Let me start by saying that I think the place is nice for when you're with a group. As a woman alone in Rome, not so much. I lived down the street and tried several times having lunch at this place. The staff would ignore me when I sat down and there were other tables to clean or groups to attend to. I get that it's busy during lunch, but not even saying anything to me or looking at me after 15 minutes is something else. Moreover, one time I saw how they told an elderly lady, who had difficulty walking and also already waiting for 10 minutes, that she could not have a coffee outside, because it was lunchtime. At the time, the terace was half filled and no people waiting. I get that the centre of Rome is busy and that a single woman would obviously spend less than a group of people, but this was downright unkind.
