Caffe Mundi

The chicken salad sandwich was very disappointing. After paying €14,50 for it, I was expecting hot, grilled chicken (especially with how long it took to come) instead I got cold, small chicken pieces. I was also expecting to receive HOT chips but instead we got room temperature packet chips that tastes like Lays. The cappuccino whilst delicious was very small in size for the price.

Understated cafe but what a great find! We tried the banana bread, almond and plain croissants and all were freshly baked each day, excellent pastries! Great barista and good quality coffee, dankejewel!

Excelent service and beautiful place as well, ideal to have a coffee at the outside tables or co-work inside with good wifi. But the best of all: The Coffee!! As a passionate of coffee i can tell they do an excelent job here, highly recomended

Great spot to stop for an excellent coffee and small breakfast. Kind service. Beware that if you sit outside, there's lots of smokers. I moved 2x to get away from the plumes, eventually sitting inside.

Excellent coffee selection! Overall positive experience for all the senses in the heart of the city. I’d suggest to try alo croissants.

Lovely (and speedy!) barista crafted a delicious latte and also kindly helped get our stroller down the stairs. Perfect pick me up on our touristy day in Antwerp!

Great choice of coffee, including different blends and origins. They have a terrific selection of homemade desserts, the espresso brownie being a delicious delicacy. The baristas are pretty friendly and accommodating. Also, it's a plus that they're open until 6 PM during the weekdays.

This small cafe near the central historic area of Antwerp was my first stop in Belgium after leaving the central station. It's only about a fifteen minute walk from the station and is super close to all the cool stuff down in central. I hadn't had my coffee for the morning yet, so Yelp steered me to this amazing cafe that does coffee right. Here at Cafe Mundi they're serious about coffee and give you lots options of either blends or single origin coffees. They even provide pamphlets explaining where their roasts come from and other information.  Also lots of options for brewing, such as v70, chemex, espresso, drip and cold brew. I selected a v60 with their Colombian single origin along with a chocolate croissant. The coffee was brought to my table and was perfect. The temperature was spot on and the taste was sensational. The croissant was great also, but I didn't realize how much chocolate filling was inside, a bit too much for me. Otherwise it was a great way to start my day in Belgium. Their WiFi was fast as well, something that was hard to find at a lot of places. I loved my coffee so much, I ended up grabbing some to go as well.

Very kind staff, fresh coffee, pastries and cakes. All of this comes in a relaxed atmosphere with a nice terrace too. You can even take it out while going to wherever you need to be.

I've walked by this location more times than I can count, since I first started staying in Central Antwerp. I'm delighted that I finally went inside. The cafe is clean, spacious and has a great atmosphere. As for the breakfast, it was outstanding. I can honestly state that it was one of the best bacon and egg dishes of my life. The bread served with it sealed the deal of this assessment. It was flavorful and whole grain. You simply don't get bread like that in the US, unless you are at an high end breakfast restaurant. The coffee was strong and flavorful. The service was perfect. My only regret is that I hadn't visited sooner.

I had high hopes for Caffe Mundi and they were pleasantly met! The location is just outside the Grote Markt. From the minute you walk in you can tell that this is a real coffee café (not just a café that happens to serve coffee). On the wall behind the baristas you see the coffee neatly organized by origin. And the entire café is decorated wtih coffee plants! I have to admit I couldn't leave without one - only 3 euros!. The menu is organized with the espresso drinks in the left column and the coffee bean origin across the top row and then all of the prices in the middle. I had no idea where to begin, but I thought the house blend would be a telling sign of the quality of coffee. So I ordered a house blend cappuccino and enjoyed it inside. I will definitely come back!

I learned a dozen things about coffee here. I don't think there is a place in town where they are more passionate about beans and their origin. It's like wine tasting with coffee. And if you'd rather taste (good) wine, it's also possible. Cakes are home made and the breakfast is very affordable. A real good spot for slow coffee.

Good special coffees and home made cakes, micro roasterie next door. Fresh 100% apple juice for children. Quiet, small place with friendly atmosphere and locals gathering to enjoy afternoon coffee. Fresh place!

This is one of the finest coffee places in Belgium. The staff is so nice and helpful and knowledgeable about whay they have to offer. They are each passionate about their service! One can choose from a variety of beans for pour over and espresso. I had a Cortado and also an affogato with their in house made coffee flavored ice cream. It was the best affogato I've ever had (and I've had many). The cafe is rather off the beaten path a bit up the road from the center of Antwerp (which doesn't bother me). One can sit outside and it's quiet or inside as its nice and cozy and not too loud. The quality of both my drinks was top notch, well balanced, and the interior was lovely. A true 5 star experience!

An excellent coffee shop very near the cathedral and market square. A good variety of roasts and preparations. The americano I had was well prepared and served. Going back for sure.

Wonderful cappuccino. Multiple choices for espresso beans. Textured milk was just the right temperature. The entry door is huge! The waiter was extremely polite. The bathroom is in the basement which has a super cool arched brick ceiling. Perfect!
