Cambridge Coach House

A very nice overnight though I could base myself here for a few days to explore the area. The gardens are well kept & lovely with birds in the tree line. Communication with reception was helpful & gracious. The room is thoughtfully appointed and comfy. ✔️Heat pump. ✔️Good water pressure. ✔️Comfy reading chairs with a selection of books on hand. ✔️Outdoor chair & table. *It’s not the owner’s fault there’s nearby construction. They’ll sort it all out in time.

This was a lovely cottage with a pretty garden view. The host was kind and helpful. The rooms each had their own theme and decor that I enjoyed. The shower water pressure was great as well. The location was nice, just outside of town, but close enough for us to see and explore as we had planned.

Good basic accommodations. Reasonable price. Housing development going on around this property, so unsealed long driveway through empty area being developed. Quite not much traffic noise 🙂

Lovely rooms, clean, furnished with small refrigerator, electric kettle and a few dishes/cutlery/ tea and coffee. |The grounds are nicely landscaped. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location if going to Rotorua or Hobbiton. Definitely would recommend!

This was a good sized, clean room with a kitchenette. The garden in the back was lovely. The bed was ok, not lumpy but the whole thing bounced every time my husband rolled over. We could also hear the nearby road noise more than expected.

Very disappointed as seemed like a lovely place to stay. On arrival the room did not smell nice at all...... will not go into that. The Wi-Fi didn't connect to my husband's phone and only connected for a few seconds to my phone. We didn't get the room we thought we were getting either. We were booked into the Orient room and ended up in the Eastern room. There is no iron or ironing board, so spent the day in a very creased linen shirt that looked like I had slept in it.

Simple but nicely appointed chalet style rooms. Only stayed one night but it was comfortable and convenient. A few minutes drive into Cambridge, which is an unexpectedly charming country town with very good restaurants. Highly recommend the smokehouse.

Great location, but unfortunately, there's a bit of gravel leading up to the property. The room is clean and tidy, although it doesn't quite meet motel/hotel standards does not a proper reception. There's room for improvement . thanks for having us
