Callisto Cocktail Bar

We saw Callisto mentioned on social media and knew that we needed to try it out. We were able to easily schedule a time online and our wait in the "gallery" was maybe ~10 minutes. The gallery is much smaller than I anticipated, which makes it much more suspicious than I would have expected. But the whole process was pretty fun. The drinks were really good, and the service was fantastic. We did get some appetizers to snack on while we sat with our drinks. The food was all excellent. There was a lot of detail put into the atmosphere here. From the decorations, to the music, and the utensils, it was all very details and fit perfectly. We had a great time and will be recommending it to others!

Stopped in for some much-needed girls’ time, and wow — what a find! From the moment we stepped in, the speakeasy vibe totally transported us. Hidden doors, moody lighting, and that perfect balance of class and mystery — it felt like we’d stumbled into the coolest secret in town. The ambience and aesthetics were absolutely on point — every corner was Instagram-worthy without trying too hard. Now, let’s talk drinks — because, oh my goodness, they were ah-mazing! 🍸 Creative, bold, and dangerously easy to keep ordering (which we definitely did… lost count somewhere after round three 😅). Each cocktail came out looking like a work of art and tasted even better. The bartenders clearly know what they’re doing — total mixology magic. The tapas were the perfect complement — flavorful, well-portioned, and a great variety to nibble between all those sips. We tried a little bit of everything and loved every bite. Overall, this spot nailed it: chic, fun, and effortlessly cool. Perfect for catching up, laughing way too loud, or snuggling with your date. Highly recommend for a girls’ night, date, a date night or just because you deserve a good cocktail! 🥂

Cocktails and drinks have been consistently great each time! If you love tiki cocktails, you should definitely visit. Zombie is amazing. The popcorn and cauliflower are delicious. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Atmosphere is fantastic. Love Calliato and will keep going back!

The food was superb — every dish was flavorful and beautifully done. The whole concept of a restaurant tucked inside a little art shop/gallery is such a vibe. You walk through and suddenly you're in this chic, stylish dining space that feels special from the moment you sit down. The service was fantastic, warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The drink menu was large but easy to navigate, and every cocktail we tried was spot-on and delicious. It was lively inside (a little noisy), but still totally easy to talk and hear each other. Overall, such a fun, memorable spot. Can’t wait to go back. ✨

This is such a cool spot. We absolutely loved the ambience, and the staff is amazing. As soon as we were able to get by that the entrance was really an art gallery, we were solid. the bartender, Denver, was absolutely extraordinary. He is a local And is very engaging if you sit at the bar. The entire staff, the food and the drinks are awesome. Highly recommend.

Me and my fiancé saw this place online and thought it was really cool. The art is amazing and I believe since the popularity online they have probably had a boost in business. The drinks are amazing and presentation is beautiful! Diego was our server and he did very well explaining everything to us. We brought my mom out because she was also interested and she loved the steak❤️

Everything about this bar is and was perfect. From the execution, to the decorations, the organization of the bar, the service and drinks. I hope this place stays open and has success for many years. Every single drink tastes amazing with a beautiful presentation!! There was not one drink that was disliked by our group. The service is amazing, the bottles behind the bartenders on the shelves are even organized perfectly. Everything is so clean and in its place, the decorations are beautiful. All of the staff is so respectful, professional, inviting, fun and working the entire time. Saw no workers on their phones and all were all contributing to the service. This will 100% a bar that I recommend (have already recommended) and will continue to come back to.

Callisto is such a cool spot. Not only because it's a secret speakeasy in Bentonville but also for how well curated the ambiance and service is. If you're looking for a chill but upscale bar for a date night or hang with your crew Callisto is the spot.

Do your best to find time to make it here. I'm sure everyone says it, but this is the perfect portal to a tropical get away. The drinks are well balanced, good local beers, and the cauliflower dish is INCREDIBLE. The specials are really neat as well. I like the historical context you get with each beverage and the staff is attentive and knowledgeable. I used to go to a theme park tiki bar where I grew up, but this makes up for the class and ambiance that was always missing.

The drinks are creative, complicated and delicious. You want to keep ordering them just to see what comes out! Food portions are small, but the flavors are big. Had a special green curry chicken skewer that was spicy, layered, fresh and high quality. The ambiance is unreal. From the secret door to stepping into a tropical oasis with a lounge vibe. Or server, Morgan was friendly, attentive, and had great recommendations and menu knowledge. She even helped us find a breakfast place for tomorrow since we're only here for the night.

Very overpriced, think $17-$18 cocktails. Tho it's NYC guys. It's Arkansas. Lower the cost about 20-25% and I may consider coming back. Until then, nope.

