"Eat Lunch at Caladium Just across from the bus station in Belmopan, on Market Square, is the welcoming Caladium Restaurant. Serving locals and visitors since 1984, it was the first dining room in town to offer take-out service. The main room is adjacent to a gift shop where traditional Belizean art and crafts are for sale. The menu favors local dishes such as chicken with rice and beans but international options like sweet and sour pork are also available. Fresh-squeezed juices from watermelon, tamarind and papaya are available, as are imported beers and soda. I was glad I saved room for the flan, which was perfectly balanced with a caramel sauce tinged with just a hint of liquor. Breakfast is served in the morning beginning at 7 a.m. and lunch is available from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday."

A great find in Belmopan. We went there for breakfast twice. Each time the food was both fast and delicious. The service and staff were friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was inviting and warm. It was easy to find once you turn down the street it's on. Parking however can be problematic, but it's worth the trouble once you do.

I had excellent service by the staff this morning. The guys and girls who took care of me were really friendly and attentive. As for the food I ordered a western omelet with ham. The ham was cold and could have been either fried or diced and inside of the omelet as it traditionally is... Not a big issue will return for more.

I was here quite early arriving from bus from Belize City, and this restaurant is just opposite the bus terminal. When I arrived, the staff gave me the breakfast menu, it looks interesting but I wanted something more substantial so I asked if there is a normal/lunch menu and she changed the menu for me. Decided to get the stewed chicken, the Sorel and Ginger drink and saw some tempting desserts. Ordered the bread pudding as well. The stewed chicken is definitely filling for me and the chicken was big in portion and very well cooked. Loved the rice with beans it was very fragrant. Enjoyed the Sorel and Ginger which was quite a unique combination. I asked for the dessert to be served but I wonder why it took so long. Apparently they don't just serve it from the fridge but they took it to warm it and add some sauce onto it. Really enjoyable dessert which made the meal complete. Meal was good and price was pretty reasonable. Was also very appreciative that they allowed me to put my luggage there for a couple of hours while I took some time to walk around Belmopan. Grateful of their gesture.

I asked for nachos, the price in the Menu was 20. It surprised me when I got the bill, they charged me 28, stating that they served "Supreme Nachos". I really don't know the difference, but it is unacceptable and ridiculous!

I love going for their wings and nachos. The ambiance on the top floor is super chill. I love customer service. The owner is always cheerful to accommodate you with the best service.
