Caffè Palombini

Waited a long time for any service, the. Went to the counter ourself, to be told it waiter service... mmm. But food was great coffee good. Would go back again

Coffee was okay, spremuta tasted like succo. Strange event. Was asked to pay immediately after receiving my order.

We waited 20min to be served and 3 different waiters told us they were unable to take our order during that time (huh??). We gave up and left when we saw them take the order of a group that arrived way after us. Do not bother unless you’re getting take away pastries.

Used to be a great atmosphere. But it slipped. As other reviewers have noted, dismissive. If you're there gave a look and see what the vibe is. Might be OK

Cappuccino was too much milk Cornetto was ok But nice historical interior

Nice coffee house. Feels like an institution in this part of the city. With every beer we ordered the complimentary titbits became nicer. From chips to self made anchovy crackers. Also offers tobacco.

Excellent coffee, pastries and sandwiches! The chips and mayo are homemade (side dish for the sandwich or pizza), very impressive! I recomend this place!

After walking around Mussolini’s masterplan Of architecture Caffe Palombini is a great place to have a bite to eat and a drink. Three very different snacks and two enormous aperol spritz came to 20 euros, which was great value as it kept us ticking over for a few hours. Service is great, the venue a modern twist on a 70s building, very classy and very popular, but no so popular that you cannot relax. Look forward to future visits.

This is a convenient yet pretentious place for mediocre food if you're waiting for the bus. They serve premade sandwiches and overpriced pastries in an establishment that appears upscale, but is no cleaner than McDonald's. While I ordered two meals, my order of water was scoffed at. Upon attempting to later order gelato, the three servers looked at me and then each other, said something, looked back at me and laughed. I cannot say whether the freezer burned-looking gelato was good or not because I promptly walked away. Not the right attitude for customer service, and certainly not worth your time unless absolutely necessary.

We popped into this lovely cafeteria to enjoy a cappuccino. What a delightful and charming coffee shop this was. We decided to sit inside. This cafeteria and pastry shop has been around since 1963, and their products are made from the highest quality ingredients. The interior of the cafeteria was very modern and sleek. The pastries on display were so inviting. We decided to enjoy just cappuccinos that morning, and they were delicious. Our bill for 3 cappuccinos was € 10.50. (It always costs more to sit than to stand and enjoy your cappuccino.)

I never would've come across this place on my own. A friend of a friend took us here for a quick breakfast before heading to the airport. There are several of these types of cafes throughout Rome but it is nice to see a different side to the city in the outskirts in the newer sections. Tons of variety - your usually cornetto and sweet pastries. There is also a huge selection of savoury sandwiches - which is perfect if you need to grab lunch on the go. If you're an out of towner, here's the drill and most other cafes like this also work this way but since this place is quite big it can get a bit crazy. First have a look at what you want - roughly get an idea of what it's call as you first need to pay for it at the till then bring the receipt to the counter to pick up the food. Luckily I was with an Italian friend who translated everything for me.
