Calvin's Coffee House

What a fabulous gem! I needed a place to work for about an hour and this place is WONDERFUL. The prices are low to reasonable and the quality is outstanding. The barista asked how my Thanksgiving was and actually cared. The total vibe was welcoming and relaxing. I am obviously not a college student, but no one made me feel like a creeper for needing to get out of the rain, have a cup of tea, and work. The only ick was the bathroom. The bathroom was very clean, but so so old, bit of nostalgia from my grandparents home with the sinks and low toilets. The divider stalls reminded me of my old church bathrooms. Overall though, just a fantastic place to be.

I love this place to study, hang with friends, and drink some bomb coffee. The barista (i think her name was Mia) was the sweetest person ever and made me the best drink I've had in a long time. Highly recommend!!!

Very inclusive atmosphere, which I appreciate. But the towing process is just wrong. I had my car towed while I was either in the restroom or focused on a virtual meeting. It looks like someone shouts out for car owners and if nobody answers, they take your car. $130 to get it back.

Honestly the coffee is not that good, they always mess up my order and give me what THEY think I ordered 😍 Not too good of a study spot bc it is noisy w people chatting but I guess decent if your close to the music or crim building

This place is wonderful!!! The coffee is yummy and refreshing, the workers are the kindest people ever, and the atmosphere is great. It is dimly lit, quiet, and a pretty good spot if you have a class on zoom and need somewhere to go. This is probably my favorite spot on campus :)

Power goes out in my office.... needed a quiet place (in air conditioning) to do a little work. This hidden gem was perfect! People are friendly, cold brew was good, and the inside was as peaceful as could be for having 10 well-spaced patrons. A definite step up from the places I was considering to get some work done.
