We recently stayed at Cambridge Suites Toronto and had a great experience from start to finish. The location is ideal—right in the heart of downtown, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Our suite was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, offering a comfortable home base during our stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our visit. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. We appreciated the little touches like the in-room amenities and the quiet, relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. Overall, we were very satisfied and will definitely return on our next trip to Toronto. Highly recommend!

We stayed at this hotel last week for 4 nights. While it could benefit from a bit of a refresh, it remains a great option in the heart of downtown if you’re looking for a quiet, clean, safe, and comfortable place to stay. The bed in our room was incredibly comfortable! From the housekeeping staff to the front desk and nighttime security, everyone was respectful and courteous. The hotel has rules in place that, in my opinion, help ensure a secure environment and a restful night’s sleep, something that can be hard to find in a loud and hectic city like Toronto. If you’re looking for a place to party or entertain non-guests in your room, this may not be the right fit. But if you value peace, comfort, and professionalism, this is a solid choice. We’ll definitely be back. Keep up the good work, and thank you for a wonderful stay!

Was pleasantly surprised with how much space was in the room. My partner and I only booked the most inexpensive one, but there was so much room! We were expecting just the bed a desk and the bathroom. So it was a very pleasant surprise how spacious it was! The bed was super comfy.|Also, this was very centrally located. Made going out to explore super easy. Especially if you needed to go back to grab a sweater as it started to cool off. |Also staff were super nice, we got there to drop off our bags at around 930 am. Check-in wasn't until 4 PM, but they asked if we'd want to be called if our room was ready earlier. They called us by 12:45 which was lovely as we had been up since 2:30 am.|Everything about our stay was great. Room was a great price in comparison to other hotels in the area, the staff were friendly, the location itself was perfect and the room itself was great! When we come back for our next anniversary we'll be sure to stay here.

Google
An excellent stay. The suite was spacious and very clean and the staff were really helpful. ||Great location, just off Yonge Street. 10 minutes walk to Union Station. 15 to the ferry to The Islands. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby, including the Eaton Centre. ||The place could benefit from some renovation. It looks a little worn but overall I'm glad I chose it. ||The cleaners come daily and do a great job. ||One thing that irritated me was the safe was too high up for me (room 2002) so I had to climb on a chair to reach it. Not sure why they chose to put it up there as there were other easier places it could go. ||The vent system for the air con was a little noisy at night even when the air con was off and there was some street noise from nearby construction. Nothing too bad but worth knowing about if you're a very light sleeper. Thanks to the very helpful staff. ||A great place to stay. ||

I have stayed here many times. The location works well for all the downtown attractions and quick accessibility to the subway station. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. As with many hotels the couches are a bit worn but the hotel does work to replace anything that requires replacing. I highly recommend this hotel for location, service and reasonable prices!

We loved staying here. The rooms are clean and spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The downtown Toronto location was excellent, a short walk to Toronto’s subway and bus and streetcars. The hotel offers coffee and muffins from 7 to 9 am and there is a grocery store half a block away, along with plenty of restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will happily stay here again.

10/10 experience May-June 2025 1. Service: Our check in was so quick, thankfully, as we arrived at 12:30 am. They offered us a free bottle of wine and only authorized $150 deposit. That's nothing for hotel standards! 2. Room: Immaculate cleanliness. We habitually inspect towels and under sheets and in crevices and we couldn't find any faults or signs of nastiness. The sheer size of the room we got (1803), nay, the suite we got, was delightful. 3. Cleaning: We only stayed two nights and room cleaning happened once but they replaced all toiletries, towels, cutlery, cups, coffee pods, without us asking and organized everything in the room. Incredible that this is the bar now but it was achieved very well. 4. Notes to be aware: There is no breakfast or dining room. But you are literal steps away from the heart of Toronto so this isn't a big deal. We didn't explore to find an ice room but we knew from the kind check-in person that there are no vending machines in the building. However, there is a 24/7 store nearby. For the price ($247/night on avg), Cambridge Suites blew us away. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay in the core of downtown Toronto. We definitely will be coming back!

Google
The hotel was clean and the staff were amazing! It was well priced and has a great location in the city. Easy to get to and about 30 mins walk at most from the big attractions. ||One downside is the restaurant isn’t open which we only found out after booking but didn’t affect our stay. Wallpaper in our room needed redoing but again didn’t affect the stay so still 5 stars.

Yelp
Wow better than expected! Nice large room with separate living space and a door to separate the bedroom. Except Embassy suites finding a hotel with actual separate rooms for what the call a "suite" Is difficult, and really shouldn't be. Super soft bed! Best we have had in a hotel in ages. Great location if you want to be downtown. Walking to all kinds of food options. Staff was very very nice. Only thing we didn't like was the parking garage.. very steep drive down and tight underground parking. But doesn't lose a star for that. The negative reviews about the no guest policy late at night I don't understand. The website does tell you the rule as well as signs in the elevators. It's their hotel they can make the rules. Will stay there again next time we visit Toronto.

