What a great space for a coffee shop. We only stopped in for a coffee and pastries on our way out of town. Would have loved to try the pizzas as they look great. The twice-baked chocolate croissant was phenomenal. Highly recommend

Google
A local gem. Fantastic service, great decor, and really good food. Funny thing is that I visited there from Seattle and the 2 out of 3 coffee options they had were from Seattle roasters. Would definitely go back if I were in Missoula again.

Google
Incredibly beautiful setting and the pork belly sandwich was the best I have ever had! My iced vanilla latte with Oat milk was the best one in Missoula!!

Martin LaVenture

Google
Great food, excellent service. We especially enjoyed the outdoor feel when the large patio doors are open.

Google
Local source upscale food.. I have been many times for breakfast or brunch. Great beer selection, usually rare craft or premium import on offer, wide selection. Very open seating which can be a little noisy, but there are sound deadening panels high up in the main dining area which help. Other seating areas are cozier and there is outdoor table options in warm weather. Happy staff from what I have seen.

Google
Classy, tasty, fresh food for the sophisticated pallette. Very impressive wine selection, house-made caesar dressing was incredible. Sasha was amazing as a server!

Levi Bessette

Google
Our waitress was the kindest most attentive server I have ever experienced. She went what I consider above and beyond to make out visit as enjoyable as possible. The food was outstanding and environment fantastic.

Dustin Jones

Google
Good vibe, large seating area. Sandwiches were the best I had in Missoula and close to university, highly recommend.

Yelp
We've dined here a few times and have enjoyed our meals. My husband loves their Osso Buco and I always order a pasta. IMO, this is the best place to go in Missoula for pasta when you need a fix. Service tends to be timely and the food is always hot. I love the interior of Florabella!

Ashley S.

Yelp
It was so incredible, my hubs and I came here twice while on vacation. He got the bolognese both times, I got this special my first time that was a truffle risotto (it would have been better with just a little bit of salt, kind of bland for me), the pesto fungi pizza that was really delicious, the meatballs that were tasty and very hearty (must share or eat as a meal by itself), as well as the arugula salad that was packed with flavor and the tiramisu that was a shining star. Service was attentive without being pushy, wine selection is fine Italians (speaking my language- pairs well with the heavier Italian food). We paid $160 without tip our first meal with just us two and $120 second time. A pretty pricey place, but I would recommend 10/10 for flavor, presentation and service. Tables are pretty close together as well so if you don't want to eat and be involved in someone's conversation, arrive when they open for dinner dining during the week. Server mentioned weekends are very packed and reservations are recommended.

Yelp
thought it was okay when i went. i did go when they first opened tho so maybe that's changed. i think i got a steak, super expensive for a little portion. i miss cafe dolce. but the service is great and restaurant is insanely gorgeous. i need to try again soon

Yelp
From the moment you walk in, the interiors are beautiful and inviting. We made quite a last minute reservation on OpenTable so we were sat at the bar. But for a foodie, I actually found it very entertaining to see how the food makes it from the kitchen to the pass and onto the dining tables. Ambience is definitely very young and hip without feeling like they try to hard. No obnoxiously loud music or anything. This place was easily one of the most delicious places I've ever eaten at. It's my first time in Montana so I wasn't sure what to expect, but this place wowed for sure. My boyfriend and I tried one of every course except pizza on the menu to get a really good taste of everything they had to offer and each one knocked it out of the park. Prices are reasonable for the quality of ingredients and attention to detail as well. Portion sizes are generous enough to share as well if you're not ravenous. Service was a bit slow for a while because there were a few large parties while we were dining. Our server had to apologize more than a few times for the wait but it was all honestly water under the bridge after we started eating. My boyfriend claims that the burnt basque cheesecake was the best cheesecake he's ever eaten in his life, so safe to say we left very very satisfied. If I lived in Montana i'd definitely be back in a heartbeat!

Yelp
We came here to carb load before the half marathon. I made a reservation ahead of time and they seated us right away. We shared the olives and they hit the spot. We also got bread with some spreads. Also good. My pasta dish - the bolognese - was filling without making me too full. I wasn't a fan of the rose wine I got - it just wasn't good. Cool ambiance inside and server was friendly and prompt. It's in a neighborhood not far from downtown. A nice Italian spot to try!

