The service at Cajah was genuinely great — the staff were kind, professional, and attentive, and the space was extremely clean and calming. The quality of the service itself was not the issue at all.
Unfortunately, the experience became very stressful due to payment limitations. I asked ahead of time about Apple Pay and card options and believed those would be accepted. When it came time to pay, I was told the only options were cash or cash-based apps (Apple Cash, Cash App, or Venmo). Because it was the day after Christmas and funds were already very tight, this put me in a really difficult position.
I had to move money around and walk across the street to withdraw cash just to pay. If I had known in advance that card payment was not an option, I would not have booked the service that day. What was meant to be a self-care, pampering experience ended up being financially and emotionally stressful, as I was suddenly trying to figure out money instead of relaxing.
I would still say the service itself was excellent, but clearer communication and more flexible payment options are really needed so customers can make informed decisions and avoid unnecessary stress.
