Very cozy and charming place. The location is great—very quiet and peaceful. The menu mainly features meat specialties. The food is incredibly delicious, beautifully presented, and satisfying to the senses.

We had a great meal – the food was good and the service staff were friendly and quick. We didn’t have to wait at all. We visited on a Thursday afternoon and really enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere, good drinks, and a comfortable noise level.

This place is a vibe. Right next to the cathedrals in Piazza Vecchia in Bergamo Alta, tucked away in the corner is a nice caffe that can get busy at times. Great for a brioche and espresso in the morning or aperitivo as the sunlight dances along the facades as the day concludes, this place is great to leisurely spend your time, either by yourself, a loved one, or friends.

Came in the morning, very crowded inside but we sit outside. Very nice spot with great coffee and waitresses who not only speak English but also know the history and know how to do a small talk. Food was tasty, apple pie was moist, can’t complain over tost with cheese and ham. The biggest attribute was location.

We were disappointed. Based on the reviews, we expected much more. While the food came quickly, we waited far too long for the bill and felt ignored. Classic tourist trap — staff avoids eye contact and the service feels rushed and uninterested. Next time we’ll grab something to go and enjoy the city instead.

We had drinks with complimentary snacks. No restrictions even if we were not having dinner at dinner time.

I wasn't impressed by the food quality, but it's not a place you'll regret visiting. An average place, but I honestly think there aren't many better options for eating in the old town. Great location and open all day. If you need a quick decision and a bite, it's not a bad choice. Staff was fine.

Stopped off for a coffee to shield from the rain, the cappuccino was perfect and service was great!
