Caffé Buondí

In the neighborhood with a little extra time for brunch. We enjoyed the breakfast "lasagna," salmon toast, a smoothie, and the pistachio cappuccino. All of the food was great. The service was friendly, and the menu was so unique. We would definitely stop by again if we were in the neighborhood.

Was in area and wanted to try a new place. Very pleasant experience at Caffé Buoundi. Very chill but busy atmosphere, relaxing as well. Available seating at bar top and dining area I had the Soup and Half Panini special, with Soup of Day choice,Ribolita. I had the Miura panini featuring tomato basil spread on grilled artichokes. Both very delicious. Wait staff was very welcoming and attentive, and even though prices are on high end I think they are justifiable for quality of their product and service.

Loved their Sunday brunch 😍 Their frittata’s totally lived up to the hype. I ordered Monica and my friend got an Anna. Menu is definitely very intriguing, they did a wonderful work with the names too. I tried their speciality dark chocolate and pistachio latte, it had a delicious nutty flavour to it with a texture of hot chocolate. Special mention to our server Joly, she was very very detail oriented and took a great deal of time in explaining their menu.

The place is nice and beautiful. Decorated w Italian soccer shirts and the menu is extensive many options. Food was ok. Service kinda slow even when we went at 1:30pm but definitely I’ll be back

Very contemporary feel to the place. Felt like an upscale Italuan breakfast place with lunch options after 11am. Our server Jolie was a breath of fresh air and very welcoming. The food was delectable and yummy. They have kept things simple yet have crepes and French toast, avocado toast and some interesting drinks. Loved it... definitely going back!!

Caffe Buondi is a brunch lover's dream! I recently visited this charming spot and was blown away by both the espresso and the food. The espresso was rich and aromatic, definitely one of the best I've had in a while. As for the food, I ordered a savory crepe, and it was simply amazing. The crepe was perfectly cooked, filled with fresh ingredients, and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere of the cafe is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a leisurely brunch. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall wonderful experience. Additionally, there's ample parking available, making it convenient to visit even during busy times. I can't wait to return and try more from their menu!

Came in a little late around 115p as they close at 230p, was thankful they got us in and never felt rushed. Food was stellar. The atmosphere was really fun too. Their espresso machine was down but the drip coffee and iced tea was great. Can only imagine how good the drinks are if the food was this good. Almond croissant was very good.

I tried Caffè Buondi for the first time and was really impressed. The space is really charming and thoughtfully decorated, which makes it a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a meal. I ordered the Andretti crepe and it was excellent. The combination of chicken, leeks, and brie worked so well, and the horseradish mayo was the perfect flavoring. It added just the right amount of kick and tied everything together. I also had the bicerin, which was incredibly creamy and smooth. The flavors were rich without being too heavy, and it felt like a special drink you don't usually find anywhere else. Great first visit and I'll definitely be back.

There's a lot to unpack for this restaurant. The vibes were all over the place. On one hand, it was industrial and modern. On the other hand, it was upscale and almost gourmet passing. They had cloth napkins but played 2010s pop music loudly. I was unsure what to make of it, haha. But, if you're gonna charge me almost $20 for eggs, I don't really want Rihanna's "Umbrella" blasting while I'm trying to enjoy it and have a conversation. The espresso is fine, a little bitter. For the price, I would have liked for it to be smoother. The frittata was fine. I had to heavily season it at the table. I enjoyed the side greens quite a bit. I think it was my favorite part. I'm not sure if it was because I was getting over a sickness, but the dressing did start to burn my throat a touch. I didn't try the toast (more on that later), and the english muffin was slightly cold. Now for the part of the review that is the major point of why I probably wouldn't come back (in order of why). The weirdest things were happening with the service. First, the team lead kept pacing around the restaurant and dining area, which felt weirdly like she was patrolling. It definitely made it feel like you were back at school with staff making sure you were on good behavior. Second, they had messed up my order. Which is fine, but the way they handled it was really odd. Instead of adding the english muffin, they had me move everything around on a plat and put the toast onto a separate plate they brought out. It was a very awkward thing to do. They were staring at me the whole time and then brought the toast back to the kitchen. I'm not sure what they did with it... Third, I wasn't even given a cafe menu when she was taking our coffee orders. I had to ask to borrow it from my mom because I wasn't sure where she was seeing the options, haha. Lastly, we noticed on the way out that there was a self-serve coffee bar area. As it was out first time here, it would have been nice to be informed if there was unlimited refills, since we ordered off the cafe menu instead. Also, just a little fun fact. I'm local to southern Indiana, and noticed they got their meats from a butcher local to my area! I thought that was really cool, and would love to see more places use local farmers.

