Nestled in the expansive Cairngorms National Park, this stunning playground boasts incredible hiking, skiing, and breathtaking vistas amid Scotland's wild beauty.
"Authentic European wilderness is in short supply, but you can come close to experiencing it in Cairngorms National Park, home to much of Scotland ’s native forest and a quarter of all the endangered species in the U.K. At more than 1,750 square miles, it’s the biggest national park in Britain, encompassing four of the five largest mountains in Scotland. In addition to stunning scenery, visitors will find a natural playground with water sports, skiing, incredible hiking and cycling trails, and 12 golf courses. The park also features the U.K.’s only sled-dog center as well as the country’s first permanent, bridge-based bungee jump."

Beautiful place to visit! Very peaceful and great for mindfulness as you walk or jog around the magnificent park. I was only able to hike a tiny bit of it but going back soon :-)

My favourite place. It has it all for me. Lovely glen walks, hills if I fancy that. Great views. Chill or be very active. Very busy in high season but if you know where to go you can see no one. Always take an Ordinance Survey map and compass.

A road trip from Worcester to Fores on the Scottish north coast took me through the beautiful Cairngorms. I can't describe adequately the beauty and calm of this place. Stunning.

Amazing place to visit, highly recommend taking the slightly slower route (not the A9) through the hills, mountains and valleys to make the most of the views and stopping points.
