Cafetoria Café & Shop

I went into Cáfetoria for “just one coffee” and left questioning every life decision I’ve made that involved drinking anything else. The baristas here don’t just make coffee, they conduct a full-blown performance....beans are treated with more respect than most corporate managers give their employees. The espresso hit me so hard I briefly considered starting a tech company, running a marathon, and calling my mom all at the same time. The pour-over? Smooth enough to convince me Helsinki winter is actually tolerable. Atmosphere: cozy but not sleepy. Service: so friendly that I almost tipped in advance, just out of anticipation. Coffee: dangerously good. If you’re in Helsinki and skip this place, I’m not saying you’ve failed in life… but you’ve definitely made a questionable strategic decision. Would 100% come back, even if it means re-mortgaging my apartment for another flat white.

Everything was perfect. The coffee (their own, Cafetoria Gran Palomar, as they are a coffee roastery the Spanish style sandwich (I forgot its fancy name :) ), the pistacchio croissant. The prices were not higher than elsewhere. Will visit again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The coffee and lemon dessert here are both absolutely delicious. The lattes are made very carefully and taste perfect. Best coffee I've had in Finland

Came in to Cafetoria to get warm and dry after some rainfall during our recent stay in Helsinki. We chose Cafetoria because of the great Google Reviews and we were not disappointed! The staff were friendly and spoke great English, they also brought drinks and hot food to the table. The interior is bright and cosy, the seats were comfortable and definitely helped us rest up after a walking-heavy day. The coffee was fantastic, I had an oat milk flat white and my mom had a cappuccino. I loved the flavor of the beans used and I disagree with a different review on here that said that the oat milk killed the flavor of the beans - I feel like they complimented each other well. The drinks were at perfect temperature, too - just right to start drinking right after being served without burning your mouth or the milk not tasting right. Their pistachio croissants were lovely and fresh and we felt they were a good value for the price, considering how expensive pistachios are. My mom also had a pastry stuffed with beef and she loved it. All in all I highly recommend this place and if I’m ever back in Helsinki I will make an effort to come again!

We had a Rwandan hand poured and the dark roast oat milk flat white. Both were excellent, very clear in the flavours and well rounded in their body. The counselling at the counter which bean to choose was helpful. The atmosphere is light. All in all highly recommend.

I had a good memory about their coffee and desserts as well as the cozy ambience. But when I went again in this time, I noticed very rude and impolite attitude of the blond woman staff. She was approaching to the solo customers either sitting alone at the 2 persons table or shared table to rush them to get out if their drinks are done. Obviously customers were leaving awkwardly. It seemd that she doesn't understand why someone comes alone and sitting at the cafe more than 15mins. She put her laptop next to the person who has laptop and starts to write on her laptop <Laptop only allwed at the window table> in a bold letter. That sign wasn't written anywhere at the cafe except on her laptop page. She was repeating this unbelivable behaviour next to each person who uses the laptop. When I was waiting my friend at the shared table of six but sitting alone (others left frustrated or annoyed by her), She quickly took my empty cup away and sitting right next to me with her THAT latptop and started writing <NO LAPTOP>. I asked her if something's wrong my laptop opend here. I could open my book instead. she sayid no no no no. Then my friend finally came and joined me, she immediately left. Of course, she came back and start to kicking other customers out by re-arranging their table and making noise around them by dragging chairs who ever finished their drinks. This is unbelivable situation. It seems Only herself doesn't notice how all the customers feel awkward and how they finally leave the cafe. Is this the cafe's new strategy, or just a personal madness?

The coffee shop has a cozy setting. The interior is clean and welcoming. They also, sell coffee beans and other products. My rating is rather related to the variety of food when it comes to allergy related illnesses. For instance, the only milk they have is oat. And when it comes to gluten free, don’t go there hungry. Your universe will be limited to one polenta item (that may have traces of gluten) so not to experiment much … And, as for the coffee itself, I have had better beans … The taste of oat milk in my latte covered for all the richness and texture of the coffee… Stuff is friendly but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, it was not wow and there are cooler and cozier coffee shops in the area

A fantastic place for who love coffee. One of my favourite cafe in Helsinki. Nice atmosphere, friendly staffs, moisture banana cake. I tasted a cup of cappuccino, a cortado, V60 and bought some bean too. Everything was really good. Definitely recommend.