The food is upscale, delicious and fresh with Italian inspired favors that meld together. Service was mixed. We were not greeted by the hostess who was preoccupied with a manager, but Maria, our server was awesome and attentive. We sat at the marble counter. The dining room was packed mid week. Maria checked on us frequently. I had the half panini and soup combo. The Miura panini was absolutely delicious with fresh veggies and spices, and left me wanting more. The corn chowder was delicious and hearty. My husband had the Caesar Salad with half Stadale panini. He raved about the freshness and quality of the salad and liked his panini that was filled with meat. The beautiful dining room is unbelievably loud - the acoustics are terrible. We really couldn't have a conversation because of the noise. My ears were ringing. Parking can be challenging. We were able to find a spot this visit but other visits we could not find a spot.

Caffe Buondi is a perfect choice for brunch. Surprisingly, what really stands out to me is how good their plain black coffee is! They brew lavazza coffee and they must take great care in the process. The food is really great too and offers a wide selection for different dietary needs. My group had gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian diners and all were happy. I had the specialty Laura Frittata at one point and it was delicious! I've eaten at the bar by myself and I've dined with a group. I have always had great service from kind and helpful people. I will be back!

Caffe Buondi is a great spot with great vibes. Specializes in breakfast/brunch but you can also grab lunch here. Classic European-style cafe. They don't take reservations and it gets crowded quickly, so you'll want to plan ahead. There is a nice little waiting area near the self serve coffee bar. If you like croissants, this place has a great one. They can be ordered a la carte so go ahead and get one when you order drinks -- you won't be disappointed. I ordered the Ornella and a Banana Biscoff Crepe (one of the daily specials). The banana biscoff crepe was the best crepe I've ever had. The Ornella is a type of Frittata (think quiche). It was pretty good and had a savoriness that complemented the sweetness from the crepe. The service was a bit slow, but I'm wondering if that is part of the European vibes. Overall, the food was tasty and we would definitely come back.

Our first time in. This was recommended by friends. There was about a 30 min wait on Sunday. Our server was responsive to a friends allergies and she check a couple products they get in frozen for possible allergens. Which was great because the breakfast potatoes had sunflower oil in them. Food was good zero complaints. I got a savory crepe with eggs sausage and bacon. I'd get it again. Everyone else got a BYO fritada. A bit more expensive then like Broken Egg but kinda on par with Cafe Patachou.

Caffe Buondi is quite the brunch place! I've moved from Carmel for over 12 years, so I didn't even know this shopping plaza was around here. When I found Caffe Buondi, I was quite excited to try it!! The frittatas are so good! I've tried frittatas at other places, and it's very dry and dense. These are fluffy and tasty. It has the right amount of seasoning and is definitely something that I could get again. We got the Ornella and Monica frittatas; both fantastic. We also ordered the Ascari. It's not just a regular breakfast sandwich; it is quite perfectly balanced! Everything about it was soo delicious. The Vegano Bowl was iffy for me, but when I tasted it, I was pleasanty surprised how nice it was. I am not a fan of quinoa, and I loved it! The ambiance is nice. Decorations are trendy and modern. The service could have been better, but the food made up for it!

I love eating at Cafe Buondí first of all because of the design and also bc the food and service is outstanding! Love you can grab a cup of coffee while you first arrive (cups and coffee are ready for your sips), the menu is varietal and the lattes are delish! It's an all a round great experience. Parallel Design group gave this place its own affair so go check it out! Unique in design food and flair!

This is a cute and snazzy little cafe that you will find in a strip mall. Being that it is located in a strip mall, there is tons of parking available. There is an adequate amount of seating available. You will find a lounge area with couches in the front of the cafe, in front of the window, to sit and enjoy. The cafe serves only breakfast until 11AM, at that time they then start to serve lunch as well. They have smoothies, wines, mimosas, coffees and juices to drink. They have some unique breakfast foods called Buondi Creations, along with potatoes, bacon, oats, greens, eggs, crepes, french toast , pancakes and waffles. The staff there was very friendly. Our server was pretty good. Very attentive and friendly. I ordered the oats, with some greens and a Mango Tango smoothie. My smoothie came out right away and was delicious. It took about 10 minutes for me to get my food and it was equally as good. The oats come in the shape of a patty and are covered with blueberries. I really liked it. This is a hip little cafe with some delicious food and a lot of personality. I Recommend checking this place out whether you are going solo or meeting friends.

