On the Grid : Call me CACAO!

"The one and only mono-cafe in Kyiv and Ukraine specializing in cooking real natural cocoa. Mainly famous for its unique cocoa recipes and recognizable neat design. Its interior was inspired by Mayan and Aztec cultures, the folks that were the first to cook cocoa drinks, and masterly combine branded graphics with hutsul ornaments of handmade chairs and carpets. Enjoy your time on the unbelievably cosy windowsill with a cup of a freshly brewed, full-bodied and rich cocoa drink." - MacPaw

Darling spot filled with interesting decor and themed art. The menu is quite large (not just cocoa!) and the staff are helpful. The place attracts a trendy crowd of college-aged kids in addition to families and high schoolers. It seems like a popular place to chat with your friends or study on the weekend. We loved our cocoa, you add your own sugar to taste.

A nice cozy place with great organic chocolate drinks and fruit snacks. However, do not expect to find low Ukrainian prices here - you would pay as much as in Poland or Italy. But yes, it's Kyiv, the city centre, and you wouldn't find anything much cheaper than that:)

A very nice little place, very well-lit, with large windows and quite a few options of where to seat, including enough cushions to ho around. Very agreeable, if a little too pricey for me. I guess it was worth it, though: my wife still remembers the almonds served with her hot cocoa, which was a pleasant surprise.

Very cosy place to drink hot cocoa) Pricey, but still worth of the visit! Interior reminds on a small house somewhere in Himalayas) Great selection of cocoa tastes!

Menu has English translations! The Cacao drinks are delicious and different. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good to visit.

Cozy place, nice menu. Cafè specialized on cacao, hot chocolate and milkshakes, but the main point is cacao. And it is a place, where there is no powder-made cacao with plenty of tastes

Good, nicely served sandwiches and lemonade (!). Lavender cacao wasn't very good, but not bad. I really liked the decor :)

Very quiet and cozy place, suitable for both working and quiet talk with friends. They serve huge cups of cacao and tasty cookies! However, tea is not so great there and I wish they included coffee in the menu too.
