Caffè Kimbo at Fiumicino Airport is a great spot to grab a quality coffee before a flight. Their espresso is rich and flavorful, just what you’d expect from an Italian café. They also offer a good selection of pizza and pastries, making it a convenient stop for a quick bite. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic slice or a sweet treat, there’s something to enjoy. The service is efficient, which is ideal for travelers on the go. If you’re passing through Rome’s airport, this is a solid choice for a quick and satisfying break.

By far the worst experience I had. I do not write negative reviews lightly. The place was chaos, bad service, and horrible coffee. I waited in line for 20 min to order. Then I had to present my receipt to the sandwich guy, which took another 30 min. The guy was running one sandwich at a time, so slow! Then I had to hand my receipt to the coffee side of the cafe, which was actually worse than the last two. Chaos everywhere, people pissed about the wait. I got two DRY double cappuccinos. They were, and I’m not being dramatic, the worst “coffees” I have ever had. It tasted like left over coffee water and milk. Like you pushed the button on a keurig after someone already had a coffee off of the pod. We actually tossed them, even though we slept for 4 hours. They were horrible. The sandwich was fine enough but lacking (one small basil leaf and lacking in part of the sandwich, see photo) I know in Italy you order at the counter and then give receipts for each station, but this one was the most inefficient one I saw on my entire time. Even airport workers were getting pissed.

Today, while waiting for our flight, my wife and I stopped by your café to have a coffee and a quick bite. We ordered a focaccia, an Americano, and a latte. The older gentleman working behind the counter handed us the sandwich after heating it for less than 10 seconds, then walked away. When I asked about the coffee, he checked a few previously brewed filter coffees, picked one, and simply added hot water. After I mentioned it was still cold, he finally prepared a proper one. However, he then proceeded to serve the next customer without making the latte. After handing over their coffee, I reminded him I was still waiting for mine. Instead of using a fresh shot, he reused the old one without cleaning the portafilter and added milk that had clearly been reheated some time ago. Unsurprisingly, the latte was both cold and unpleasant, but I chose not to complain further to avoid conflict. Later, I politely asked another staff member if they could properly heat the focaccia. Just five seconds later, the same older man came and removed it from the toaster. When I pointed out that it was still cold, he put it back and started muttering inappropriate words in Italian. His colleague began to laugh. I may be a tourist, but that doesn’t mean I can’t understand disrespectful behavior. It was extremely disappointing to encounter such rude and unprofessional service at the end of what had otherwise been a lovely holiday in Rome. Please remember: the quality of your staff reflects the quality of your establishment. I am attaching the receipt with the order details in case you would like to verify my account. I also hope that you have security cameras covering the area behind the counter.

100% not recommended if you can’t speak Italian. Terrible service, rude staff. This lady intentionally ignored us multiple times. We were there for a long time trying to tell her our order, but she just ignored us. And proceed to ask other customers about their orders which came later. Not sure is it because we are Asians. Then when we finally called out by saying “excuse me” only then she started to take our order. She also started to speak in Italian to her colleagues about us really loudly which only us couldn’t understand. Terrible experience but anyway the coffee was quite good.

I dont usually give bad reviews lightly and hesitate to do so usually, but I can confirm all the reviews regarding the rude staff. Was served by an orange haired lady who ignored me for the longest time while I was standing at the till. First, they do not have a menu of any sort and when I asked for an iced coffee, I was rudely told to go Costa next door to get it. She then immediately turned around to the other staff and both of them blatantly ridiculed me for my order in front of me. Utterly disrespectful and disappointing. I may be a tourist but I can still understand terrible service and when I am being made fun of. Horrible service and left a sour taste in my mouth.

I got a vegetarian sandwich and it's incredibly tasty, like unbelievably good airport food.

Google
Disappointed. I asked at the counter if I could have a cappuccino in a regular cup instead of the takeaway cup. They made me pay and told me to tell this to the bar. After queuing for 15mins the bar people told me it wasn’t possible because their dishwasher is broken. No apology, of course, just a plain lie. Last time I was here they used the same excuse. Cappuccino was ok but not great.

I had a very disappointing visit to this place. The staff didn’t speak English, making communication quite difficult. On top of that, they couldn’t even open a beer for me, which was frustrating. The tables were dirty, and it seemed like no one bothered to clean up after previous customers. To make matters worse, the pizza tasted old and bland, as if it had been sitting there for hours. Definitely not worth the visit. Avoid if you’re looking for good service and fresh food.

Yelp
At 05:00 waiting for a flight, this was a convenience. Nothing more. Counter service was two step: order and pay first; step over to the coffee bar. Prices were typically high being at an airport -- ESPRESSO 1,50€, CAPPUCHINO 2,30€, AMERICANO 2,20€, pastries 2,20€ & up. The Americano served was a weak brewed coffee. There are about 12 tables and a bar height counter overlooking the tarmac -- airport contemporary ambiance.

Yelp
This place is complete chaos! You pay first and then join a line of people trying to get their orders. There is no organization behind the counter so they know what orders they need to fill. You just have to wave your ticket and beg them to make you a cappuccino. They don't listen well, they dump drinks because they made the wrong things. One woman doesn't really work she just yells orders at the working woman and gets mad if people ask multiple times for their coffee. It was awful. The coffee was fine once we finally got it. Horrid though!! Need a zero starts for this service!

