Caffè Europa

Came here for Lunch and some Drinks. Added Bonus was the Waitress spoke very good English. However whilst waiting for our lunch, my Husband's Beer got knocked over by the waitress, and we were given the impression that he'd be given another, but later on we were charged for it.

On our trip across all Siciliy, we had here in the Cafe Europa the best Arancini ever. Even in Agrigento, where the Arancini originally comes from, they were not as good as here. You have to try the Arancino with "Melanzane e Tomato" (Eggplant and Tomato) and "Pistachio". They're both incredibly good 🤤 You come in, take a photo of what you want and go to the cashier and pay. You will get a receipt and then you go to get your food. A little awkward, but so it is 😅

I loved the place The things I chose to eat were the best flavours I tasted in my whole trip to Sicily I will consider staying in catania forever just for this cafe haha

There are no words to describe how good of SICILIAN GELATO. Busy as expected, but once you have it, you will get what we would want you to have experienced. TOP notch from every expectation 👌. Highly recommended for GELATO LOVER, It is a must for your trip to Catania. In warm weather like this, you won't say no to the best Gelato with deliciously fresh brioche. #Lovefromfirstbite🍦

Great food at very nice prices. Polite staff and they serve the food really fast. Yotally recommend it.

A wonderful cafe with a huge selection of sweet pastries, ice cream, traditional Italian snacks and lunch dishes. All the products offered made with care - they look and taste fantastic 🥰. The place has a friendly atmosphere, where you can find a moment for coffee and something delicious

I found the waiters to be very distracted. It was as if we were invisible. I guess they are so busy that they don't really care any more. I suggest you update your toilets with all the money you make.

Stopped here to pick up a quick snack. I had the four cheese orancini and my cousins had mozzarella in corrozza (basically a deep fried grilled ham & cheese sandwich). OMG my arancini was good but theirs was awesome. I would get that next time. The sweets selection was off the chart. I'd love to return in the morning and have a cappuccino and a sweet (or ten!). Highly recommend this place!!

This is one of my go to spots for Arancini, or is always busy of you want to dine in, but I'd you want take away ( to go) it is fairly quick. The Arancini are fresh and also tasty in the reheat.

The bar is in a central location in Catania, so naturally, it's poppin' with all walks of life. The food/drinks are tasty and will 100% leave you satisfied. This joint epitomizes a classic Italian/Sicilian bar where you order refreshes you, enjoy some people-watching in the city, and then go about your day.

camerieri molto rudi, maleducati pretenziosi. Prezzi da svenimento. Il posto poi e' estremamente triste e buio all'interno, si vede che i proprietari non vogliono consumare energia. Sia la granita che la gastronomia lasciavano molto a desiderare

In my opinion, one of the finest caffes in the world. The pastries are a true delight and a testament to Sicilian cuisine. I always go here when I'm in Catania, and I will continue to go here the rest of my life, as well as bring my children.
