Caimito Beach Hotel

The location is around 20minutes away from the city proper. Parking is limited to 4 vehicles and few motorbikes but can park along the street (if you see the cracked tiles in the front parking my tyres bumped it don't blame me), no security officer, and they can accept cash/card payment. Dinner can be ordered till 830PM. Mesmerizing ambience!

The staff are very friendly. The rooms are well-maintained with air conditioning. The pools are clean, and you can also swim in the sea.

It was a good place for a quick vacation. Food was great but a little expensive. Room was clean but the BR/CR were a little disappointing as to cleanliness. But overall, I would return — and recommend Caimito.

It's probably the best hotel in Maasin. Great size rooms, modern bathroom and toilet that has toilet paper. Really comfortable bed, (The pillows need to be better)

I have stayed at this great hotel several times over the years with my wife and kids . We always book two rooms so the kids get their own room next to ours . I have travelled a lot in the Philippines and Thailand , I have to say this is the safest hotel I have ever stayed at . Beautiful rooms , beautiful grounds , fantastic views , great food and a fantastic pool that is accessible 24/7 (remember to keep the noise down) . The staff are immaculately turned out , polite , friendly and professional. WiFi is excellent. The owners Pascal and his lovely wife Eden are the best hosts ever . We have already booked for Christmas and New Year there and we can't wait . Over all the place is so relaxing , we always feel like we are at home when we come here . The city of Maasin is about 5km away , public transport is cheap and easy to use . Although this is a beach hotel the beach is quite small but there are loads of sandy beaches nearby . perfect stay at Caimito. Title: A hidden gem – my second home in the Philippines! From June 7 to June 17, 2025, we once again stayed at the wonderful Caimito Beach Hotel – now our fourth visit. And every time, it truly feels like coming home. The owner always greets me with a warm smile and the words: “Welcome back, my friend” – a small gesture that means a lot. Everything about this hotel is just perfect: the rooms are spotlessly clean, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful (+++ rating!), and the beachfront location is ideal for anyone looking for peace, nature, and genuine hospitality. We’re so happy we discovered this hidden gem in Maasin. I currently live partly in Belgium and partly in General Trias, Cavite, and my wife’s family is from Hilongos, Leyte – so we know the region well. Without a doubt, this hotel ranks among the absolute best in Southern Leyte. Bonus tip: the restaurant is excellent! You can dine inside or enjoy your meal on the lovely terrace. Everything is freshly prepared with care. Don’t miss the spaghetti bolognese – it’s absolutely +++! For me, this place is always a solid 11 out of 10. If you’re visiting Southern Leyte: look no further – this is the place to be.

By far the best place to stay in Maasin. We've stayed here many times. The rooms are clean and comfortable with hot showers. The food is delicious. Highly recommend the chilli con carne. The staff are courteous and friendly.