Randy P.

Yelp
Love the decor and atmosphere and staff is really good about taking care of their patrons. Meat and cheese board was delicious. Pizzas were okay but someone else might think they are the greatest. Pasta was not over cooked and sauces were flavorful but not overwhelming in spice. Great selection of wines but limited on beer and cider. I would recommend this place and look forward to returning and trying some of the other items.

Yelp
We'd like to Thank Ben, Kaya and the Flora Bella Team for hosting our Baby Shower! We had a ball, the restaurant was beautiful and the service, so kind and accommodating. Hold your shower's and parties there! Great space!

Wendy S.

Yelp
Amazing restaurant. Love the pasta here and the lime yogurt desert! Service is always great.

Bob L.

Yelp
The visual of this restaurant alone makes this a place to see. On top of that, the food is outstanding and offers a unique take on Italian food. The wine bar is amazing, as is the variety of the wines. As great as the ambiance and food is, the service. We never felt rushed, and our server Alcyone made our anniversary dinner such a special night. Alcyone made our visit so special and was so knowledgeable as to the wines available as well as every item on the menu. She is such a treasure, and we cannot thank her enough for her service.

Asher J.

Yelp
Great ambience, friendly helpful staff. Food was fair but we didn't eat a whole lot. The rapini felt a little over cooked and lacked the crunch I like in green veggies but the basque burnt cheesecake was great.

AY Y.

Yelp
Just delightful. Great food, impeccable service and atmosphere made this anniversary dinner very memorable. It's also still affordable and the bill won't ruin your dinner. An absolute gem in Missoula.

Tiana D.

Yelp
My partner and I were visiting from Portland, and looking for a place to get breakfast after we had just camped the night before. We were searching on our phones for somewhere in downtown Missoula when we passed Florabella on our way up, and we were amazed by how much the architecture of the building stood out! We turned around, and the ambience/indoor decor was even more impressive. The staff were both incredibly friendly and personable. For breakfast, we got the breakfast sandwich and calzone, which were both delightful. We only saw two people working, and our food came out in no time! Highly recommend visiting. Quite the hidden gem!

Bill T.

Yelp
actually a 4.5 star. 4 of us ate dinner here. We enjoyed the ambiance--the place is beautiful inside. Outdoor seating too but it was raining. We also got the chance to learn some italian (thank you google translate). Our waitress helped with the menu as well as wine choice. We started with 3 different appetizers: Burrata (cheese and assortment of veggies--very tasty), Rapini=broccolini--mixed reviews--I thought it was too bitter, others really liked it and finally the carne crudo (raw lamb)-I loved it--others were a bit squeamish. We then got an order of bread with black garlic and lavender honey butter---outstanding. Entrees we shared were short rib (excellent), spaghetti w/ clams--very good and Cavatelli (pasta) for our gluten free vegetarian who ate every bit and smiled. excellent meal

Yelp
This review is for the cafe part of Florabella. 1) They serve Black Coffee Roasting - which is in my opinion the best coffee in Missoula. 2) They make their own pastries. - Their pastry Chef comes from Bozeman's Wild Crumb. Wild Crumb was a James Bread semi-finalist last year. 3) Modern, hip interior design. Better than the old place that was here thus far... I have yet to try the dining here however from my experience thus far this could potentially be the 1st real restaurant in Missoula that offers exceptional food. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Sabrina C.

Yelp
Returned to try their dinner and was not disappointed. The server was very knowledgeable about the wine selection as well as food substitutions for certain menu items. Everything I had, once again, was delicious. I'd highly recommend making a reservation beforehand to ensure seating especially if dining on the weekend. The beautiful sculpture in the center helps to alleviate loud echos from people talking which makes for a pleasant dinner atmosphere. Only recommendation would be to update the online menu on their website as it does not accurately depict what is currently available.

