Google
Very disappointing experience. €5 for a maritozzo, which is really expensive, and it was honestly the worst sweet I’ve had in Italy. The bun was sweet but not soft at all, just dry and heavy. The toilet was dirty, and the staff were unfriendly — one of them was just standing in the corner using her phone instead of helping customers. Definitely not worth the price.

Our go to breakfast spot during our stay in Florence! I love their variety of sandwiches, delicious and filling, also delicious pastry and friendly staff.

This restaurant was close to our hotel and decided to try it out. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean. The food was incredible. The lasagna was creamy and delicious. The lasagna was the best I have ever had. Highly recommend this place.

Google
Excellent place for coffee and cold and hot food and snacks. Their pastries are nicely buttery full of flavour and freshness. The service is also great. In a lovely spot to recharge yourself and walk around Florence.

Google
Total tourist trap - had a small sweet bread, 5 euro. Most expensive I had in 3 weeks Italy and awful taste. Terrible toilets too and service.

Yelp
I went to this cafe twice, ordered the same items and I noticed the prices fluctuated. I will not return to this cafe because they seem to charge more to tourists. I ordered small cookies, I was charge 1 euro the first time I ordered, and then was charged 2 euros the second time. Also, I was charged an extra 1 euro for each coffee I ordered. Not a trustworthy establishment.

Yelp
Yowza! Great pasticceria. Sandwiches, pastries, fresh fruit galore. Want to blend in? Peruse the bounty of food behind the glass? If you don't know what it is, the girl will gladly help. Then go to the cashier at the entrance and pay for your food and beverages. Then go to the barrista and order your caffeinated drink of choice. As he prepares your drink go back to the sandwich counter to get your food. Last stop: coffee. Sit outside if you can. What a great experience. Best of all are the prices. Where can you get two cappuccinos for €2.80? OMG.

Yelp
This shop should also have cafe included in its description categories. Amazingly delicious pastries! By far the best breakfast experience of the last week in Italy! My wife even liked the coffee which has been surprisingly disappointing at most places in Italy. Not only was the food and coffee awesome, but the price makes me want to order double, it is so affordable! If you want breakfast in Florence, be sure to come here!

Yelp
Cappuccini are OKAY- I'm not a huge fan of the frothy foam but for 1.20 you can't complain too much about cappuccino in Italy;) The cornetti and pastries are indeed pretty descent and the staff there are in tip top shape with many little candies and cakes to take home if need be. My only complaint is that I was there for during lunch and I think the wait staff took too literally the term "piatti espressi" because after 3 seconds of doing the scarpetta of my burrata, my plate was whisked away from the table, albeit 5 pieces of potatoes left on the plate. I know this is Italy and service usually shouldn't be expected, but it is my ultimate pet peeve when plates are taken away just moments after the meal is finished, when food is still in my mouth or in this case- on my plate. Plus for a caffè lunch, €8.50 was a quite steep price for a ball of burrata and over boiled bland potatoes and limp lettuce. Why go: If you must be in Piazza Libertà and you forgot breakfast or a dolce for a dinner party.

Yelp
Comparing this bar to others would be a shame. It's an historical place, placed in an historical square and always crowded with people popping by for a coffee or a snack. Sitting under the porch is also very nice!

Yelp
Lovely place for a typical Italian breakfast! Great coffee and wide selection of pastries. Also with a more than fair price!

Yelp
Just finished my first good cup of what tasted like heaven in a cup (coffee). When we arrived in Italy, this is what I was expecting. Everything tasty and yummy. Well this is our first win while here in Italy. Liberta has delivered. Really affordable, like super cheap. Got three delicious treats and two coffees for 6€. Amazing. Such a delight. Great place. We will be coming here every day.