Delicious place for brunch on a weekday. Walked in and was immediately seated. The pistachio hot beverage was so good - I can't remember exactly what it was but it had real custard in it. The French toast was great to share while I had a skillet for my main meal.

I LOVE "Caffé Buondí"! I've been coming here for a couple years and have always enjoyed their cappuccinos and brunch food. Today I brought a friend for breakfast and we both enjoyed the food and ambience! It feels very chic and clean. Our server was kind and quick with everything! I ordered a frittata and it came out with mozzarella cheese instead of goat cheese, but our server was very kind about it and had the chef correct it without making me feel bad, I really appreciate that! Overall, this place has some of the best cappuccinos around and delicious food that makes you feel good.

We scheduled a gals brunch here for a Sunday morning and loved it!! It was busy, but we were seated shortly after arriving. The atmosphere was fun and inviting and our server was very kind and was happy to walk us through the menu. We also ordered mimosas - the raspberry blueberry was amazing! They are a bit pricier than your normal casual breakfast spot but for the most part, worth it. We will be back!!

Drip coffee is pretty good, but don't miss some of the to-order items. Service is generally excellent, and the specials include smoothies, Frittata and sweet features of the day. Have eaten there at least a dozen times - other than some unmelted Brie in a crepe, and some "overly crispy" bacon (it was burnt and replaced without issue) no misfires.

Lovely brunch spot in Carmel! Love the cozy cafe vibes. This place gets packed on the weekends, so get there early or expect to wait for a bit! The parking lot was PACKED on a Saturday morning. I can see why it's packed - everything we ate was so delicious I gobbled it up before I even got a picture. Definitely get the Rafa (breakfast lasagne -- just try it!!). The Andretti crepe was tasty and filling and generously filled. Upgrade to a side of roasted potatoes! We also got the lemon mascarpone waffles to share, and they were the perfect sweet end to the meal! So crunchy on the outside but chewy and soft on the inside! The service was great! Our waitress was super helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend!

Was in the area for an appointment at IU across the street. We were early, and we're gonna grab breakfast at McDonald's, but I saw the cafe and decided on this instead. We decided to dine, and we're seated at a booth. The cafe is bright and airy and not too loud, and the temperature is perfect. Some places crank their A/C way high during the summer months and it can get chilly, but that was not the case this time. My daughter wanted a breakfast sandwich but the options on the menu didn't meet her needs so after talking yo our server she got the nostalgic eggs which is everything she would get in a sandwich and a side of potatoes. The food and service were good. For those who don't want a latte, they have brewed coffee in pots near the from that are self-service. Definitely would dine here again if I'm in the area.

The food was amazing! I didn't realize how authentic this restaurant was. The coffee was really good! Coffee was not bitter. I tried the Andretti Crepe which had Brie, chicken, Leek, onion, and horseradish sauce. It was a delicious savory breakfast! The mixed greens was good but I swear there was a teeny eye drops worth of dressing on it. I expected lite dressing but it was very lite. My husband did the build your own frittata. It was really good! Very hot all the way through and the texture was not spongey like some frittatas are. He subbed the potatoes as his side and they were really good. It's also really cute inside. Definitely has the vibe of an Italian cafe especially with the bar. Overall great experience! Have already recommended to some of my Italy loving friends.

I love this spot! The espresso is absolutely delicious and it's perfect every single time. The restaurant is cute and could be good for business meetings or gatherings among friends. It's in a very popular area as well so it's easy to pop in after a haircut or workout class. The food is delicious. I've tried a few different items but I can't choose a favorite. I really enjoy the crepes. I did have one bad service experience here when ordering takeout but it didn't stop me from coming back because it's been perfect every other time.

Been here a couple of dozen times and the food is always superb. Never had an issue, service is great and they get you in and out quick when needed. Good coffee as well.

French brunch spot. My coworkers and I went for lunch to try it out. I got the salmon toast with roasted potatoes. I wish the baguette toasts were actually toasted cause it made it chewy and hard to eat but it was good. The potatoes were also good. You can get a coke products they just are. Not listed on the menu in case you want something other than alcohol or coffee. But cute brunch place to check out !

The crème brûlée latte was to die for!!! I also had the Nutella stuffed French toast. That was good but want to try the stuffed waffles next... Great ambiance!

Let's just say I already can't wait to go back! I had a hard time deciding what order because everything looked delicious. I settled on the Sophia Frittata, subbed the salad for potatoes, and added a plain croissant (which are house made). It was so delicious and fresh! The frittata was cooked to perfection with yummy goat cheese, sausage, and red pepper. The potatoes were crispy and seasoned well, and the croissant was super buttery and flakey, everything you want in a croissant. I also had a snickerdoodle latte that was on special and it was so good. I would go back for the latte and croissant alone. Our server, Andi, was great! She was interactive and made us feel welcomed. She was also very helpful with the menu and suggestions. The restaurant was elegant and cozy, and easy to get to.

