrid that won't break your wallet, I definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
I feel like I took too long to write this, but I'm back in the Washington, D.C., and still reminiscing on my experience. A whole in the wall ambience, which as my experience as a Washingtonian, is always the best! The flamenco is memorable, our waitress (light skin, blues eyes) was kind and attentive as can be, el jamon, queso, and vino platter was well worth it. Thank you'd Cafe Ziryab for a phenomenal evening. You all, as a whole, were awesome!!!

Yelp
My wife and I were in Madrid vacationing and we wanted to go to a traditional flamenco bar but didn't want to pay the high prices found in the tourist trap areas around Sol. We went online and found this great place away from the noise of all the tourist. We went with a bit of apprehension but we were amazed by the dancing, food, and drinks. Nothing was overpriced. In actuality we felt like it was a steal for how much we paid. The dancers danced not for the crowd but for the love of what they were doing. True passion and we felt it! It was AMAZING!!! We got there about 15 minutes early and we sat right up front next to the small stage. (No bad seats in this place) location is small and personal. We loved it!!! Please don't pass up on this place. The correct address is Paseo de la Esperanza 17
