I rarely leave one-star reviews, but unfortunately, my experience here was truly disappointing. I ordered a caffè macchiato, a croissant, and a slice of carrot cake. The drink didn’t taste great. I had chosen this place hoping to relax and get some work done, but the environment made that impossible. The room was so cold that I ended up with a stomachache. At one point, I went to the counter to order tea. I stood there for about four minutes — I was the only customer — and yet neither of the two staff members acknowledged me. They walked past me several times without saying a word, as if I wasn’t even there. Eventually, I gave up and went back to my table without ordering anything, feeling completely ignored. To top it off, when I needed to use the restroom, it was out of service. I left feeling disappointed and uncomfortable. There was zero hospitality, zero warmth, and zero effort to make customers feel seen or cared for. If you’re looking for a cozy café to relax or work, I’d suggest checking out the nearby options — they offer a much better atmosphere and, at the very least, a welcoming smile.

We recently stopped by for coffee and pancakes at Cafeincup on Rue des Argentiers. They have a casual and nice indoor seating area, you can do take-away orders as well. Coffees served on the morning were strong, bold flavour and tasted as expected. Pancakes came as a stack of three, served dry with Nutella. These were fine as well. Service friendly, timely and environs quite relaxing for a light breakfast.

I had a fantastic experience at this café! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the coffee was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented, and I especially appreciated the attention to detail. Whether you’re looking for a place to relax, work, or catch up with friends, this café is a perfect choice. Highly

Terrible service, we had to wait a long time to get our drinks, no cutlery was provided and terrible attitude from the waitresses, they were clearly beyond capacity and stress. Food was TERRIBLE, avocado toast was made with supermarket bread while there is beautiful bread in Bordeaux. The açaí bowl was served Mega frozen, the portion of the pancakes was ridiculous. We asked for a glass of milk for our daughter and they brought us 1/8 of the glass filled! Go to the place in front, the pancakes looks better and we’ll served

We were greeted by very friendly staff and found the place relaxing. The general mood was such, and it was pleasant to see the other customers on their laptops, chatting or simply sipping at their cups. Sandwich portions are substantial so do consider sharing. We didn't get a chance to try the coffee, but the chai is much lighter than elsewhere, and they have an intriguing detox juice. Great experience, nonetheless!

Nice little cafe in very convenient location. Had an oat flat white and avocado toast which is quite rare to find in this city. Really appreciated it as a vegan but a bit overpriced in my opinion.

Got a takeaway matcha here that was just warm milk, but given overall positive rating I decided to give it another try the next day. Ordered the granola bowl with “seasonal fruit” and got two tablespoons of yogurt with apple for 7€ 🥵 on top of that largely unfriendly staff who seemed generally displeased to be there

Food and coffee really good. Service quite poor.

Yelp
I'm so surprised this café doesn't have more reviews. It's the biggest coffee shop I've been to since moving to Bordeaux and the owner is such a sweetheart. I've only been here twice so that goes to show that this place made an impression on me. The first time I had an iced mocha which I was very, very happy about considering iced coffee is not a big thing here. I asked the man what was the difference between regular mocha and the viennoise and apparently it's just the whipped cream. Yesterday I took a friend and I got an iced matcha with a raspberry cheesecake and he got a cappuccino and the items were very presentable and IG worthy. There's free wifi and plenty of space. They even have an upstairs section. I'm here for a whole year so this place will be one of the places I spend a lot of time at!

Yelp
The base breakfast. 6.9 euro Hot cup, orange juice or so , 2 pancakes. I got a mocha viennoisse which was 4.5 on its own We were not sure what that was but coffee, chocolate and lots of whipped cream on top. Very rich chocolate and I should have stirred more but that was hard to do in the beginning. Pancakes were good. So good for the start of the day. Nice photos on the wall downstairs and soeclectic Decor.

Yelp
I really enjoy this little cafe. The location is great and the prices are reasonable. I think it's the atmosphere that I enjoy the most. They have a lot of seating both down and upstairs. Great place to work on homework or just relax with some friends. They also seem to have a great brunch plan on Sundays but I haven't had the opportunity to try that yet.

Yelp
Comfortable place with a good selection of coffee, both espresso and brewed coffee. I had a very good BLT and all the food I saw looked great. Comfortable seating area with big tables - and the folks working their were friendly. No problem ordering in English. Great.
