Perfect spot for gelato or dessert. Great ambiance, friendly staff, and lots of options. They helped us pick from a big menu, and the portions were generous for the price. Highly recommend!

A great place to sit down for dessert, especially the local famous spaghetti-eis! Seating and atmosphere are great! We did not try the spaghetti-eis but did enjoy the lasagna-Eid. It is delicious and touches the spot! Next time, I will definitely try the ice cream pizza!!!

A wonderful place to have a special ice cream creation rather than a takeaway ice cone. This is my second time here in the past 6 months and the quality of food and service is consistently good. Well recommended stop at The Plays near Potsdamer Platz in Berlin.

I ordered the “lasagna” ice cream — nothing about it really looked or felt like lasagna 😅 but it was still delicious! Lots of fresh fruits and nicely layered flavors. A bit on the expensive side, but worth it for the taste.

Too expensive but good flavour, also doesn’t really taste like gelato just like ice cream.

Probably some of the most luxerious ice desserts you'll ever see. Prices are high, but you can really tell that its a caliber above regular icecream vendors. Go here if you want to impress someone.

I tried the Pistachio ice cream at Caffe e Gelato in Berlin. The ice cream has a strong pistachio flavour which was nice. It was also quite creamy. Overall, it'd be great if it was a bit more roasted flavour so I'd give it 8.5/10

My wife got the Eis Koffer and i got the exklusiva. Just a hair on the expensive side I think but it was very good. A unique treat Definitly worth checking out. Had a taste at the very end like those alcohol filled chocolates.

The food was disgusting, worst ice cream spot in Berlin by far. It was unclean and the staff was rude. Only come here if you like verbal abuse and have no taste.

Let me start off by saying that the gelato here deserves more than 5 stars! They have a wide selection of flavors and they all taste amazing. Out of the two flavors I got (tiramisu and berry yogurt), the berry yogurt (joghurt-waldbeer) was definitely my favorite! It has just the right amount of tart without being overwhelming. Now the service on the other hand was awful... They were so rude to us tourists/non-native speakers. We asked to try 2-3 flavors and they gave us so much attitude. One of the workers even didn't let my friend try a third flavor.. I honestly would've given this place one star if it wasn't for how good their gelato was.

My couchsurfering host recommended coming here so I rushed in excitement. When I saw the gelato, I knew I wasn't interested. I learned a few tips from a gelato making class I attended and this was an obvious do not consume place so I ended up ordering a pistachio ice cream sandwich. The ice cream in the center was vanilla flavored and half of it was coated with pistachio. The cookie was extremely dry - check out the picture. The dryness of the cookie made the ice cream taste even worse but I did enjoy the hidden jelly halfway in the middle of the ice cream sandwich.

Great place to take a break after sightseeing. Kids and adults would love thw menu. Serves food like pizza. Spaghetti. Lasagne. And carpaccio bit it's all made out of ice cream and fruit and chocolate. It's pretty busy but I was able to find a seat. Prices are fairly cheap. I got the spaghetti and it was great. Icecream to look like pasta with strawberry sauce whipped cram and white chocolate shavings to look like cheese. Very good Staff was great but they leave you alone unless u want something. I would come back. Lots of food pics to take.

Great gelato with beautiful presentation. Every flavor looks absolutely delicious and I wanted to eat all of them. I got the Bacci flavor, and my travel companion got the dulce de leche and both were very good. The caramel was my favorite, as things go when it isn't the one in your own cone. ;) Would come back if I'm in the area.

This is one of the most famous ice cream cafe in Berlin. My friends and I come here quite often. They offer many different kind of the ice cream and each all taste really good. The best part is that you don't need to worry about getting some weight, since all ingredients are made of organic food. Das ist ein des berühmtesten Eiscafés in Berlin. Meine Freunde und ich kommen sehr oft hierher. Sie bieten viele unterschiedliche Eise an. Nach meiner Meinung schmeckt es mir gut! Und keine Sorge wegen der Zutaten, denn sie sind alle biologisch hergestellt.