This is such a wonderful spot for breakfast! I love the Italian breakfast selections and the variety of their menu. I decided on a vanilla latte and I tried a savory crepe- Nuvolari. It was absolutely delicious, and I'd highly recommend ordering it. The side salad was fresh and a nice pairing. Service was quick and friendly, and I enjoyed the atmosphere. I can't wait to come back! It will be a tough decision on if I order the same meal or try something new.

This place was amazing! We went on a Sunday morning for brunch and got seated right away. The service was good and fast. It's a very cute restaurant! The food was incredible. I did not eat a bad thing. They were out of the Nutella croissant but got a regular one with a side of Nutella and it was delicious. Best bagel I've ever had!

We live in northern Indiana. Every time we go to the Indy or Carmel area we eat here. The food is great the staff is always friendly and attentive. The morning shift manager is in need of a new shirt, please see that this gets done soon. we always enjoy ourselves at your eatery.

Mina was extremely rude. Now, when you walk in the place, the ambience is calm, the food smells delicious, it's warm and inviting. However, I sat down at the counter, and the server was rude, it was short, and her attitude left me with no desire whatsoever to enjoy what this restaurant has to offer. It's very highly rated, and the cleanliness and the smell of the restaurant indicated that it was going to be a pleasurable dining experience, but it absolutely wasn't. And it was all because of Mina's attitude. I don't expect every server to be extra warm and flowery and welcoming and inviting, but I do expect service to be professional. She was rude, and her comments were short. I did not feel welcomed whatsoever. I will not be back. It's only because of her poor attitude.

I visited Buondí after a very long time and I must say neither the coffee nor the quality of food has changed. For the orders I usually go for something fancy like a salmon bagel or a healthy bowl. But this time around I ordered an avocado toast and I must say I didn't regret it a bit. The avocado was so well spiced with hints of corn and lemony flavor in every bite. I totally enjoyed the side of greens which paired well with the avocado toast. My americano was just right with a good strong morning kick type of flavor and I was so happy I got back again to Buondí!

May need to try again another day, as my experience was probably affected by poor service. Food order was never put in by the server (they admitted), and then had to be made in a rush (server's words) because I only had 20 minutes before I had to leave (I arrived with 90 minutes to enjoy breakfast). Food was undercooked as a result. Surprised, too, to not really get an apology.

Other than being a little pricey, we stopped by here this morning and received great service from the gentleman, and the food was very good as well and a very nice and clean setting

I ordered carryout from this place and was shocked to see a fee added to my total. The receipt labeled it as "utensils," so I politely asked for it to be removed since I didn't need any. The response? I was told the charge wasn't just for utensils--it was for the box and the bag. Yes, they now charge you extra just to package the food you already paid for. This is absolutely ridiculous. Packaging is a basic part of any takeout order--passing that cost off to the customer as an extra fee is both greedy and misleading. At the very least, be transparent about what you're charging for.

I came in to order caffeine to go; since I'm a new coffee drinker & I've never been to Caffé Buondi before, I had a couple of questions. The barista at the bar wasn't busy, however, by her shrugs, short irritated responses, & "this is how the owner has me make it" brush off, it was clear that she had no interest in answering any questions or helping in any way other than taking an order. Disappointing as I support local places whenever possible & every coffee shop IS different. If it weren't for her the experience would've been far better. On a good note, the coffee was delicious, & everything I'd hope it'd be. I'd still try Caffé Buondi again to gauge if maybe this was a one-off experience & either try eating in or hope the same barista isn't taking to go orders...

The Nutella Crepe is my favorite. Can't go wrong. They have decent coffee and drinks. The bacon was not great. However, I love the interior of the restaurant. Super cute with a nice bar area!

I will definitely add this place to my brunch rotation. It came highly recommended with good reason. The salmon salad was the BEST salad I've ever eaten.

The food was terrible. The menu is very limited, so you would have expected, the items they do have, to be stellar. This was not the case. Too bad, location is good, building very nice. The wait staff was overwhelmed. They need help! The pastry and coffee shop, was a nice addition, but pastry looked stale and unappealing. I was going to take a roll home. I did not Sorry, you will have to do better.