Yelp
Awesome staff, excellent location, super comfortable beds, clean rooms, and a secure building. No bar or restaurant but you really don't need it here in the middle of downtown. Convenient to aquarium, convention centers, CN tower, hockey hall of fame. I will be back.

Yelp
We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is a great location, convient to PATH walking/subway stations, Yonge/Dundas square & Downtown. There are lots of places to eat nearby & 2 drug stores/pharmacies across the street. Staff were very kind & helpful and I felt very secure as there was a security guard outside after 10pm. I overall enjoyed my stay here, the room seemed clean but looked older and just like it needs some upgrades/replaced items like a damaged headboard. The rooms themselves are a great size. I would recommend for anyone especially if you need to be in this area of town.

Yelp
Spacious, clean room, comfortable beds, nice layout, great central location across the street from a grocery store. Plenty of restaurants and shopping spots within walking distance. Highly recommended and would definitely return the next time I'm in Toronto.

Yelp
Stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of May for a quick trip to Toronto. We took a 6 am flight from Newark so we got to the hotel at 9ish. They told us our room wouldn't be available until 3 (check-in is at 4) but at least they were able to store our luggage. We ended up returning to the hotel at around 2 and luckily, our room was ready earlier than the quoted time. Here are some pros and cons of the stay: Pros: -There's a mini fridge, microwave, k-cup machine and wet bar -In-room safe -Bed and pillows were pretty comfortable -USB ports -Centrally located in Downtown area. There are lots of restaurants nearby -Night light in the bathroom -Nice toiletries -Daily room cleaning. Lots of hotels nowadays only clean your room upon request ever since Covid -Two TVs -Top floor has a hot tub and a sauna, though we didn't have time to use it -Free coffee and pre-packaged pastries in the lobby in the morning -Plenty of counter space on the bathroom sink Cons: -Rooms are a bit dated but you can tell they're trying to add small details here and there (i.e. USB ports) -Bathroom needs to be redone. Both the shower and the sink were kind of jankity. The water from the sink's faucet gets extremely hot and the drain was a bit clogged I don't think I would stay again until they renovate the bathroom. However, other than that, it was overall a great and comfortable stay.

Yelp
Horrible service, terrible management!!!!! You get treated horribly here when re-entering after 10 pm on the weekends where management is waiting to check you in by asking for your name and room number out in the open. I have never heard or experienced this anywhere else before. My friends also were treated horribly. I do not recommend this place at all.

Yelp
Great hotel in a great location! Super convenient to get to and to get around the city. The rooms were big and ours had a great view. Staff was super friendly, Samuel especially, he offered us water after walking around the city all day. We would definitely stay here again. Also it has a Jacuzzi and a sauna, both of which were great at the end of the day.

Yelp
Everything was amazing ! Great room - very clean - friendly staff- Great location - near everything and near all transport services

Yelp
We stayed here for four nights in April. They were very professional and considerate. When we requested something they were good in accommodating us. The bathroom had the most wear and tear. Peeling wallpaper and dark stains. No mildew around the tub. It had a nice large refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Some cups, plates and utensils. The knife couldn't cut through anything. Rest of the room was clean. We had a Suite so nice and roomy. It was across from the elevator but I couldn't hear it. Some noise from the room above but relatively quiet on the 18th floor. They offer coffee and muffins in the morning. No tea. Muffins were pre packaged not fresh. This hotel is in a great location. 24 hour market across the street, many restaurants close by, St. Lawrence 4 blks away and near plenty of attractions. At first wifi was a problem. Had to go to reception for help. First time he made it seem like I wasn't entering the password incorrectly because it worked when he put it in. The second time I went down the lady explained the problem. They updated their wifi because some devices had problems staying connected. She directed me to the new site and no more problems. Safe was also a problem. It was really high up. I needed a chair to reach into it. I would stay again.

Yelp
We are up here for medical procedure for 7 days needed something reasonable and close to St Michael's hospital. Walking distance to hospital, Eatons centre and many other things. I don't not recommend large vehicles for the underground parking not a lot of room for parking big trucks or big SUVs and the parking is not included in the stay which is 27$ a day. When you arrive to the hotel it can be a little confusing to find entrance because it's down a small alley off of the street. But once your there the little alley entrance is nice and quiet. In the same location is the underground parking no need to leave the area for the parking. Hotel is clean, rooms are clean, cleaning staff is amazing and accommodating. Upon entering you get 3 bottles of water which is nice because there is none in room. You can buy from mini bar as a last resort. In the morning hotel offers packaged muffins and coffee downstairs at entrance area. Lots of coffee shops near hotel, au pain doré, Tim hortons, Starbucks and many more. I will post a small video of the entrance area

Yelp
Terrible Hotel...Good Location Room smelled of cigarette smoke. Let front desk know and they said not possible...told them about the cigarette butts outside our window sill, they then asked if we wanted to change rooms, at 11pm not happening. Carpets old and gross. Saw a few ladies of the night going up with clients while waiting in the lobby. Way-Overpriced for what you get...could not wait to leave this hotel. I will pay more money just to stay in a different hotel.

