Honestly, the price is worth it! It’s the best restaurant of my two weeks in madeira! A hidden gem that we found after hiking 🥰 We reserved a table of 10. The food was excquisite (image), more than satisfied! The atmosphere 🔛🔝 and the service was impeccable, always checked on us, super friendly, chatty and humorous 😆. After paying and wanting to leave they even gave us liquor and it was good 😊. This restaurant i won’t forget, the smell of the eucalyptus trees that surrounded the terrace of the restaurant. Amazing. Truly recommend this restaurant if you ever visit the island. One thing I almost forgot is the posters in the restroom 😆😆 (image). I thank all the employees! Thank you so much for this wonderful evening. ☺️ I wish you all the good luck for the future.

Really enjoyed our meal here after a long hike nearby. Sitting outside was peaceful and parking was easy with lots of spaces in the lot. We ordered the chicken skewer a salad fries and of course a local wine. Everything was delicious I really liked the seasoning on the chicken and it was cooked perfectly. There is a sweet little house cat that stopped on by which I as a pet lover, loved bc I was missing my pets at home. Service was fast friendly and helpful .. I would definitely recommend to anyone to stop here for a bit and some drinks you will not be disappointed

Madeira’s hidden gem, perched atop a mountain, offers a unique dining experience. If you’re fortunate enough to dine there, you’ll be enveloped in a cloud of culinary delight. The service is impeccable, the food is delectable, and the value for your money is simply unbeatable. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Probably the best food I’ve had in Portugal so far. The chicken espetada was so tender and succulent and the beef espetada was packed with flavour. The sides were excellent and their wine list is very good.

Atmosphere: 10/10 Service: 10/10 The food, however, was a bit of a letdown. It was extremely salty 😸, and the garlic bread wasn’t grilled to that satisfying crunch we were expecting. That said, the overall experience was still pleasant, and we’ll probably come back to try something else on the menu! They have some parking spots. Heated terrace.

This was one of my favorite places just 1 year ago. But the tourism in the area has caused them to get complacent. While the prices steadily increased, the quality went down. I recently was presented with chicken that was well overcooked, dry and crunchy. I saw that it was left on the grill way too long. I had the same dish twice before and knew what it should taste like. To be clear, my chicken skewers come with 3 pieces on them. I removed one and took a single bite. And then waited 6-8 minutes for table service to return. When I brought it to the waiter's attention, he informed me that was normal because they marinate the chicken….. Another person at our table got the same dish at the same time and I asked her how she would describe it. Her response was "burnt". The Bolo garlic bread the presented was also dry and crunchy like it would be from a small cafe in Funchal. I tried to quietly bring the deficiency to the staffs' attention but was completely disregarded. I did not eat most of my meal, paid my bill and am not looking to return.

Let’s start by saying that this place is phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, the staff were very friendly, happy for us to sit where ever we wanted and move the furniture to get a better view of the amazing ocean views. The menu has lots of local dishes and a large variety of grilled meats. Lots of different wines and some really cool craft beers. I got a milkshake passion fruit IPA, which sounded like a wild ride, it was super refreshing and paired well with a black americano. I got a t bone steak which was probably the best steak I’ve genuinely ever had, it was well priced, very well seasoned and served exactly how I ordered it. It looked so good I forgot to take a photo, had to jump right in. We got the grilled salmon and spinach side dish. Both were very fresh and tasty. Finished with a tiramisu which was a fun variant, it was made with a ginger/nutmeg flavoured biscuit which really added another level of flavour to the dish. The location is gorgeous, there are hens and a rabbit cage in the large garden that’s in front of the eatery. A friendly cat became our friend also while we waited. Highly recommend this place. It’s easily our favourite place in Madeira!

This is the first Portuguese restaurant that we tried in our trip to Madeira and they definitely set the standards pretty hight. Their skewers were the best.