Yelp
It's wonderful to have a nice Italian place in Missoula! We came early on a Thursday and it was busy. Ashley and the rest of the staff took great care of us. The room is very nicely decorated with lots of good touches. We started with the salad and the burrata. Both were excellent. The salad is lightly dressed and full of flavor. The Bucatini was also excellent. The sauce was a perfect complement to the langoustina. The beef osso buco had a great mix of flavors, however the beef was somewhat tough and fatty. The wine list is decent with some good choices. The one thing that kind of spoiled the mood of the meal was the music. For some reason they were playing a mindless techno track. It sounded like the background you hear in a movie scene. set in a bar. The room is quite noisy anyway and the music was just not the right choice. When you're serving food that brings warmth and a smile it should not be accompanied by repetitive, soulless noise. It would be great to have Italian or French pop, light classical or something better suited to the mood.

Lynda W.

Yelp
Dinner was SO disappointing. Snapper was highlighted fish entree. The skin was crispy, but you had to turn over the filet to "cut into the fish" with a knife. Tough, unflavored, and served with a 'PILE" of shaved fennel. Wow. What happened? Someone who cooks this fish special should be trying it first. When do you need a knife to cut a fish fillet?! Good luck.

Yelp
Fantastic service with some of the highest caliber dining in town. Its a beautiful clean unique restaurant with high ceilings and an awesome layout. New owner did a fantastic job. Menu is smaller but diverse and the have perfected each dish on it, and it new from our last visit so they must rotate out dishes. Fantastic place, only complaint which is a small one and just my own little opinion.. some of the tables are a little close together. So you are definitely feeling the presence of the couple sitting next to you :-)

Matthew B.

Yelp
Food is mediocre, ambience is obnoxious, and this is all because a restaurant group has decided to flood Missoula with variations of the same theme, over and over and over again. The produce is poor because the restaurant group is spreading their ideas and effort too thinly.

St. P.

Yelp
It's a great place and a bit of an extravagant experience. The design and ambience is amazing and unique - really lovely. But so are the upscale menu items and wine list. That comes unfortunately at its price! The service is classy and never too much, probably depends on the day and time - they can be super busy and that slows things down. I really enjoyed my dishes and like to be surprised by the twist a restaurant can put on things - that keeps it very interesting. If you expect American Italian then don't go here! Totally support this business and their philosophy.

Alix E.

Yelp
Food was amazing, great atmosphere, and great service! A great alcohol and dessert list and a cute cafe open during the day. Very high quality.

Raean B.

Yelp
What a great addition the Missoula food scene! Everything and everyone was just as it should be. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Tasty food but pretty much it's just a coffee and sandwich shop for lunch. I was expecting a more traditional and complete Italian restaurant.

Heather M.

Yelp
I brought my son to Florabella on 8/1/23 for his 34th birthday celebration, and we both really enjoyed our evening. We started with cured meats and cheese & an arugula salad. For entrees, my son had the sea bass and I had the crispy octopus, both of which were delicious and. It was just the right amount of food for the price. The atmosphere was perfect, and our server was attentive and friendly. We also listened to him handle an unreasonably disgruntled customer with grace. I will definitely be back!

Leticia L.

Yelp
Food was delicious! Attendant wasn't as attentive as we would have liked .... Ambiance is a bit noisy... The restaurant is nicely decorated... Overall we enjoyed our dinner !

Debra M.

Yelp
Last night my husband and I had the most amazing dinner at Florabella. We've lived in Missoula for over 40 years and my husband was involved in building restaurants here for many years. The burrata appetizer was delicious and creamy. Our octopus and bean dish was world class and one of the very best meals I've ever had anywhere in Montana. Their chef Charles is truly gifted and we feel lucky he is working in our town. Can't wait to go back with friends. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly and it truly was a memorable experience. Thank you, from David (Mac) and Debra McClain

Sydni G.

Yelp
Been wanting to try this place for quite some time and it was well worth it. Beautiful interior and delicious food. Be aware, online and over the phone, they do not take reservations for parties smaller than 6, however, many groups of two and three wales in and said they had a reservation. Was about a 30 minute wait for two around 7:15. Will be eating here again!

Sam B.

Yelp
We had the best time at Florabella for our wedding anniversary weekend! The food and drinks were impeccable, friendly service, and gorgeous patio. Loved the focus on simple, quality ingredients treated well. We were also really impressed with the prices. Just what we needed for our getaway - can't wait to come back next time we're in Missoula!

Keriann E.

