This bar and caffe in Piazza Sant‘Oronzo is one-stop-shop for local sweet and savory snacks like pasticciotti and rustici. There are better places to find both, but Alvino offers convenient quality.

We stopped by while walking around Lecce and we’re so glad we did. We tried some local specialties and everything was delicious. Finished off with gelato, which was honestly one of the best we’ve had. Friendly service and a lovely spot to take a break — highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Nice spot for a break — perfect for coffee and some local sweets. It was a bit cloudy when we visited, so we decided to grab a few treats to take away. Still a lovely little stop!

Great choice of deserts! Tried some, and they were all great, especially little canolli. Also, very good coffee. Quite full, but managed to get a table inside fairly quickly

A Lecce classic. We had two caffe leccese and one rustico (9 EUR in total). Both the coffee and the rustico were really good. The coffee was a bit strong (I like it that way though) and the rustico had much more bechamel and less mozzarella than others, which was a positive aspect for me but it depends on taste. It is a bit on the pricey side but considering the location (literally in the center of the main square) it makes sense.

DO NOT ENTER ! this place is dangerous, you might want to never leave !!!! If heaven had a coffee shop, it would be Caffé Alfino. I came for a quick caffeine fix… and ended up questioning all my life choices up until that moment. Why haven’t I been living here?! Their caffè leccese? Liquid poetry. Espresso meets almond milk and they fall in love in your mouth. With lots of ice, I don’t even like sugar in my coffee, but every sip of this coffee sends me to heaven. I tried caffè lecchese from another place… no comparison. This one by faaar the best. And the sweets? Oh, the sweets. I don’t know what kind of wizardry is happening in that kitchen, but one bite in and I was ready to write a love letter to a pastry. I almost proposed to a fruttone salentino. The staff are so friendly, I’m convinced they’re trying to adopt me. Honestly, if they offered me a loyalty card or a room upstairs, I’d say yes. Highly recommend. 12/10. Will return. Might never leave.

We decided to have breakfast here because it looked like they offered local products. Nice terrace right next to an amphitheater, homemade pastries, really good coffee, and quick service. Very local, exactly what we were looking for. We’ll definitely come back if we’re in the city again.

Had heard great reviews of this place and it did not disappoint. The location is great with fantastic views of the piazza. The selection of desserts out here is huge. The place is renowned for its pasticciotti and Lecce almond coffee. The former did not disappoint - Nutella, custard and many more flavours. The Sicilian cannolo was equally good and so were the savoury dishes - Rustico leccese and rustico vegano. Great place for a break before continuing the walk around the beautiful city of Lecce

Google
Great spot in a major place in the centre of Lecce. I strongly recommend to get breakfast there, pasticciotti e caffè leccese. The typical salty snack are also very good and they are vegetarian options. Only con: if you plan to eat there, you should know that it’s usually crowded and the service is very slow.

Yelp
We loved the pastries here, but the thing I loved the most was the rustica, which is basically like an inside out pizza inside of a pastry crust. Definitely will be one of our first stops next time we're in Lecce.

Yelp
WARNING! Do not go in here if you have a sweet tooth.....I warned you. This is where pastry turns into pornography. All we had was gelato but, it was tempting.
