I guess it always depends what you‘re usually used to or it was just a bad day, but I found the coffee (the espresso in particular) to be quite bitter. Maybe I should have tried the cappuccino. So not my favorite unfortunately.
The brownies were a 5/5 though and so was the lovely staff with whom we had a nice conversation. This plus the amazing location and view still make this a nice spot and is worth 3.5-4/5. :-)

Thank you Dominick for the very lovely and much needed hot chocolate on the top of Malin Head, you were very kind to my 3 wee girls - they got some marshmallows which was a super hit, shout out to Cara who was so nice and patient with my girls and even let them help make a hot chocolate, very enjoyable experience highly recommend 😁😁

As a Star Wars fan, I HAD to explore this area. It is so remote and beautiful.. but what really surprised me was to find coffee being served in the middle of nowhere! Well, my husband had a lovely latte and I had a vanilla steamer... served with delicious tray bakes! It was just so unexpected! BTW, there are toilets available also!

Wasn't sure what to expect from a coffee van at a tourist spot like Malin Head but this coffee was delicious and the freshly baked goods were really tasty too, everything was reasonably priced imo and the person who served me was very nice. A lovely way to take in the sights up there 🙌

After following the Inis Eoghain 100 circuit, we make it to the top of Malin head. Also known as Banba's Crown.
It's dreary, cold, wet and windy. A fresh hot coffee now would be good.
So to my surprise when we found a coffee truck at the very top, I was a very happy bunny indeed.
The man running the show was a gent and at 1.60 EUR for an americano, it was mighty good value. And he filled the insulated cup I handed him right to the top.
Five stars.