Yelp
I made a 5:45 PM dinner reservation to have dinner here the night before the Missoula Marathon. It was incredibly disappointing to wait over 45 minutes for our appetizer, which was bread (not freshly baked) and butter to arrive. Our party of two spent over two hours in the restaurant to eat bread, a pizza, and a pasta dish. The other patrons in the restaurant all experienced the same extremely slow service. While our server did apologize and say the kitchen was slammed, the dining room wasn't even at full capacity, so there must be a serious understaffing issue or lack of preparation if the kitchen couldn't handle the service. The food was fine, but definitely not worth the wait.

Marisa M.

Yelp
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here on Saturday night! I was drooling over the decor and atmosphere!!! Wow it sure is gorgeous inside the restaurant! We had the bread and butter and marinated olives to start! The butter was amazing! Hard to pick a favorite between the lavender and black garlic. The olives were great too! For entrees we had the angnolotti and the New York strip! We devoured both plates...so delicious! It's nice to have a good Italian option here in Missoula! I will definitely be back to Florabella!

Steve L.

Yelp
We went on Sunday night. The setting is very pleasant. The service is good. It was a very nice experience. Why a four? The food was a 5. The value was a 3. Really as simple as that. And I want to be fair. The meal was exquisitely prepared the service was top shelf. But an Italian restaurant charging $7 for six slices of bread with lavender and black garlic butter (separately). Not even the really high end restaurants in this niche in Detroit, Chicago and LA charge for bread. It was really good food. As good as if not better than Ciao Mambo, the latter is a better value. I would recommend and will eat there again.

Emily B.

Yelp
The owner of Florabella is an amazing very kind understanding individual who is a native to Missoula. Talking with him and hearing his devotion to not only his team but his family has inspired me to spread more good in the world. I wish Florabella the amazing future it deserves! 10/10 recommend.

Dani G.

Yelp
We arrived early for our 6pm reservations and were able to get seats at the bar. Lovely staff, and many stop by visits by the manager to be sure we were well cared for and if we needing anything! That was a very nice touch in addition to attention we received from staff serving us! Also the managers recommendation of the Tintero sparking wine could not have been a better choice! Our dinner included the amazing bread and butter (hell yes black garlic butter!), pate, burrata and the cavatelli pasta as an entre. Everything we ordered was very tasty and came out of the kitchen super quick. Highly recommend a visit. We did see the wonderful mural on the wall and loved it. Seems a lot of pride in the food. Enjoyed our dinner and wine selection thoroughly. Will be back very soon!

Sandra V.

Yelp
Great service. Food was very delicious and the ambiance was very nice. Great place for a date or a nice place to be with your girl friends to catch up on life and just enjoy food.

Boy T.

Yelp
Get the zucchini toast! Love this place already. Can't wait to try some other items. Only thing that is missing is a nice Sunday brunch menu and bottomless mimosas

B D.

Yelp
This review is for the restaurant. 3.5 stars bumped up because they did a nice job renovating and everyone was very friendly. The food wasn't bad, but it lacked any deep flavor. And I agree with the other reviewer that pointed out that the bread and butter basket was tasty but there was way too much butter and not nearly enough bread. They did a good job reducing the noise in there without going overboard. We had a pleasant conversation and didn't feel like we had to yell. Side note, the seating was tight so we were sitting very close to the patrons on either side of us. The chairs weren't terribly comfortable.

J P.

Yelp
Great ambience and service. Although the menu is modest the food was very good. We plan to return soon!

Shaelyn C.

Yelp
Beautiful ambience. Friendly staff, good coffee. Just a little disappointed by the food.

Bev B.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant, wonderful service, delicious food. My only issue is the lack of vegetables on the menu.

Rowdy B.

Yelp
I really wanted to like it, over priced pasta, very loud, service was excellent went with my wife and daughters and there husbands, 2 people got the lamb Ragu, terrible 1 a pizza that looked very good, 2 langostino with pasta and 1 got a pasta that he liked. We also got 3 appetizers a coffee and 3 desserts, 2 beers and 2 glasses of wine, for that we paid $245 plus a tip, so a $300 night of below average food. Not including a babysitter. We will not be back unless we get a pizza.

Jack T.

