CALMA Berlin Mitte by little BIG hotels

Super hotel and stuff! The girl at reception was friendly and let me take hot water to clean baby’s bottles even when her shift was finished at 21:00. It’s so nice from her side. The room was clean, shower was comfortable. View from my room was to the yard, very calm place to stay with little baby. Hotel is in city Center, everything is close to it. We will come back 👍

Me and my girlfriend just got back from a lovely break in Berlin and this hotel was a good, reasonably priced place to stay. ||Upon arrival the staff member on the front desk was very welcoming.||The hotel itself is in a good location from the centre of Berlin. There are tram stops right near the hotel, or you can opt to walk which takes about 10/15 minutes to Alexander Platz and another 10 minutes to the Brandenburg Gate. ||There’s also plenty of bars / restaurants, all within a miles radius. ||The hotel is very well kept, smells clean, very modern and bright / airy. ||We paid for a XS room and was given room 315 which were quite disappointed with as it was never advertised as having the shower in the actual bedroom (it’s literally a cupboard with folding doors) and the bathroom had frosted glass but you could still see whoever was in there if a light was on (not the most romantic picture). ||The bed was basically shoe horned into the room and it was extremely uncomfortable. Neither of us had a good night sleep at all. ||Anyway, we spoke to reception and they were very understanding. It was zero hassle for them and they moved us to another room, which is also a XS room but it was levels above what we’d been given originally…a separate shower/bathroom and no frosted glass.||The rest of the stay was great. The rooms were cleaned everyday and towels replaced.||My only criticisms overall would be the fact the rooms don’t have a kettle or cups and you can only get free coffee from downstairs between 1pm and 9pm. The TVs also have Disney / Netflix but wouldn’t work so you’re left with limited channels (that aren’t German). The beds have two single duvets as oppose to doubles and the pillows are really not great.||Overall, I would stay here again but it wouldn’t be my first choice. ||It’s a good budget hotel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel CALMA Berlin Mitte, and I must commend the incredibly warm and cordial receptionists who made my stay exceptionally welcoming. Not to mention, the spaciousness of the rooms provided a real sense of comfort and luxury that truly enhanced my experience. Highly recommend this gem in the heart of Berlin for anyone looking for a relaxing and accommodating stay!

Comfy and clean rooms, unbeatable location, situated in a quiet neighborhood, close to center of Berlin, public transports, shops, restaurants etc. The breakfast is very satisfactory, there is free coffee / tea from 13.00 to 21.00 which is a big plus for me. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Overall I had a very pleasant stay, highly recommended for solo travelers or families.

Very good room but bathroom too small compared to very big size of room. Needs a desk light in room - power wasted using main lights. Other features of room were excellent. Check-in not smooth because reception/building was closed when I arrived at 23:45. Booking.com info had not mentioned this. I phoned number on my booking info and was instructed how to access building. I hired a bike from hotel which was great. Staff was excellent - special mention to receptionist Abdel. Hotel location excellent.

Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. Digital check in, key access etc practical and convenient and feels reassurung from a safety perspective. Staff friendly and helpful. Only one minor downside for me was lack of tea/coffee making facilities but the restaurant is great and lots of cafes close by so it wouldn’t deter from recommending

Clean rooms, good service, friendly staff. It is one of the most affordable hotels you can find in Berlin mitte. The hotel's location is perfect and lots of options for public transport are available.

Me and my friends had a nice stay at the Hotel CALMA Berlin Mitte! Every time we returned from our walks, we were welcomed back to a clean and tidy room. The staff at the hotel were polite and helpful to provide information about the city. It was also a nice comfort to have hot running water available all day long. Moreover, the quietness of the accommodation ensured a peaceful and restful atmosphere, which was much appreciated after a long day exploring the city. We totally recommend it for a stay in Berlin, especially for people who want to explore the downtown and be near to all means of public transport.
