I spent one night at this hotel. Overall, it’s a good choice if you want to stay close to the beach—especially if, like me, you’re only there for a short time. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for more than a weekend.
Pros:
Excellent location, just 2 minutes from the beach.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
They offer luggage storage (though it’s in a damp cellar—fine for a few hours) and a shower you can use before leaving.
Cons:
It’s a very old building, so you're mainly paying for the location. It feels more like a hostel with private bathrooms. They could invest more in the facilities, but everything was clean—so let’s call it a “half con.”
The photos don’t match the actual rooms. We booked thinking we’d get a balcony, but didn’t. Apparently, that comes at an extra cost… which was disappointing.
One heads-up:
By law, hotels are not allowed to scan or photocopy IDs, but they did. I personally didn’t mind, but it’s something you’re allowed to refuse.