When you want to make drinking an experience this is the type of place you look for. Our staff was amazing and very helpful. Our drink were not only tasty but they also came in the funnest of vessels. We were able to have a conversation but the music was also playing loud enough to feel like a celebration.

This place during the holidays is a MUST ! I recommend getting a reservation. They greeted us at the door with complimentary drinks. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The menu is elevated but has something for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and the food! Cant wait to come back :)

I went for my 21 and it was amazing! The food is great. We got the pork belly skewers and crab Rangoon. The bartender even came over and did shots with me. The atmosphere is gorgeous. Will be coming back!

Had a great experience. Diego was an excellent waiter and was very attentive to my gluten allergy. Because of how severe it is, they weren't comfortable making me the squid, despite it being GF due to cross-contamination. We ended up having both the pork belly and steak kabobs. We absolutely loved the pork belly!

Newest and most high end bar/restaurant in town. Their drinks are high quality and well prepared. We even saw our bartender throw out a drink when he sampled it. They care about what they serve here. Ambience is gorgeous and feels like you're in a big city. Perfect place for a date or friends. Reservations are recommended, but don't be afraid to walk in. They usually have space at the bar. New favorite cocktail spot!

The place is a hidden gem with a cool, sexy vibe. I have not had the food yet but looks like it would be good. Drinks and service are great. Prices are on the higher end.

Lets just say that I came here 2 times in 1 week because I loved my first experience so much! I will say that a reservation is a must but its definitely worth it. This place 100% feels like a speakeasy and the art in the gallery is also beautiful and fun to look at. Once you walk in you get a glass of champagne and its a very nice welcome into the bar. I had made a reservation specifically for the bar but we were seated in a booth. As soon as I mentioned this to the host, they reseated us at the bar. I truly loved the attention to service. The other reason the service was amazing was our bartender Gael (sorry if I spelt your name wrong). He was super generous to share recommendations and trials of drinks we might like. (I ordered the Alphonso Mango drink because of this the next time I came here). Lastly, the drinks are all worth it too! They are nice and spirit forward with fun flavors. None of the fruits feel fake at all which I really like. I genuinely have enjoyed every cocktail I've had here and can't wait to make my way through the menu on my next visits.

If you're a local- you've probably heard the rumors about the hot new speak easy vibe bar in downtown Bentonville. All the great things you're hearing? Absolutely true. This place is AMAZING. Midnight art gallery turns into the most welcoming hidden bar. The staff is all very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food and drinks are top tier. The menu offers a wide selection, and I haven't met a drink or bite I haven't loved. If you're local or visiting - I highly recommend trying Callisto. I always recommend making a reservation online to ensure an open seat. 10/10.

Such a cool bar! Reservations are highly recommended! When I walked in, I didn't feel like I was in Bentonville anymore! I cannot wait to explore this bar some more! The Gilded Merchant reminded me of a smoothie. It was really refreshing and a little thicker because of the banana used. The Java Hai is basically like your expresso martini! It's so tasty!

The long awaited Callisto visit! Love the idea of a late night gallery/speakeasy for this sleepy little town! It's refreshing to have a reverse happy hour option as well. The gallery attendent was super accommodating as we had a last minute add to our party. The drink menu is extensive and while I appreciate many options, it became hard to make a decision when 80% of the menu is variations of a tiki drink. I truly enjoyed my selection in cocktail and was able to sit back, cozy up, and enjoy the midnight beats. No DJ was present during my reservation time, but I see the potential. The vibe was very low lit, velour and soft, with heavy wooden accents. The only weird part was the back alley exit...I can see that being an issue eventually. Overall, it was a strong 4/5 experience for me and looking forward to coming back for the food!

This speakeasy had a great atmosphere. It had a mid century look and feel. We went here for our 43 wedding anniversary. We were met with a glass of champagne. We had 3 guys who were friendly and served us well. They were James, Denver and Ben. They were great. Trebuchet gave us great recommendations. We had already eaten so we had the popcorn, amazing! I highly recommend this place. Make reservations, you have a better chance of getting in.

Very cool place, majority of the drinks were great. There were a couple of questionable ones. The inside was super pretty. They were out of a lot drinks.

Beautiful experience. You are entering an art gallery with LOCAL artist before you're brought to this dim lit restaurant in the back. The service was incredible, everyone was so sweet and VERY attentive. This food is so delicious. I got the crab rangoons & the steak skewers! The portions are smaller than usual but to me was perfect since I went for the drinks! The drinks are made so beautifully with so much detail I can't wait to be back!

This is my second time at Callisto and it's one of my favorite bars!! Speakeasy vibes make the experience so much fun! The staff are so friendly and helpful! Food and drinks are all so good and made well! If you want to visit over the weekend you HAVE to see a reservation! They book up quick! Next time I am in Bentonville, I will visit again!