I had the privilege of dining in at Cafe Buondí. I had the nostalgic egg with my eggs over medium, bacon(requested crispy) sourdough bread with cherry jam and their house potatoes(loved the flavoring of them!). I also had a scrumptious vanilla latte. I went with a friend and they ordered the make your own frittata. Which they relayed was delicious. It was enough food that we both took to go box's. The server was kind, thoughtful and always kept our drinks full. Would highly recommend and would visit again.

They make my all time favorite vanilla cappuccino! I love this restaurant so much. In an amazing part of Carmel. The staff is always lovely. Ambiance is fantastic.

This place was really good. I had a waffle and breakfast potatoes in here recently. Overall was really good breakfast food. It was really crowded but regardless our service was really good.

We went on a busy weekend and had about a 30 minute wait. The vibe was a bit chaotic. Our waiter was nice enough and we didn't have to wait long. Our food and drinks were just ok though. I might go again soon, but during the week to see if I have a different experience.

This place is located somewhere near 116th and Illinois and I'm sad to say I am just discovering it! What a great find!!! Although I didn't find it on my own I had a meeting but so glad it was chosen. Unfortunately I had just ate so I was not hungry but I will be back. I enjoyed a nice coffee, which is self help. I did order a specialty coffee and it was pretty good. The menu is full of all types of brunch options including a soup which sounds like it's on a daily rotation. I advice getting there early because it sounds like the soup can run out quick. There are also tons of types of pastries and pretty tasty croissant.

We tried this new to us Caffe for breakfast, they also serve lunch, breakfast is served all day. The restaurant is located in the Market District area with lots of shops around it. Its trendy decor fits right in with the area. Our server had lots of knowledge and went over the menu extensively with us. I tried The Niki crepe' with braised short ribs, it's a savory crepe with good flavor, I would have preferred a different cheese other than Brie and more meat, but it still tasted good. Hubs had a frittata called Monica which was full of veggies. He liked it along with the side of potatoes and toast. There were plenty of fancy coffee options and boozy options. They make a fresh juice daily that sounded delicious. We will definitely come back another time to try other dishes, lots to choose from.

Loved it! The service was fast and friendly, the food came out promptly, and everything was delicious. Their vegetable medley of cauliflower, sweet potatoes, Swiss chard, and caramelized onions may be the best vegetables I've ever eaten. The almond croissant was perfectly crispy, soft, buttery, and BIG. There was the right amount of almonds and almond paste - not to much and not too little. I can't wait to go back and try more from their menu. One thing - I was picturing an intimate feel to it based on descriptions from friends. It's not. There is a high ceiling and it's very airy. Absolutely nothing wrong with the vibe, just a heads up if you were expecting a cozy breakfast nook.

It can be difficult to find parking and the place can have a long wait time - especially on weekends - but once you are seated, the experience will be worth it. The breakfast menu has special Buondi creations as well as the classics, frittatas (similar to quiche without the crust), baked goods and variations on toast. Lunch items include soups, salads, a couple of pasta dishes and panini. The espresso drinks are delicious and they have a seasonally changing menu of hot beverages as well. On my most recent visit I ordered the Del Piero toast - scrambled eggs portobello, cheese, roasted peppers and truffle oil - it was the best thing I have ever had at Buondi.

Finally made it here! Super delish! You get your own bottomless coffee, they have lavAzza, which is one of my favorite coffees. I ordered a 'build your own' frittata- feta cheese, bacon, spinach, and red peppers with a side of vegetable medley which was seasoned to perfection. Fresh amazing ingredients. I only wish they had outdoor seating, and it's hard to hear your conversations because of how busy it is inside. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Caffé Buindí is a delicious and delightful dining destination. Open for breakfast and lunch. Frittatas and greens. Crepes both sweet and savory. Lavazza coffee drinks beautifully crafted. House made croissants. Paninis. Seasonal and otherwise mimosas are delicious. Jolee was our server. She gave us a complete breakdown of the menu as well as stories. She was careful to make sure everything was deliciously prepared and we were prepared for what we would be served. She is wonderful! The cafe atmosphere is comfortable. Grab a cup of coffee while you wait. Eat at the bar, semi booth, or a table. If only they could have outdoor seat. Seats are first come. The parking lot is shared.

Another amazing brunch spot in Carmel, Indiana! The food here is spectacular and very unique compared to other places in the area. The coffee is amazing and they offer dairy free options. Our server was great and had great recommendations even though it sounds like you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It's a classy and casual atmosphere whether you are grabbing breakfast after a long night out on Saturday morning or looking for a dress up and get together with friends. There's plenty of parking out front too which is a nice change from other places that you may have to park on the street or walk from a garage. This place is a must try if you are in the area!
