Great service. Food came out quick and hot. Started out with a santa fe chicken soup. Had a great kick and a rich taste. Chicken Caesars wrap with added bacon was perfect. Finished with chicken fajita which was so plentiful, had to take home. Can’t wait to go back on prime rib nights..

​The menu here is absolutely massive—a ton of items from bar snacks to sushi. While the variety is great for picky eaters, the food quality is generally just pretty average. It's decent, but nothing you'll rave about. ​The staff, however, is really nice! They are friendly and welcoming. Just be aware that the service can be slow, so plan accordingly and don't expect a quick meal. ​The biggest reason to visit Calloways is for the entertainment tie-in. You can buy beer from the bar and walk it over to the neighboring mini golf and driving range. This convenience makes it a fantastic, casual destination for a fun afternoon with friends or family.

It’s been a LONG time coming for a review of this place! My wife and I have enjoyed coming here for a few years now. We come on Tuesdays and Thursdays for their pizza and burger specials. Let me say thatvTHE DONT SKIMP on anything. This is the ONLY local place with consistent food, service and quality. Also, the only place that has GREAT specials EVERY DAY!!! Now we are even coming for the lunch specials!! We appreciate this place because we can AFFORD to go out to eat! THANK YOU CALLOWAYS!!!!

They always have specials!! Staff is always so friendly. The Sunday night Italian dinner is amazing big portions for a $9.95. Good place good food, good atmosphere, good music. Prices are great. $2.50 beer special 11:30-6. French onion soup and seafood bisque was good! The burgers are good and the taco pizza is my favorite it’s a must try! Always good service! I highly Recommend I've never been disappointed here it's my go to spot

We had my sisters surprise 40th get together here this evening. This was probably my 4th or 5th event at this establishment. Every time has been a big success. Chris has always been such a great host and the staff is fantastic. Thank you for making this so easy for us. We will definitely be back again.

Fun bar/restaurant with a hometown feel. I got the BLT twice. First time was wit the standard toasted read, but since the bacon is very think and crispy, it tastes too dry. Second time I went I asked for untoasted bread and it was much better. My mother in law really liked the pizza. I was there for $5 burger night and my wife and I both enjoyed them very much. I came with a large party of friends and they were very accommodating. The sushi was good but nothing special. My wife likes the French onion soup but it was too salty for my liking. The disco fries were also too salty because the gravy is salty, but next time I would jut ask for unsalted fries and I'm sure it would be fine. They also have an Italian salad on the menu that my wife enjoyed very much. We have been here I think 6 times since we moved to West Creek 2 years ago and will continue to come back.

I came for half priced PRIME RIB Mondays. I have no words. The most tender 16oz slab of meat ever! Fresh spinach on the side with a little garlic and mashed potatoes & a cold draft beer! The atmosphere was calm, and not very loud which I appreciate and a nostalgic decor throughout. I'll be a regular here. HANDS DOWN this was a great choice I highly recommend!

Worst corned beef dinner ever! So sad that our st Patrick's birthday lunch was diminished by the beef. It was shaved, long slices of a mystery meet that looked like dull, gray turkey bacon and tasted worse. It was served in a bowl of (too much) broth with cabbage, potatoes and carrots which were decent. The service was fine and the bagpipe (very) loud so the place was festive and the company great...and that's what mattered.

I try to support local businesses. I would think they would try to be better since other restaurants have opened near them. I have never experienced such a negative vibe. Bartenders are miserable. Servers are miserable. Not one employee smiles. No interactions with bartender. Seems like they are told to not interact with guests. Host are miserable. I am amazed how bad customer service is. Drinks are great. Food is good. But omg miserable atmosphere. Place has so much potential. It's actually baffling how bad the atmosphere is!

We stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday since we were in the area. I've been here before and wanted to try it again. We waited a bit for service but it was worth it. My partner started with the wings. He said they were crispy and delicious! He then got a bacon cheeseburger and fries. The fries were an up charge from potato chips which we thought was weird. He said the burger was very dry and only came with 2 small strips of bacon. He liked the fries. I had the Cobb salad which was one of the best Cobbs I ever had. It was loaded with chicken, blue cheese, eggs, olives, tomatoes and cheddar cheese. I almost finished it but couldn't. I forgot to take pics when we were served so I took them a bit late. Overall, a good meal and we will be returning. The place is overly decorated in my opinion but that's just me. PS: please do something about the potholes in your parking lot. I had to drive like it was an obstacle course!

