As the name conveys, Cafe Te Ando is small enough to simply order and walk. However, the service and coffee was anything but small. Yes, I ordered my usual, in a to go cup. The “filthy” dirty chai caught my eye and It certainly didn’t disappoint. The chai had what I believe was a hint of Almond. Nice. Should you find yourself lost in the Chambri neighborhood of Madrid, I suggest you walk to Cafe Te Ando, but don’t plan to sit down. Enjoy

Very nice, atmospheric place. Unfortunately, we weren’t lucky with the coffee—our Americanos were watery and tasted too sour.

This is a small cafeteria and it had only service for to go but it's located in front of a park that has a lot of tables and benches.

I’m so glad we stumbled upon this tea shop while looking for places to go in Google Maps. We saw that they had good reviews and that the owner knew his tea so we decided to give it a try. The owner recommended hot rooibos chai tea with oat milk to go with the perfect cold Madrid weather and it did not disappoint. Definitely coming back here when we find ourselves in Madrid again.

One of the best cafes in Madrid! Great coffee made by their incredibly friendly staff, who’s happy to tell you all about the beans they use. It has a lovely little terrace for enjoying a cup of coffee and a delicious homemade sweet.

Delicious coffee indeed. Good for grab and go as the place is tiny. Be patient when there are a few customers as it can take sometime.

Not only was my flat white excellent (and the outside seating area was very comfortable), but afterwards I went to purchase coffee beans and the barista was very educated on the product as well as incredibly pleasant to talk to. This place is a 'must go' if you're in Madrid!

Yelp
I visited Cafeteando a couple of times during my recent time in Madrid and would have gone even more often had my schedule permitted. It offers lovingly prepared, high-quality coffee and tea drinks--including cold brew--in the Plaza de Olavide, a beautiful part of town without any other places offering coffee and tea of that caliber. Not only that, the owners know what they are doing: one of them talked with me for almost half an hour about coffee extraction and roasting. His passion was refreshingly unpretentious--it was clear that he simply loved good coffee and wanted to share it with others. While I don't know enough to comment intelligently on their selection of coffee beans and teas, I'm certain that they choose everything in the place with care. Highly recommended!

Yelp
This is a unique corner in Madrid, for coffee & tea lovers, but also for an enjoyable chat, or for a quick grab&go! The couple who runs this business is just amazing and they are very welcoming people. They love to prepare the most special coffee (and tea) and they will explain you the secrets for getting the best results out of every brewing method. I try to swing by every time that I am in the area!
