Calçada Guesthouse - B&B and Co-living/Working space

Calcada House is absolutely fabulous - perfectly located, very comfortable and very well managed by the delightful Sangita. I stayed for five weeks over Dec-Jan period (the weather was perfect - sunny every day and great for walking and exploring) and this is the time of the year when it is set up for co-living/co-working. I shared the house with a wonderful group of independent women, all interested in doing some things together (some meals, short trips, evening movie sessions etc.) whilst still allowing for privacy for working or solo time. Highly recommended!

The guesthouse was very clean, welcoming and comfortable. It was in a great location and we had everything we needed. I recommend getting the morning breakfast. It was a leisurely way to start the day with a wonderful mix of breakfast fruit, yogurt, meat, cheese and breads. Our hosts were very attentive and helpful. Will definitely stay there if I get back to this charming town!

Everything was really well done. They were pro active, advised us on how to get there, where to park and everything. The apartment is amazing. When you enter you see a beautiful garden. The interior was amazing. Everything was beautifully decorated. I enjoyed the details. To top it all up we had an amazing breakfast. The lady from Nepal (unfortunately I forgot to ask her for her name) put a lot of effort in the quality of the food. It was beautifully decorated and served with a smile. Well done. We truly loved staying there.

This was 1 of the loveliest places we stayed on our trip. From the outside it looked average but inside was a tranquil beautiful area. The operators were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and served outside on the roof top patio. I would definitely stay again.

A place of complete friendliness, comfort in all aspects, tranquil and totally enjoyable.||Spacious common areas, very nice roof garden.||It is more of a luxury villa than a b&b. Very central location, everything of interest within walking distance.

Firstly, I have to say that the guesthouse is not easy to find ! Google maps sent me all around the town, and in the end the lovely lady at the guesthouse came to find me. |Apart from that, the guesthouse was exactly as described. I had a basement room, which was spacious and clean. The shower worked well, Wi-Fi was good, and it was surprisingly quiet. I had breakfast on the roof both mornings, which was good value. |Tavira is a lovely town and the guesthouse is in the perfect location. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Taking the boat to the nearby island was easy, and I also hired a bike and cycled across the salt flats. Gorgeous !

Lovely guesthouse. |Really helpful team and booked us a transfer from the airport at short notice. Gorgeous rooftop terrace. Very central location, 1min walk from the river. Gorgeous breakfast served with fresh fruit. Book early as this place is very popular.

Rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. Sangita and team were so friendly and helpful. Close to Tavira and all the attractions of the town . Sun terrace is a beautiful place for breakfast and sit out . Reception area has a great coffee machine . Would stay again.
