My wife and I have been coming to this restaurant for years, and it always stands out as the best among the many breakfast spots we frequent. Adrian and Luis are our regular servers, consistently providing excellent service. The quality of the food, the cleanliness, and the peaceful back patio—our favorite spot—make this place a true gem. While I haven’t tried lunch or dinner, I can confidently say the breakfast is incredible.

A nice local diner with choices of coffee, juice and a bunch of brunch dishes. It’s also open during night. Atmosphere is quiet and waiters are very patient to help non-Spanish speakers with translator. Tried Huevos motuleños and Chicken in Salsa Sauce. Complimentary French bread and white toast smells really good. They are great match with salsa. The salsa is only a little spicy. Love both! The fresh melon juice is very refreshing.

This is very nice place for breakfast and or lunch. I had breakfast of scrambled eggs with bacon. It came with toast and fruit cup. Spouse had chicken fajitas. All was very good. Service is good. Place is clean. Mostly local when I visited and mostly Spanish spoken. Highly recommended.

This place has a very friendly staff, great food, and excellent prices. For being so close to downtown it’s very inexpensive.

The name is wrong on these pics. It's actually Cafetería Pop, which is right next door and owned by the same people. This is the first restaurant I remember eating at in Mérida back in 1992 when I was a little kid! These days my kids and I go about once a week, and it's their absolute favorite. My 7 year old lives for their sopa de lima. The servers are the absolute best I've ever encountered, and the food is fabulous. They have standard diner fare, Mexican specialties, and a cool 1970's decor.

I love ordering club sandwiches in Mexico. You never know what you're going to get! This one was chicken salad on one side, ham cheese lettuce and tomato on the other. Toast was crispy. Nice coleslaw and a few fries. Nothing fancy, but tastes good and inexpensive.

I went here for breakfast and it was very good. I had a simple meal of eggs and toast. Good coffee and delicious fresh squeeze orange juice. Good service.

Yelp
I only did deliveries so I can't speak about the actual restaurant, but I did like the chicken soup. It was really good and the fruit was fresh. I ordered the longaniza scramble and it was very bland. I will order again

Yelp
What a great little. This was a less touristy spot, we could tell when we entered and it was packed but packed with locals. Prices are reasonable and they have great combination specials. We both got the huevos ranchero and it came with beans, coffee, toast and juice or fruit for 100 pesos (about $5). The food was quickly and it was hot and delicious! Our server was fantastic as well. Great spot with great food at great prices

Yelp
What a GREAT place, with indoor and outdoor seating (for your pup). Huge, extensive menu and everything tried so far is delicious, and reasonably priced, excellent, professional service, and clean, welcoming atmosphere. Serving Breakfast through dinner. Can recommend the the sopa de lima with chicken, guacamole, hot cakes, many different egg dishes, club sandwich and their roast 1/2 chicken. So very good.

Yelp
Luis was our server and was amazing! He had our food out and kept the table extremely clean when plates became finished! I love it when the table is picked up so that was a great service on his part and the food was great and my teen kids and two 3 year old ate fruits, pancakes, scrambled eggs and orange juice without issues! I highly recommend you to eat breakfast here! Plenty of room and fans for breakfast! They accept visa with no issues too!

Yelp
Had breakfast here on a Rainy Saturday morning. Only a couple of tables were full. Nice clean restaurant with good wait staff. My wife and I ordered breakfast packets that came with coffee and orange juice. The coffee was very weak with little to no flavor. The OJ was very good. My packet included eggs, sausage, and toast. Eggs were ok and the sausage not so much. Did not enjoy the flavor. Toast was ok with strawberry jelly. My wife's packet included chilaquiles verde with an egg. The verde sauce was almost bitter. She was not a fan. We have been wanting to try this place but don't think we will be back.

Yelp
There is nothing special about this place. Other than the courtyard seating. Warning: bring bug spray or be prepared to be eaten alive. The eggs were overcooked. If you're a breakfast place you should at a bare minimum be able to cook eggs. This might also be the only place in the entire country that still serves drip pot coffee. The only saving graces were the fresh OJ, the friendly service and the cheap prices.

Yelp
This place was interesting. I went because I was hoping to find an American Style coffee. They serve their coffee with warm milk, not cream. Not even half and half. The guy who worked there was quite friendly and there is a mural or picture that was painted by a famous artist. I got a breakfast dish and it was OK. I don't eat eggs, but my husband does. The atmosphere was nice enough that we could do some people watching and it's clear that they have a regular cast of characters who show up every morning for their coffee. But I did manage to find something to nibble on so that I wasn't starving as we went about our day. I probably wouldn't stop in again unless it's to get a picture of the mural or if I was desperate for coffee and nothing else was open. But it is a cute little joint and I'm glad that I went.

Yelp
I needed salad stat! I wasn't in much of a mood to walk far and it was already 8pm on Friday. This is already much later for me in terms of dinner. Apparently us Americans eat too early! Anyway, while we were walking to Chaya Maya today, I saw this place. It was well rated on Tripadvisor so it must be good right? Well there was only 2 people in the place when we passed by and I was about to give up when the be said lets go inside and we can also order like a quesadilla. Three people were just sitting around waiting for us to sit and order. We had the ensalada verde mixto and the quesadilla con jamon. Also got a Yerba buena tea wondering what it was and well surprise it was peppermint. The food came out fairly quickly the quesadilla was pretty much three small tortillas with Swiss cheese and a slice of ham the same size as the tortilla. I bet you it's the same tortilla for the tacos. It came with a side of warm salsa and sour cream like substance. My salad was a large iceberg lettuce with some bell peppers, carrots, tomatoes, celery, and red onions. It came with a ranch dressing on the side. I was so happy with my large salad. It was only $50! The tea was $15. Total was $110 that's MXD of course. More folks came in after us and one that was well dressed. So I felt more comfy about eating there. Folks seem to rave about the breakfast here. Overall it's a no fuss or frills place.

Yelp
Everything was right! Friendly service, very reasonable price and good desayunos! And free wifi If you like calm breakfast with A//C and bossa-nova radio.. There you will have it! A very food place to start the day. Several full breakfast on menu, mexican or continental cooked eggs.. With fruits or juice.. Coffee or tea and toast with jam & butter. It goes from 50 to 120 pesos for a full breakfast.

Yelp
We stopped here for breakfast. There is parking right outside the restaurant on the streets. The dining space is huge, so I think you'll almost always get seated immediately without having to wait too long. I don't remember the name of the dish that we ordered, but the plate had two crispy tortillas, with eggs on the top, salsa and sprinkled with some cheese and peas. It was different from what I've had in other places and I liked it. The plate also comes with toast cafe con leche and a freshly squeezed orange juice. My only gripe is, for coffee, they gave me powder cream, instead of real milk or cream. I didn't expect that in Mexico. Not a bad place for breakfast.

Yelp
This retro diner looks like hasn't been redecorated since the 1970s but that's what gives it charm. We came for breakfast - my huevos rancheros came with peas on it(?). Coffee was good and there is free Wifi available

Yelp
What you get for the price is ok, but don't expect good quality food or a nice atmosphere. Cold light but a nice waiter. So if you're just looking for food - go for it! The WiFi works well - ask the waiter for the password.
