I recently visited Caledon Hills Brewing Company in Palgrave and was absolutely blown away. The location itself is stunning—it’s set in a restored historic church, which gives it such a unique, cozy, and welcoming vibe.
Beyond the atmosphere, the food and drinks were outstanding. It is so refreshing to find a place where the kitchen is doing everything in-house and doing it right. The chef is doing an excellent job with the menu; the quality is top-tier, and the portions are honest and generous. You definitely don’t feel misled by the menu here—what you get is hearty and satisfying (the pretzel is great the nachos are amazingly cheesy and loaded great with beer! The burgers look fantastic so I'll definitely be trying them).
As for the beer, they have plenty of variety with their in-house crafted brews. You can tell they take pride in their German brewing roots—the Vienna Lager & the wheat beers amazing, and their seasonal taps were fresh and delicious.
Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great craft beer, honest food, and a truly memorable setting. I’ll definitely be back again and again in the summer to enjoy a different atmosphere than the winter, KEEP IT UP !
