Very welcoming, homey environment. The inside was very cozy but I sat on the patio to soak up the sun since it was the first nice day in a while. Great food menu with substantial meals. I had a crispy tofu sandwich and a strawberry pie slice. A bit of a wait for the food to come out, but all was delicious. The sandwich was freshly prepared with freshly crisped up tofu and tasty sauce, and the side salad had a really good dressing. The pie filling was juicy and tart with a rustic crumb topping. I also enjoyed my sour cherry green tea. They had a nice selection of teas as well as all the coffee drinks you'd expect and some interesting specialty drinks like hot chocolate, cream-top drinks, and more. It was a great place to relax and enjoy lunch.

This is a cute café with lots of different options for food. Their hot drink selection is amazing. The food tasted good, but I was disappointed with the serving sizes. In my opinion. The prices were a bit high to not get a lot food. I would come back again, but probably would just get a drink.

Amazing cafe and coffee roaster. My original review was 4 stars but I think they were having an off day. I've been back 4 times since and consistently had an amazing experience. Highly recommend the zareh buzz and all day bowl! Extremely filling, great seasoning, and the salad dressing is to die for. Highly recommended!

Really nice community oriented spot with a cute little side patio. Love the events they host. When I drank coffee, I liked their roasts but now that I can no longer have coffee for health reasons, I find myself wishing they had matcha on the menu and a couple more vegan baked goods.

i go to this cafe regularly and have always had a good experience. the staff are all very lovely and even when it’s busy— which it often is— the service is always great and reliable. it’s a nice environment and i really appreciate the efforts to make it a social atmosphere, encouraging interaction and holding so many events.

Gorgeous cafe with great coffee and even better staff. Atmosphere is cozy and artsy without being pretentious, or sloppy. The food is also incredible, I’m a regular here for good reason. You just can’t go wrong- but I recommend the best brussel sprouts of your life.

i love supporting local cafes! however, i have found each time i pop in for a coffee the baristas are the furthest thing from welcoming. i understand working in customer service can be exhausting but it seems to be a very cold and snobby attitude. i also find it hard to order without having a menu that is clearly visible. it seems to be a handheld menu that is by the cash but it makes me feel rushed when i can’t look at a board on the wall and know what the prices and drinks are. also the price for a babyccino (steamed milk) is outrageous lol

Vibrant coffee house in the Quadra Village area. Coffee and the food is very good, imo. I really like that they are a local company as I try to support local businesses as much as I can. They have a pretty big seating area, with a few outdoor tables as well , which I really like. Service is usually pretty friendly, but not always, really depends on who you get.
