The people at the front desk were very rude, asked if I had a mask (I said no) and then when I asked if they had any, the lady at the front said in an incredibly rude tone, "no" (not a "no, sorry" just a plain "N O" ). Furthermore, when I had told her that I was helping one of the students move some luggage, the SAME lady told me that they didn't accept visitors (which is understandable but was ALSO in a very rude tone). finally, she told me that I had 15 minutes, and then I "had to scram". not even ONE please or thank you, and she always looked at me as if I were scum. I am absolutely disappointed and disgusted with their behavior. I had expected private schools to have better and nicer staff, but I am terribly wrong. the staff were so INCREDIBLY RUDE and had left a VERY bad first impression on me. I extremely encourage the administrators to look into how some of their front desk workers behave with others including students AND guests (even if guests are unwelcome).
I believe that there are better ways to communicate with guests (i.e. saying "thank you", "please", and "sorry") instead of being blatantly rude, and not looking at people as if they were dog poop on the ground.
