Calafate Hostel

Very nice hostel! I booked a room with a private bathroom and it felt like a hostel. A simple breakfast was also included. Great value for the money, would definitely stay here again!

Very nice rooms, good location and the biggest highlight are the big breakfasts included. In my eyes the only downside is the always busy reception, where you shall always leave and retrieve your keys, which takes a bit of time. The common kitchen gets quite full too.

we got a quite large room with a separate bath on the back side. On the front side is a shared kitchen that is well equipped but somewhat messy. Breakfast is included and is really good with fresh fruit, cereals, rolls and eggs. Location is fine, close to center.

Great place for a budget friendly stay. The rooms are spacious and have enough lockers (in the rooms) for everyone to safely store their entire luggage and valuable items. Some beds include a dark cover so you can avoid the lighting. The bathrooms could be a bit better but they do clean the rooms every day. The staff is super nice and attentive to any questions or help you need. Most power outlets have a combination of plug adapters (European, American, Argentinian, etc) included in the outlet The breakfast is solid. Nothing to fancy but it includes all the essential nutrients to get you started with your day.

Review for double room with private bathroom: located in different building from the hostel area, the hotel area is quiet and nice. Room is decent and warm. Breakfast is basic but for extra charge one can add eggs,cheese etc|Location is great,in the centre ,one street behknd the main street

Honestly, the best value for money a hostel can offer in Calafate. Rooms were very well equipped with sufficient lockers and steady beds. Every bed had a locker, curtain and electric socket. Stuff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast contained eggs, toast, fruit and cereal which was very sufficient for me.

The bed was the best, very confortable and stable and clearly clean and it had courtens!! There was a lot of storage space that you could safely lock (we had our locks). There was a practical shelf and lamp for each bed. And you did not need an adaptar to charge devices. Perfect! There is soap for hands in the bathrooms. The included breakfast was huge and I, as a vegan, had cereals, almond milk, fruit, bread and marmalade! I am totally happy! The kitchen was good! Negative points: You couldn't lock the doors of the bathrooms. There is only one place to wash dishes but maaany guests cooking.

I know there are many opinions, but I love and appreciate the lodge-like atmosphere here and the helpful staff. Also, the people staying here were wonderful and we all had a great time eating dinner together and exchanging different cultures. I hope to stay here again when I visit El Calafate again.