Fun place to grab a bite and some drinks, hit some golf balls, play pool, or just hang out in general. There's something for everyone here! The restaurant menu is huge. Some might even say overwhelming. What shocked me is how good the sushi was. It really hit the spot. It's a little rice heavy but the fish is super fresh and flavorful. There's a ton of seating and also a decent size bar. The best part about calloways is the driving range. My boyfriend came and hit some balls before we had lunch and it was perfect. They also have a bar with pool and other games that stays open pretty late in the night if you're looking for a casual place to chill. My friends and I played a few games of pool which was fun and relaxing. Plenty of space in this bar. I can't wait to come back!

Finally decided to stop in and try this place since mud city had a 2 hour wait. It's a nice place, the service was subpar but the FOOD!!! Never again. Ordered the shrimp scampi and hubby got the fried shrimp ( he said he compared it to buying the popcorn shrimp in a bag from Walmart), my plate tasted off and had the smell of sink water. The shrimp tasted weird so I spoke with the waitress and she goes and says well I just served it to my other table and they loved it. So she proceeded to offer me something else which I opt for crab cake dinner and as I waited I started to feel very sick, food came 20 mins later and I just about laughed cause the crab cakes looked like pancakes flat and mushy. I will submit a picture as I've seen other reviews of their crab cakes and mine definitely didn't look the same. We decided to just leave and didn't even finish anything. I had a few bites of the crab cake and the salad, hubby ate half of his fries. It's safe to say we tried this place but wouldn't return. Update 2 Hours later, food poisoning! Go figure.. good thing I didn't eat more of the scampi

They only have 2 handicapped spaces and their parking lot is made of stones that are uneven and difficult to walkj on for a handicapped person.

Bartender(s) are horrific... wear a uniform, OMG cut off jeans? Everyone has different outfits? terrible. Bartender with curly hair, real loud was high as a kite... talking about the owner, that he was terrible, Very unprofessional. She has been there for 15 years? Then why are you still there? I must say the food is awesome and yes good portions. Bartender has to watch her mouth... curses alot and was talking about a "fag" to these two guys across the bar... they could have been together, very insensitive.

Best place around... price is right and the food & waitstaff top notch! My kids do not live near us so when they come for a visit Calloway's is their first choice! It's been our go to place for many years! And very family oriented!

Went here twice with my parents as part of our long beach vacation. Our last and final visit was on Tuesday June 11th 2024. There was actually a 30 minute wait in which we had to wait for table. the restaurant was very crowded. Luckily after 15/20 minutes we were finally able to sit. we actually had the same server as we did last time. my mom recognized her lol. This time, we all ordered waters, which were refilled constantly. For meals, I decided on trying the sushi, since i looked at the menu last time, but couldn't decide on anything. I ordered the salmon and avocado roll for appetezer, and the beyond burger as my meal. The server was nice and asked me if i wanted cheese, and i decided to not have the cheese on there. appreciated that! My mom had the chicken alfredo with a salad, and my dad had a seafood fri diablo with salad. The salads, and the sushi all came out together. Sushi was very good, and enjoyable, highly recommend! Loved the garlic and the soy sauce too. Entrees were also very good. We took boxes home, paid via credit card and left a cash tip. highly recommend trying this restaurant!

It's been a few years since we've been here and I don't know why. I love the casual, unpretentiousness of this place. Reminds me how restaurants on LBI used to be many years ago. I was lured in by the Paul Bunyan Bloody Mary's and they didn't disappoint. Hubs and I split one and it hit the spot. I got the southern eggs benedict and hubs got the the Bart Benny plate. Both came with delicious hash browns which were more like creamer potato's cut in quarters. Great value as the bill all in was 36.00. They have an extensive menu so whatever you are looking for, I'm sure they have it. Looking forward to the half price prime rib and 6.00 Tito martinis the next Monday I can make it.

Stopped in Friday Night Labor Day weekend to celebrate my Cousin's work promotion.. I had Long Island Ice Tea it was very good, all the food was plentiful and good.. Waitress was very attentive and plenty more of large TVs on the walls if you want to watch your sports team..

Callaway's is a really fun bar/restaurant! The food is delicious & they have specials every day! Monday is prime rib day as well as 1/2 price Tito's vodka drinks! The servers are friendly yet professional & quite knowledgeable. Make reservations...it's usually crowded!

I tell you the food and the prices keep me and my family coming back, all the time, I've never ate anything that I did not like, the place is not nothing to look at , but the staff and the owner have always been hospitable and food is always hot for such a busy establishment keep the great work up Calloways

The atmosphere and staff are great the food is amazing especially Monday night when it's half price all sizes. The quality is beyond amazing.

We had Nicole, she was very nice and she didn't yell tonight, which I guess she did the night before (someone yelped it in their review). She was on it and our food came out very quickly. The food was great, their soups are amazing and are super rich, so honestly you could eat them as a meal itself. I definitely think their Monday night ribeye deal is amazing. Definitely would come back.