Yelp
Was reminiscing this pomeriggio about my lengthy stay at the dingy Cambridge Suites two Christmases ago . . . specifically my discovery of a drowned adult cockroach in the sink, and, later that night, a platoon of baby roaches exploring the walls of the toilet. To be fair I was allowed to switch rooms.

Yelp
Excellent location and staff. I can understand some on the reviewers are upset that this hotel discourages a party atmosphere, but the policy benefits the vast majority of guests, couples and families. The Yelp demographics probably includes many in their 20's and 30's who wish to mix travel and party, and if they get a bargain rate on the room through Hotwire or similar, where the hotel policy is not visible, then I agree it is not fair to find out the rules only on arrival. But I am way beyond the party stage and after a ballgame, show, or dinner, it's nice to return to this hotel for a good night's sleep. The rooms are clean and spacious, in the 3 or more times we've visited everything works fine, and the staff, especially housekeeping and front desk, are friendly and helpful. The only reason for not 5-stars is that each time we've been there one of the 3 elevators has been inoperative, even after refurbishment! Makes for a long wait at peak times.

Yelp
Wonderful place! Great location, budget priced, and you get a suite! Would highly recommend the Cambridge Suites Toronto.

Yelp
Very polite staff and a good location. However, the rooms (while large) are tired and showing their age, especially considering the price. We ultimately checked-out early because there were many other options we were more interested in.

Yelp
I'm usually very easy going when it comes to hotel rooms because honestly, who goes on vacation and spends the majority of their time in there? Of course, there are exceptions, but for a city like Toronto, you'd want to go out an explore. Cambridge Suites Hotel is located within walking distance to Eaton Centre, which is a mini Times Square. There's flashy lights, performers, shopping and places to eat. I chose this hotel based on location, but honestly you don't need more than 1 night for Eaton Centre. The size of the rooms are very spacious. You have the living room with a pull out sofa bed and the room with sliding doors. The toilet and shower are separate from the powder room so there's plenty of space to get ready for your day. (tons of counter space) The whirl pool, sauna and gym on the 22nd floor looked as if it were newly renovated. Everything felt quite new and kept very clean. I would have spent more time in the whirl pool if the chlorine wasn't so strong. My skin is sensitive so that may not be the case with others. Now, the things that didn't go so well... The water pressure was terrible. It was already weak to begin with, but on the 2nd last night the shower head just basically just dribbling water down. I had to use the facet to wash my hair. I didn't bother changing rooms or asking anyone to fix it since I had a really early meeting the next day. I needed all the sleep I possibly can. Speaking of sleep, if you're a light sleeper it may be best not to stay at this hotel. The windows weren't very soundproof and I woke up a few times in the night from the cars outside. I'm actually a heavy sleeper, but I still woke up. The iron was leaking so the ironing board was soaked by the time I finished ironing my suits. And the last thing I should mention is that the service was excellent during check in, but check out was a different story. The guy was rude, didn't look us in the eye and gave us one word answers. Basically, the attitude was just "stop bothering me and go away already." Even though we had some set backs, we still had a great time in Toronto. We'll know not to stay here next time.

Yelp
NOT WORTH THE STRESS!!! Nice rooms, nice ppl and location. But please DO NOT study here if you think you're about to have any late night company (after 10pm) because the check names on the room and will make your guest leave. If I am paying to a room, I believe I should have the right to bring visitors as I please as long as we are not doing anything to distrube the peace; hurt anyone or endanger the hotel/it's well being. I feel like I am being watched like I'm am at my parents house at this point. This shouldn't be the way the run a hotel. Checking names and IDS at the door even if someone has a KEY TO THEIR OWN ROOM THAT THEY ARE PAYING FOR! I'll never stay here again. Not worth the stress.

Yelp
Good a large room space. Has a busines center with a printer. All in working order. Service is good and very responsive. Room service is also good. Great bar downstairs with welcoming staff and bartender. Very convenient downtown location. Few drawbacks. The hotel seems built in 70s and outdated. You can see some things like peeling wallpaper, carpet condition, etc. Not a biggie though. Its also a bit overpriced for the given condition. I may return but not before exploring other hotels around the area.

Blueface B.

