So we didn't have a reservation, we went there and we entered normally, we paid 300EGP per person (drink included) and everything was great. There was live music with 3 different bands, we could dance and feel free , alcohol was also served there. It was one of the best nights at Cairo

If you're a fan of live gigs and are looking for a place that offers that in variety (it's not just jazz by the way), then CJC is a good place to go. The vibes are nice, I personally haven't experienced random people trying to hook up with me (they mostly apply their no single men policy), and they get some talented musicians/bands. (They also have jam nights) Tickets for the gigs cost LE300 on average. On the other side, ordering drinks or other stuff is expensive/quite overpriced... For example, a local beer bottle bottle (330 ml) costs 230 (with taxes)... Meanwhile in other nice bars, you can get it for as low as 100/110 (And in terms of food, a mixed cheese platter appetizer costs 453.6 with taxes) As for the space itself, the bathrooms are clean and the bartenders are polite. However, sometimes the sound system doesn't seem to be working the best. (If you're a non-smoker, and don't like the smell of smoke, keep in mind it's fully indoors and there isn't a non-smoking area) Overall, I'd recommend it since it's one of the very few places in Cairo that you can find live gigs at mostly every day of the week. --- Overall rating: 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The bouncer was a complete ignorant, i called the number 7 times without answer, and the staff were oblivious, the owners obviously don’t care. Never coming to this bad place again. What a waist to a good brand in the past.

I’m a solo traveling, well put-together, Black American; and, when I came to this place I was first told it’s “reservation only”, and then one of the doorman told me I had to pay each guy 300 Egyptian pounds a piece in order to get in. I walked away in disbelief. I came back to clarify if I heard him right and was then told a flat out “No” about getting in.

Most unprofessional staff at door with weird entrance policy. If you are a tourist please look elsewhere, they have weird door policy and will deny you entry if you are not a mixed group. They don’t answer phone calls then expect you to do booking through Facebook with still no guarantee of entrance. They consider themselves some high end Berlin club. I’d rate it 0 if I could.

Amazing atmosphere with excellent live music, a relaxed crowd and friendly service. Food is also excellent and very well presented.
