Calichi Gastrobar

Excellent food at with a beautiful ambiance. We visited Calichi Gastrobar for the first time on our honeymoon. Placed on top of a hill it gives a scenic view. We were there on a Friday where there was an amazing jazz trio playing, which really added to the experience. For the food we went for the Churrasco 10oz with Parmesan Risotto and Salmon Asiago with Parmesan Risotto. Especially the meat was phenomenal. The salmon was super fresh and definitely worth the money. The Churrasco was super tender and perfectly medium. As drinks we ordered a Parcha Juice and a Martini, which were both super fresh and very well mixed. We went there at 6 pm and there were not many people yet. Nevertheless we got our food in maybe 15 mins after our order, which was really great. The waitress was also really kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to go out on a nice evening and enjoy good food.

I came to to calichi recommended to me by tiktok! We are tourist from MS & MI. I ordered the fried red snapper & Asiago Salmon, Both were Immaculate ! It was soooo good I had to come back! On my second visit We met Dory , Orville’s sister! She was our menu translator & had very good conversation. She Recomemended the best of the best on the menu & we absoulety enjoyed everything! We got vegetable empanadas, shrimp skewer, & sweet plaintain also mushroom , pineapple tacos! Multiple stars of the show! We also asked her what market can we get soursop bc it’s not avaiable in our home area & to our surprise they have fresh pressed soursop juice! It was amazing, I wish I could bring a gallon home. We loved it! The service from dory was attentive, passionate & caring. Orville remembered us from the night before. 1000/10 , Thank you guys for such a memorable experience!

OUTSTANDING!!! The venue is spectacularly placed with panoramic views of a beautiful mountain scape. While exquisitely beautiful in the daylight, the venue became a festival of light as the darkness of the evening descended. The team of staff were exceptional: warm, welcoming and went above and beyond to make our visit something truly special! Luis and Felix were especially wonderful to us during our dinner - their kindness made us never want to leave! The food is fantastic - fresh, expertly prepared and packed with flavor. Their vegetarian and vegan offering were especially noteworthy as I have yet to see the quality and diversity of options on offer matched anywhere else on the island - OUTSTANDING! We will be returning again and again and recommend it to friends and family alike. If you are looking for a spectacular venue, truly delicious food with a warm, authentic and joyful atmosphere - look no further. A very, very special place to visit!

This property is amazing. Great view, ambiance, and experience. Although reservations should be considered, getting there early should give you a chance to be seated. But be advised that this place is highly appreciated by the locals. Do try the watermelon mojito as you sit back, relax, and enjoy your company.

From the moment I stepped into the restaurant approximately three years ago, I was met with impeccable service that set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. Every dish served was a testament to the chef's prowess, delivering flavors that were both rich and nuanced. But what truly stood out was their wine selection. Their staff showcased an uncanny ability to recommend the perfect wine pairing for each course, elevating the meal to new heights. It's rare to find a place that excels in all areas, but this restaurant truly does, and we try out best to visit weekly. Calichi is a must-visit for any food and wine enthusiast.

Place is beautiful in the mountains of Naranjito, food was delicious and very well presented. Paola was a great server, very attentive. Went for a family birthday celebration.

It's always nice to leave the city every now and then and cruise around the island. Naranjito is always a good option for nice views and good food. Calichi gives you both. Great place for families and groups. If you like wine, they have a small but nice wine cellar. They also have a full bar that serves up some good cocktails. Our group ordered a few and they were all hits. Since the restaurant is on a hilltop they have a shuttle for those parked at the bottom. I had the churrasco (skirt steak) with the mash of the day. The steak was well seasoned and cooked just right. The mash had celery. It soaked the meats juices. Tasty.

The view up here is spectacular- now add great service, amazing food and Puertorican hospitality and you have the best dining experience! The churrasco (steak) was amazingly marinated and melted with every bite - it was on a bed of rice and beans made completely different than what I knew before. We also ordered tostones (salty and crunchy plantain - savory) and plátano Maduro (sweet plantain) to accompany our plates - an amazing addition! To top it off we had the creme brûlée which is an added bonus to phone home about! For beverages I highly recommend the lavender mule - it's delicious and refreshing! Nuestra mesera y todos los trabajadores fueron de lo más atentos con nosotros!

Food was pretty good as well service. The ambiance was ok the service was pretty good I thought it would be a bit more exclusive but was more informal.

Food was perfect and very tasty. The service was wonderful Dorrie was helpful she was best server on the island. The restaurant had beautiful views.

Location, view, ambient and service all 5 Lots nice spots for great scenery pictures and outdoor seating to be relax either waiting to be seated or after eating and getting ready to drive back to your destination. There is even a golf cart to give you a ride from your car to the restaurant/bar area. Its amazing the beauty of nature among Puerto Rico mountains in Naranjito less than 1 hour from San Juan. The churrasco was a 5 in taste and how tender and soft the meat was cooked. The lamb ribs were also very good and the glaze was a nice touch. However, the halibut was weak in season compared to other places including our own private kitchen. The appetizers needs improvement while the desserts were the cherry on the ice cream. Considering all the above, food, location, experience and price its 4 .

Spectacular views and delicious food. Many puertorican dishes to enjoy. Our sever, Camila was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Great service. Restaurant is mainly a covered outdoor space but very comfortable and cozy. Beautiful atmosphere with views of the mountains. Definitely a place to stop to enjoy the country side of the island.

We got there at noon, when it opens. Food was served fast and fresh. The prosciutto fritters were really god. The ribeye was big and on point with a red wine reduction on top and over an Amazing risotto de longaniza (local sausage) . Our waiter, Gabriel, was always close by and making sure we had everything wee needed. The view is great, which can be seen from any place in the restaurant, its a big terrace.

While on vacation in my hometown of Naranjito, my family and relatives went to Calichi Gastrobar. I had heard of the place. One my cousin, mentioned that the place was nice and the food is good but kind of expensive. I didn't hesitate on making a reservation, I wanted bring my son and his wife, which she was visiting Naranjito for the first time. Once, we got to the restaurant we were seated and we ordered some drinks. Afterwards, we ordered the prosciutto and risotto croquettes appetizers. They were delicious! My wife had the stuffed snapper, it was amazing. My son and I got the Kan Kan chops. The skin part was crispy and the meat on the chops were very tender. One of our guests had the gandules risotto, was delicious as well. Calichi Gastrobar is an outstanding place to bring family and friends. You won't be disappointed. Regarding the price, no worries. You will get what you are paying for, great food and courteous service. Their menu is amazing and very well presented with a great view. I will definitely come back. Omar Ramos

Very nice welcome Jan was our server, appetizer's were the best overall, do not recommend the ceviche it was not as good as you expect, my husband was served the wrong plate he still ate it, not impressed by the drinks, dessert was delicious!

Amazing place, has beautiful views, excellent people that make you want to come back. Excellent Menu with great options. Food is absolutely delicious, had the Filet Mignon and it was cooked to perfection and the Risotto is superb. Dessert options are totally delicious, which makes it difficult to choose. Everyone at our table enjoyed the food as well as the views and the fresh air. Service was top notch, ask for Arleen. Definitely will return.
