Caimito Beach Hotel

The owner is a very nice man unfortunately the staff at the front desk got rude and didn’t tell us that we could bring outside food to the outdoor tables by the pool/ocean and charged us 500php for doing it. The staff harassed and badgered my partner about it. At check out they wouldn’t call the owner in or the woman that checked us in. *bring salt and pepper if you order from the hotel menu it’s very bland. But the view is beautiful!

The location is around 20minutes away from the city proper. Parking is limited to 4 vehicles and few motorbikes but can park along the street (if you see the cracked tiles in the front parking my tyres bumped it don't blame me), no security officer, and they can accept cash/card payment. Dinner can be ordered till 830PM. Mesmerizing ambience!

I have stayed at this great hotel several times over the years with my wife and kids . We always book two rooms so the kids get their own room next to ours . I have travelled a lot in the Philippines and Thailand , I have to say this is the safest hotel I have ever stayed at . Beautiful rooms , beautiful grounds , fantastic views , great food and a fantastic pool that is accessible 24/7 (remember to keep the noise down) . The staff are immaculately turned out , polite , friendly and professional. WiFi is excellent. The owners Pascal and his lovely wife Eden are the best hosts ever . We have already booked for Christmas and New Year there and we can't wait . Over all the place is so relaxing , we always feel like we are at home when we come here . The city of Maasin is about 5km away , public transport is cheap and easy to use . Although this is a beach hotel the beach is quite small but there are loads of sandy beaches nearby . The staff are very friendly. The rooms are well-maintained with air conditioning. The pools are clean, and you can also swim in the sea.

It was a good place for a quick vacation. Food was great but a little expensive. Room was clean but the BR/CR were a little disappointing as to cleanliness. But overall, I would return — and recommend Caimito.

I stayed at the hotel for 16 nights recently. The hotel is not a western hotel, so do not expect a western hotel. If you can accept that then I think anyone would enjoy staying here. The view is absolutely fantastic and the location is very good. The hotel was comfortable, but most importantly I was treated exceptionally well during my stay. The food was excellent. the owners were extremely friendly. The staff were always attentive to my needs, very quick to assist with anything I needed and always had a smile during our interactions. I will absolutely stay here again when I return to Leyte.

By far the best place to stay in Maasin. We've stayed here many times. The rooms are clean and comfortable with hot showers. The food is delicious. Highly recommend the chilli con carne. The staff are courteous and friendly.