Food was great! We went for brunch and I felt the menu was greatly priced. We had monster mimosas which were big for only $5. Another friend has the Bloody Mary and a small pitcher was$5. The bar was a little slow for our server so that was a bit disappointing we ended up having to cancel our last order of drinks due to waiting atleast over 15mins for them and not getting them Our server was great and apologized. Would still go again but hoping for quicker Service.

Cheeseburger Tuesday is always outstanding. Service is quite good and we love going to Calloways ANY NIGHT!!

We stopped for a quick bite Friday night. 8:15 Just a table for 2. We were seated immediately. Couple of guys came in right behind us and were seated right next to us. Their waitress showed up within a few minutes and took their drink order. Their drinks came. After seeing 4 different servers in our area taking care of the various tables we decided 10-15 minute wait of not even being acknowledged by a server was enough. We got up to leave and I went to the front desk and told the hostess who seated us the table was empty and they could use it as we never had a server approach us. My wife noticed the large table we passed by the entrance had empty drinks and still had their menus as well. Obviously received first round of drinks but no order taken.

Servicers are overwhelmed and not pleasant, very abrupt. Poor management. Place needs cleaning inside. Food is not that great.

Went tonight for an impromptu birthday dinner for my daughter and grandchild. Kim was an amazing server and was not only highly efficient but she took the time to tell us all about the nightly specials during the week. She is a gem where hospitality is fading away quickly at most restaurants. Had prime rib- had to take half my dinner home and a generous pour on the Josh Pinot noir. My daughter loved her salad entree and my granddaughter was happy with her kids meal ( and some of my prime rib.) Kim really made us feel at home and she brought the gang to sing HB! I can't wait to go back!

Bartender lady working at 430 today is miserable and her skills are 0 out of 10, she should be flipping hamburgers at Macdonalds with no public interaction. Terrible , owner is the same way, it is true incompetence starts at the top. Go somewhere else.

Went in Friday 4pm the bar seats were all taken and there was only one bar table vacant. We sat down and a waitress told us that we had to see the hostess first. We chose to leave and made a note to never return. B'Bye!

Overall pretty good. We were attended to frequently with almost no wait on a Sunday. We shared the pretzel, and I had a sushi roll and my partner had a brunch item. Pretzel was delicious. My sushi was great m, which is always hit or miss especially somewhere new and not specifically sushi. My partners brunch item came and was definitely over cooked as the over easy egg was not runny at all.

Ordered to go food and pick up was easy and quick. Food was packaged good. People were very nice and place was busy. Got a mushroom cheeseburger and fries also had corned beef sandwich food was delicious. Place was crowded and just alittle noisy. Games on tv Owner was there and was helpful. Going back again.

What a gem! Just a fun place to drop in with friends to have a beer and a nosh. I wish it was closer to home - I'd definitely become a regular here. They have great specials. We had Monster Bloody Mary's (5.00 for 4 shots) which are on special on the weekend. The bartender also gave us a heads up on The Ultimate Grilled Cheese (not on the menu but def try it). Filet Mignon, Gouda, fried onions, bacon, tomato and a orange marmalade. Wow. So good. Don't get fooled by the sterile outside and the fact it's next to a driving range - it's anything but stuffy... Tons of TVs and fun eclectic environment. If you are in the area - go here.

Can't beat the daily specials!! Sundays and Mondays especially!! Always very busy so get there early.

A (upscale) sports bar attached to a driving range? Of course I'm going. Cheap vodka specials past happy hour? Of course I'm staying! $2 Titos on Friday/Saturday? That's unheard of! I'm pretty sure I had 5 vodka sodas. Thankfully not that filling because I also snarfed down a ton of food. Got the clams casino (ate them all myself) as well as one of their famous bar pizzas. Thin crust, cheesy AF, cooked perfectly. Great with pepperoni, but still perfect without. Definitely a must do. The crowd is definitely interesting. A whole mix of everyone visiting the island as well as locals. Lots of seating, but if you don't have a reservation, bar is your best bet for a smaller group.

I will say that when we got there my child was all ready in a rough state. and that made our arrival pretty tough. but when we met our waiter, i let him know we were having a rough start. And, not only did he have words of wisdom for me, but let us know that it was also just fine if we were determined to continue in our rough go of things. and he really went out of his way to make our visit extraordinary, and made us feel super special. Our food was terrific! The atmosphere was also terrific. But, our server really reached us in a way that I really think only he could. I am so very thankful that he was determined to make our visit a great one, thank you so much!!!!