This is the most delightful Speakeasy Tiki bar we've ever been to. It was perfect! The drinks were fabulous. The food was fantastic. We will return.

Definitely the most unusual and exceptional experience! Entering through a secret door in an art gallery, you are greeted with a glass of champagne... All employees are so friendly and helpful... Drinks are one of a kind and delicious... The Hurricane Popcorn is addictive! We can't wait to go back next Saturday for dinner

Callisto is my favorite bar in town and even when I travel I haven't been able to find a place that compares. Everything from the drawn menu items to the cute glassware is beyond expectation. To keep it simple, the food/ service/ and atmosphere deserves 10 out of 5 stars. I will always come back.

5 stars for the art....but that's as far as we made it. Don't make the trip here as a walk-in and expect to get in. Have a reservation. My wife and I were turned away as the space was "completely booked."

Art gallery is cute, ambience of the restaurant was nice. Otherwise, my friend and I had a questionable experience when we went to have a drink for my birthday after work this week. (My girl is in the service industry and I've bartended in the past. So, this experience was strange enough for me to write a review.) We were seated at the bar and ordered a rum flight and tasty cocktail. There was an older gentleman that obviously had some drinks in him that came over and was super chatty. We engaged in conversation, excused some of his behavior and he was nice to order myself a birthday drink and my friend one, also. The man got louder over time but again, he had been there for a bit. After a while, I look up and the manager looked at me and mouthed "are you ok?" I let her know we were fine and proceeded to ask the gentleman to sit instead of stand because obviously he was making a bit of a scene. I ordered myself another of the "birthday drink" (since it was delicious.) The gentleman ended up leaving (I also asked if he was ok to drive) and we asked for our checks shortly after. The bartender proceeded to tell us that he hadn't put alcohol in the drinks after our initial order since "they were looking out for us" which we both were confused by because we hadn't been there long and (come to find out, had 1 beverage) and weren't the drunk ones. But ok, we appreciate the concern...even though that's a little deceiving. I asked the bartender why he didn't put alcohol in the second drink I ordered personally and it was a similar answer. They put the beverage on my friend's tab when she reminded them that she hadn't ordered it, which they took off since the gentleman had already placed a $50 bill in the bartender's hand and had asked to make sure he didn't owe anything before he left, as well. So, point being: *If you are concerned with a female's wellbeing or if someone has had too much to drink, control the primary source of the issue.

This place is amazing! First off, the speakeasy type vibe is a very cool addition to downtown Bentonville and it makes you feel like you truly enter into another world. The vibe is super inviting and fun. We were greeted with a glass of Prosecco upon entering, which made it extra special. The food that we ordered was delicious! And they offer options for gluten free, dairy free, and vegan accommodations. Drinks were also amazing! We will definitely be back to try more, as there are a ton of great drink options.

Service was quick, and food was actually delicious. We ordered multiple dishes and we loved every bit of it. The drinks were pretty good as well. The atmosphere was almost intoxicating with dimmed lights, beautiful decor, and the bar was pretty. Highly recommend eating here!

I don't like to leave less than stellar reviews. But I have to admit that of my 2 times visiting here, the service was insufferably slow. We sat for 12-15 minutes at one of the bar tables before deciding to go to the bar and dine. The only person that greeted us was the water/bus boy? We watched the servers repeatedly walk by us and do things like clean the bar and other tables rather than greet and take our order (money). The drinks are great. Food is okay. Service is a crapshoot at best. We went on industry night (Sunday) so don't if that had anything to do with anything. But they could use some eyes on the floor so people don't have to wait 20 minutes to get a drink in.

What a cool place! first off the drinks and the food are all amazing. we had the popcorn, korean fried cauliflower and the salt and pepper squid and they were all delicious. the drinks are fun and they have an extensive menu but the best part is the glossary in the back explaining some of the lesser known ingredients, such a life saver. But the best part of all was the service, pretty sure he's a manager but the gentleman working on 4/3/25 at 11pm was AMAZING. his service was out of this world, i'm very grateful for establishments that prioritize service because unfortunately they're hard to come by nowadays. Callisto is a must try we definitely will be back!

I have traveled Europe, Asia, Africa, and every state in the US. On my travels, I have enjoyed cocktails at some of the finest places. Callisto rivals them all. I visit Callisto every time I am in Bentonville, and every cocktail I've had is well balanced, unique, and delicious. The ingredients are all fresh and everything is crafted in house. The food is equally as top quality as the drinks. The chef has designed each menu item with care. The venue is beautiful, and the service is impeccable. Callisto is among the finest craft cocktail bars you can visit.