Yelp
My wife and I had dinner there and it was a great meal. Our server was terrific. My wife is gluten free and our sever had the chef prepare a gluten free dish for her... my wife is not into the gluten free fad as she is gluten intolerant and gets quite ill if she eats gluten contained products. I had the strip steak and it was delicious. Their wine list was fairly extensive and we had a Chardonnay on the recommendation from our server. An enjoyable evening at Florabella all around. Give it a try... you will not be disappointed!!!

Kerry N.

Yelp
I really wanted to love it... and in many ways I did but.. there is a lot of room for improvement. When we arrived we were greeted immediately by our server with water but needed a moment to decide on drinks and apps (there were 6 of us). We waited almost 30 minutes for someone to come back, we had three people refill our waters no one asked if we needed drinks or apps. We finally asked the third who graciously took or drinks and apps order. Our server obviously had way too many tables but she was graceful, considerate and you could never tell she was overwhelmed... but I could see the mass amount of tables she was handling. I noted our forks and knives were switched from apps to dinner...it made sense at that moment for one of the reasons slowing service down. I would have rather had all of my silverware upfront and had a more timely service. I did note two parties took their food to go around us after waiting some time. The food: we ordered the Pate and bread & butter for starters.... We received 6 small slices of bread (for 6 of us) and a LOT of butter. We paid extra for another 6 slices. The pate came with 4 and more was needed for the amount of pate. Our main dishes included lamb ragu and butternut squash ravioli which were amazing. Our friends had the bucatini which arrived to the table barely warm, was bland and my friend refused to say anything, Other friends had the sea bass which I tried, it was sadly underwhelming and lacked flavor or any real sauce to help with the lentils and red pepper that accompanied it. Desert had two options we went with the chocolate pudding which was impressive but would like to see another not pudding style option. We love this space, we see the heart that was put in and want it to succeed... I have spoken with other friends who felt very similar. We hope this helps since we absolutely support these owners and love this building! Also, the esthetic and design were gorgeous absolutely loved being in the space.

Kayla O.

Yelp
The service and decor were very nice, but the meal was nothing to write home about. Although the place was beautiful, it was very loud and not quite the ambiance we were looking for. Meat and cheese was good though!

Samantha F.

Yelp
It's pretty pricey, for small portions of mediocre food. The menu is limited and pretentious, but the space is beautiful, especially the outdoor patio.

Blair W.

Yelp
Wow, this beautiful restaurant has filled the big shoes cafe dolce left behind. You walk in to a beautiful and romantic space with a stunning piece of art front and center. The servers were attentive as soon as I came in. It's such a treat to get to watch the chefs prepare your food via the semi-open kitchen, and you can tell they are professionals. I had the burrata and the pâté, both were delicious. I enjoyed two glasses of wine, they serve Italian primarily and their sommelier helped me choose a wine similar to those I've enjoyed in the past. I was relieved they seem to have fixed the acoustics the last space suffered from. My partner had the lamb pasta and it was also delicious. Can't wait to return for more handmade pasta, this town has needed good Italian for so long.

Lisa T.

Yelp
I cannot express how amazing our food was. It was hands down the best food I've had in Missoula. The plating was beautiful. The installation they have in the main dining room is stunning. Our server, the wonderful Katie Bell, was great. We made reservations to go again the second we got home. I would highly recommend getting a reservation as soon as you think about going. I've been telling all my friends, family, and clients to check it out. The only complaint I have is no foot rest at the counter seating. The menu is a little overwhelming only because we needed to google a lot of the menu but it's well worth it

Paul S.

Yelp
The farm cheese starter and buccatini with prawns and chanterelles were outstanding. Our server Adam is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and attentive. Missoula and its visitors are fortunate to have this restaurant available to them, including a friendly, walkable location from many parts of town.

Abby R.

Yelp
great food and great atmosphere! service was great as well - great owner, very passionate and personable!

D S.

Yelp
Nice space, great staff and service. But I was underwhelmed by the food. Nothing stood out (except the plain cheesecake). The rotini was over cooked and mushy, and the sauce just didn't have any life...not memorable at all. My wife had the special, which was slightly better, but again, just meh. The cheesecake was great but it's a plain, almost dry cheesecake, which we liked but others may not like. I'd definitely go there for appetizers and happy hour, it's a cool place, but the mains need work.