Yelp
We're leaving Rome! Before departing, we had to get one more cappuccino soia (soy). The cappuccinos at this joint use a darker roasted bean that gives the coffee some bitter/burnt notes, all-around the cappuccino were delicious and were the send-off I was looking for before heading home. If you're in E-Gate at the FCO Airport, come check out KIMBO. KIMBO also serves a wide selection of pastries, sandwiches, salads, drinks, and beers. One thing to note, though when we came here, there were no vegan options left; I'm guessing they had a vegan croissant, but it was already sold out when we arrived at 7am.

Yelp
Very disorganized and slow as a result, wouldn't go here again, plenty of other less chaotic places

Yelp
Located next to gate E42 and E43, you can order and kind of coffee, they have cold drinks, premade sandwiches, croissants, snacks. Sandwiches were ok, cappuccino was good, lady waiting on us was rude and no patients at all, working at an airport you need to realize you will be dealing with all different nationalities.

Yelp
New addition to the Fiumicino airport Leonardo da Vinci - Espresso da Napoli from Caffe Kimbo - as the area at the Terminal E got an overhaul remodel. It's a modern coffee counter where you can enjoy your cup of espresso with or without a snack or a refreshment. In addition to a variety of coffees, there are typical Italian sandwiches with prosciutto, like Schiacciata, or with fresh mozzarella and tomato, that are offered at €5,50. Granted, these are the airport location prices, which on average are about €2-€3 higher then at any coffee shop or deli counter in the city. There are various roasting blends of coffee at cafe Kimbo, starting with traditional Kimbo blend. The original Kimbo blend combines an intense aroma with a taste of sweetness for a full body that is typical of Neapolitan roast. L'originale Kimbo blend combina e profumo intenso con un sapore di dolcezza per un corpo pieno che è tipico del napoletano arrosto. They are also featuring the Cuccuma method of brewing at Caffe Kimbo. Espresso da Napoli Kimbo Come in and try a unique experience! Cuccuma, the icon of Neapolitan coffee that combines innovation and tradition. The coffee making process with the Cuccuma creates a ritual. A coffee with an intense and rounded flavor. * Kimbo Antica Tradizione * La miscela storica Kimbo aroma intenso e gusto dolce Corpo pieno tipico della tostatura napoletana. The original Kimbo blend with an intense flavor and the typical dark Neapolitan roasting.

Yelp
What's the perfect kind of place to have at an airport? This place! Somewhere you can stop and grab a quick sandwich or pastry and be on the go in no time. I stopped here earlier this morning when my flight from Toronto, Canada landed. I wanted to grab a quick bite before another hour long travel session downtown begin. I ended up ordering the porchetta sandwich which was on display (it looked too good to pass up) and after a quick toss in the oven I was back on my way! The sandwich itself was really good and only cost a few dollars. I was very pleased with my sandwich and would recommend this place to anyone passing through the airport!

Yelp
Good coffee. Got a quick caffeine fix before heading off for the plane. Don't forget after paying for your coffee, you have to show the receipt at the counter before they make the coffee. Don't just wait, thinking it will come like magic.

Yelp
Excellent Coffee. You need to specify whether you want to take away or drink there. They have a great variety of sweet and savory items. I got a chocolate croissant which was the best I have gotten from a restaurant in Rome. Many of the others just used Nutella. This place used a nice dark chocolate cream.

Yelp
~ Simple grab & go airport café ~ Nothing out of the Italian ordinary. Fast binary service, no charisma, all business, cheap tasty coffee, fresh juice, and pastries. Order it and go on your way, take a seat in their various tables, or stand by the bar the Italian way. I do think it is a brand new addition to the newly designed and constructed airport, after the fire. The area looks and feels spacious and clean, so hopefully it stays that way.

Yelp
Only Halfway full!!! I just opened it to add sugar. I asked them to make it sweeter and add a pump of syrup or anything they had to make it sweet. They told me we can not .. you can sugar packets over there and you can add as much as you want. This is after, I was just going to order the croissant and then walk to Starbucks to order my coffee. They tried to convince me not to go to the Starbucks that's located here at the airport. The coffee if lukewarm and she told me the croissant was warm. The plain croissant was cold and and had a slight lemon taste to it and my coffee is cold. Although the appeal of the cafe looks inviting and as if the food would be delicious, it is Not. I would not suggest to go to Kimbo and I will come here again.

Yelp
Like others here said, it's unclear where to order and the place that seemed most reasonable as the place to stand and wait to order (in front of the cashiers and the display of candy) is not in any case, I was the only one waiting at 5:30am and there were 2 staff hanging around and they didn't acknowledge me for a good 2 minutes ‍ like other said the cappuccino came out less than lukewarm. I didn't mind it but something to be mindful of if you prefer your coffee hot.

Yelp
Overcharged by 1.70 euros. Refused refund by staff who refused to understand any English. Bread for sandwich was clearly not fresh. Coffee was stone cold so asked for another which was like warm. My daughter's hot chocolate and pizza were just warm despite being asked if we would like it hot. Generally rude and unhelpful staff. Disappointing end to our holiday in Rome!!

Yelp
Oh man the food was just great,,,they make pretty much everything fresh for you,,I was shocked to find such quality at an airport,,,well I guess is Italy,,,here in Atlanta you find good food but the prices are way way high,,while in Rome the food is fantastic and very reasonable priced and great portions
