Cambridge Coach House

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best place ever! Cambridge Coach House is honestly such a standout. The rooms are spotless, really clean and comfortable, with everything you need. The setting is beautiful, peaceful gardens that make you feel like you’re away from it all, but you’re still only a couple minutes from town. The owners are super friendly and welcoming, you feel looked after straight away. It’s the perfect spot to relax, and also ideal if you’re heading out to places like Hobbiton or Lake Karapiro. Couldn’t fault a thing, highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back.

A very nice overnight though I could base myself here for a few days to explore the area. The gardens are well kept & lovely with birds in the tree line. Communication with reception was helpful & gracious. The room is thoughtfully appointed and comfy. ✔️Heat pump. ✔️Good water pressure. ✔️Comfy reading chairs with a selection of books on hand. ✔️Outdoor chair & table. *It’s not the owner’s fault there’s nearby construction. They’ll sort it all out in time.

This was a lovely cottage with a pretty garden view. The host was kind and helpful. The rooms each had their own theme and decor that I enjoyed. The shower water pressure was great as well. The location was nice, just outside of town, but close enough for us to see and explore as we had planned.

Good basic accommodations. Reasonable price. Housing development going on around this property, so unsealed long driveway through empty area being developed. Quite not much traffic noise 🙂

This was a good sized, clean room with a kitchenette. The garden in the back was lovely. The bed was ok, not lumpy but the whole thing bounced every time my husband rolled over. We could also hear the nearby road noise more than expected.

Lovely rooms, clean, furnished with small refrigerator, electric kettle and a few dishes/cutlery/ tea and coffee. |The grounds are nicely landscaped. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location if going to Rotorua or Hobbiton. Definitely would recommend!

Excellent location, very friendly and quiet. Accommodation is of the high standards - Due to location, this being in the Countryside, very peaceful. Highly recommended. A car is a MUST or 30/45 mins walk to Cambridge- taxis unreliable! Overall my stay was excellent. The grounds of the Accommodation are well maintained and awesome for people who love a stroll. A very romantic setting.

A great place to stay if you are going to Hobbiton and Waitomo. It is a little tucked away from the main centre of Cambridge but a lovely welcome and great directions from the owner. Very well kept gardens which the rooms each have a door onto with a small patio. I was really impressed with the service as I left something behind and the owner very kindly posted it to me. Thank you.