This is probably the best ice-cream parlor in town. Their ice-cream variations are breathtaking! They also have some rare flavors of ice-cream. Generally this place is highly recommended. The only downside: there're not outdoor seats.

was referred to this place by a fellow Canadian tourist. I must say this place had one of the best gelato's I ever had. I was in Berlin for almost a week and wish I found out about this place earlier. Very reasonable price, convenient location combined with awesome gelatos makes this place a must visit for every ice cream lover.

Ok ice cream (I tried tiramisu and hazelnut) but I found the staff to be quite rude and ignorant for non native speakers! I'm sure there are much better in Potsdamer or even in the nearby Mall of Berlin...

Short story: heaven-like-delicious ice cream creations, good Italian coffee and lots of sittings. It's rather a touristic place, but still, in my opinion, best in Berlin! Long story: Since I've been in Berlin for a while now (12 years) I saw this place developing. They have renewed their menu: made it bigger, ice cream creations more trickier and exclusive, got new furniture and design for the place. Ice cream to go costs a little bit more now, but it worth every penny. Ice cream: the quality is astonishing - so creamy and tasteful, no water or ice cubes in there :-) Love this huge variety. They serve best pistachio ice cream! For people who appreciate bio products is a good cafe as well. Location: can be a little bit crowded, that is why I really appreciate these saint morning hours, when you can enjoy your cappuccino with little ice snack, if you don't feel like eat a lot. Lots of sitting place - you can easily choose a desired one. By the way, they also serve nice sandwiches and toasts with tuna for those, who have a big hunger. Crepes are good too, specially with stawberries. No matter what people say about this cafe being overrated or touristic, or anything else - I love it, with no doubt. Keep coming here a lot! Specially in summer: get your ice cream to go and go have a walk in Tiergarten park. Ahhh...

Gelato extremely fantastic, but Manager extremely rude. He was irritated we wanted to taste different flavors. When I asked to try the chocolate chilli he said it was only chocolate, it still he relented and let me taste but was unhappy to do so. My wife did not ask for a taste due to his obvious irritation. We were the only customers, so he was not busy. We got two cones, €1.9 each; scoops about the size of a golf ball on a small sugar cone. He refused my credit card saying only €4s, I want cash. There are no signs depicting minimum purchase. Good product, overall poor service... don't recommend going here

When I arrived in Berlin, the two things I craved were döner and Spaghettieis. Luckily, I was referred to Caffe e Gelato for the second. If you are looking for a small, quiet German Eiscafe, then you are not looking for Caffe e Gelato. However, if you are looking for a popular hotspot to satisfy your wildest ice cream dreams, then go! It's located on the second floor of the Arkaden, near Potsdamer Platz. They have everthing from single scoop cones to Spaghettieis to 15 Euro Eis extravaganzas. I have been here three times and am always mesmerized by some of the creations that come out of the kitchen. It has been busy each time I have gone, but the wait isn't too bad, and if you have a sweet tooth it is well worth it! Considering it is ice cream, this place is slightly pricey but you are paying for the glitz. My Spaghettieis was 6 Euros, but you can get a Kinder size for 4 Euros.

There are SO MANY choices to pick from on the menu and their desserts are all so fun and delicious! Although there may be a line (it's so popular) there are tons of seats and such a fast turn over rate for customers. I'll never forget this place!

TERRIBLE - Would give zero star if it's an option. One of the worst services I have ever experienced, waitress had terrible attitude. Dropped dirty fork on my clothes and didn't even say sorry. When I asked for hot water, she brought me half a "sauce cup" of water...

this place has incredible food and ice cream. we got tea and strawberry shortcake and it was fantastic and priced well. even though our waitress didn't speak any English and it was hard for her to understand what we wanted, she still did a very good job. the tea was absolutely wonderful. if i ever came back to Germany, I would definitely go back here.

Great gelato place in Berlin! It was located in a mall, and there was plenty of seating. They also have free wifi. I hate to admit it, but my friend and I went 2 times in 3 days.. The portions are huge, and they look just like the pictures. The menu is really big too.

I miss this place :( It is deliciously addictive, especially given its proximity to public transportation. I have yet to find better gelato in Berlin or Germany.

Delicious ice cream with very kind staff!! I couldn't decide between flavors and when I asked for a recommendation he gave me samples of both so I could try it myself. The tiramisu is a creamy must have!