Good prime rib but hard potatoes and string beans not cooked. Good price on special for the ribs.

I like this place and you can't beat their nightly specials, especially the Prime Rib on a Monday. This is a solid "go to" if you are looking for a nice meal at a reasonable price. I would not consider this a gourmet restaurant, but for the prices, it is very good. I would say that sometimes the service at the bar can be slow and one bartender in particular seems to consistently be in a bad mood! Small stuff though!!

5 stars for brunch. Attentive and friendly servers. Great prices. $5 tremendous bloody Mary's and best coffee in Jersey. I can only speak to the Southern Benny but can't imagining ordering anything else. Fried cutlets on that waffle were superb. I'll let the picture speak for itself. Big Screens to watch the game and the Giants even got a rare win today. Maybe this is a good luck type of place. Excited to come back and show it off to amigos and compadres.

Food was great but Brenda sucked. (Name was actually Nicole but who cares). She yelled at me a few times cause the music was too loud. We tried to make router for better service but it didn't work. Don't get Nicole or Brenda, whatever. Love the owner responds in a funny way. Lucky that the food was good. Also liked how he walked by our table with drink dishes and empty drinks without assisting.

Part amusement park and part restaurant this place has been around for decades and has taken a piece of my heart. here you can find everything from amusement park rides to a golf range, and when you're tired of that you can go inside to the bar for a drink or grab a quick bite to eat. they have everything from a range of great wings and bar food all the way to broiled seafood dinner platters. The seafood is fresh every time I go I get the clams casino and the scallops, and believe me I am extremely picky with seafood and these people do it right! holidays here are also extremely fun I have come for the Christmas party and also for the live band on St. Patrick's Day.

Love this place. If you have picky eaters there is something for everyone. Theres sushi, sandwiches, dinners, great specials

I'm posting 5 stars here. I'm not a local, from North J and down in AC to see DKM Saturday night. Decided to drive north to find a place to eat brunch/lunch and drove and drove. On and off GSP. Back on RT 9 and crossed our fingers. And there it was... So they've apparently got a lot going on here (check the website!). We wandered in (literally) and made our way to hostess stand. Good crowd around noon, big bar. Say promptly and given menus. Lots of food and drink choices. Up walks our server, and I hope his name is Chris because that's my recollection. My apologies, I'm a bit hard of hearing prematurely. Anyway, awesome young man. Took our drink orders. My wife had the Paul Bunyan Bloody Mary, I ordered a Guinness draft because I'm shanty Irish. The bloody came in a small pitcher!!! For $5!!!! Holy Vodka! Chris took food order, omelet for my wife and a meatball Sammy for me. Great stuff. The FF were top notch. This is getting long but to wrap it up, our server (Chris?) was a really great guy, you could see the place was managed well (manager/owner) always walking around and checking on things and most of all, happy customers! I've already started texting friends down that way if they go!!!

Service was great, food was excellent and the bartender poors a strong drink. Try the Cajun burger and Long Island iced tea-- great combo for a Thursday night dinner. I've been there a few times now and the food and service never disappoints. My dad got the shrimp tacos and he too said they were *chefs kiss*.

Everyday has something special going on. Good food great specials for food and drinks. Great place to visit.

Generally a nice place to dine, but this time there were flies in the dining room and long black hairs stuck to the white table cloth. Food was fine (nothing amazing), except the onion rings were way over-fried. Service was friendly, but manager a bit brusque. Might give it another try - but maybe not. Lots of other choices.

Hole in the wall watering hole. After 830 apps are half off and what a steal this is. Whole spread for 2 under 25 bucks. My go to off the island spot !

There is a large selection from Sushi, pizza, bar food to real meals. Service is always good. Mostly there on Weekends which are busy during peak dining hours. Ambiance is a large sports bar in a main area and dining rooms off to the side a distance from the bar area.

Dinner was excellent. We had cheese curds and taco pizza(was really good) and unbelievable grilled cheese. The service was excellent. Adam was so much fun and a great server. We stopped for a drink at the range bar and hit some golf balls. What a fun night out.

Calloway's never disappoints... my favorites are extra crispy bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich and sushi Love Boat for 2! Weekends are great for trying their giant Bloody Mary's!!

BEST pizza around!! Actually best everything! From the cheesy garlic bread to the cheesesteaks. It's sad they don't deliver but the drive is definitely worth the food!

LOVE this place... been here numerous times and haven't had a bad experience in any category.... ALWAYS some type of special/promotion going on, whether Happy Hour, late night apps or our fav Monday night prime rib!!!! GREAT atmosphere, COLD drafts and an owner who is always there WORKING and making sure everyone and everything is in order.... he cares about his place and his community and it shows!!!!!
