"Cake Wines, Redfern by lowercase. Redfern's very own cellar door. Housed in a restored warehouse on Everleigh St, they serve up their full range of wines, along with a selection of locally brewed beers, spirits and ciders. The menu is simple, with pizzas, cured meats and cheeses being the food of choice. They're big supporters of local music scene, so live music is a regular fixture for Friday and Saturday nights. Rating for the gallery, not the art (which I did not like): Came here for Art Month After Hours and the wine was...well just bad. Neither my friend or I enjoyed what we had (rose). the space was not very conducive to showing art, as they were projecting videos on the wall but you couldn't really see it as the number of people was blocking bits of the light. 'Outside' area with a tree is nice but not a lot of room. There was a performance there and it was difficult for them to move around.

Cake Wines, nice! Had a ripper night here with great wine, pizza and awesome live music. It has a pretty chilled out vibe, great place to meet up with mates for a few drinks. The staff are friendly and attentive and it has a nice ambience. Thumbs up!!!