Yelp
This is the most hostile and aggressive hotel I have ever stayed at. DO NOT BOOK HERE. If you want to bring friends over after a night out they will not let you and don't care if the friend has to sleep outside. It did not feel like a vacation, it felt like a prison. If you choose to leave your hotel room after 10 pm, you will be greeted by a security guard interrogating you and asking if you even are a guest here. How rude. I felt like my group was targeted since we got there. As soon as it turned 10 pm we were instructed to stop talking and sit in silence. We were not blasting music or being loud at all. It felt like a prison, our every move was monitored. Management failed to communicate with my group that they were "complaints" and when I asked for the time stamps on when we were being "loud" the staff got quiet. Once again the staff were making things up. I asked why am I being told of "complaints" at 2 am in the morning and not at the moment the "complaints" happen, staff excuse was that management isn't on duty right now. Do not book with this hotel their policy is the absolute worst. They don't even allow you to speak after 10 pm. I felt targeted because of our skin colour and the assumptions they made. My group did not throw any parties or were being disruptive.

Yelp
The rooms are big and nice and thats all about it. If you bring guest after certain hour they charge you $25 for each person it's absurd I payed a lot of money to stay here for a week , I don't need to pay any extra dollar if I want to bring Guest to my room, it's hotel!!!!!! If you want to have any coffee in the morning totally forget about it . there is no coffee and the restaurant wasn't working the whole week so you also don't have food what kind of hotel is that?! Definitely not recommend! You can find at the same price much better hotel and service

I Love F.

Yelp
This place is a home away from home. Cozy location walking distance from Nathan Square, shopping and restaurants. A big plus is that it's not a party hotel where drunk people stay up late or drunk friends walking around the lobby. Family friendly hotel that is perfect to bring little ones. Officially our go to spot now.

Yelp
We stayed here for 4 days and loved it. I'm a snob when it comes to hotels -- they have to be clean, modern, chic and spacious. I was a bit worried when I booked because the suite was so cheap. I thought there would be a catch -- but I was wrong. It is definitely my favorite suite/eco hotel in Toronto. The hotel and suite were very spacious, clean and modern. The staff were extremely friendly and nice. The complimentary breakfast buffet was much more comprehensive than I had anticipated. The mini-bar was suprisingly reasonably priced. The restaurant was great -- awesome salmon. I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone looking for a top rated hotel but not willing to pay an arm and a leg. GREAT DEAL.

Yelp
"Wheelchair accessible" room is not accessible. I asked for pictures of the wheelchair accessible room and measurements, and they made me sign an agreement before sending me the pictures that I would not post them anywhere. They claimed it was because the pictures "are not professional quality" but it's actually because the rooms are not actually accessible, per AODA law. I cannot post the pictures, but here are the measurements they gave me: Main suite door is 29" The living room to vanity area is 27" The bedroom to vanity area is 29" The bathroom doors are 30 1/2" wide My wheelchair wouldn't even be able to get through the main door. Even if you don't have a disability that would require a special room, I encourage you to support other businesses who provide fully wheelchair accessible options.

Yelp
The staff at this hotel is PHENOMENAL! specifically the two night security guards Lee and Vlad as well as the front desk attendant Samuel. Had very pleasant conversations with all of them both nights of my stay as well as sharing lots of laughs. They gave me plenty of tips on things to do in the area as I'm from the states and always had a smile on their face. The hotel itself is beautiful! Highly recommend staying here! WILL be coming back on our next trip! Thanks for making our trip awesome!

Yelp
We just stayed here from March 13-15. We had a bright, clean room that was a great price for its central location in the heart of downtown. The most comfortable bed. A great location within easy walking distance of tons of tourist attractions, including the CN Tower. Friendly, courteous staff. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I have stayed here a two times and I am not sure why I returned the second time. The first time I checked in, the staff was very rude and seemed rushed. I didn't think too much of it. The second time around I had an altercation with security who accused me of trying to keep guests overnight in the room who were not registered. I told him that the guests were simply picking up their belongings and leaving and he could wait outside our room to ensure that the guests would leave. The security literally told my friend that she wasn't even allowed in the lobby and made her wait outside in the pouring rain at night. I was so embarrassed that a hotel I selected was causing so much fuss. I contacted the manager and he emailed back saying that it was our fault. I found on their facebook page that this is quite common at the hotel and they treat all their "younger" guests with the assumption that we are holding parties and trying to sneak in guests. I have never been more humiliated and treated with disgust by a hotel before and I have stayed in hotels all over the world. STAY AWAY- there are plenty of amazing hotels downtown who do not judge and are accommodating to the needs of their guests- try Doubletree by Hilton, Mariott and the Grand hotel- all amazing and CARING.

David P.

Yelp
TWO WORDS: BED BUGS Good location but mediocre service... and then discovered there were other "guests" in the room.

Yelp
With an upcoming girls trip planned to Toronto for a weekend, I was on the hunt for a hotel that had free parking, room service, free wifi, and a prime location (close to The Eaton Center, Chinatown, and clubs/bars). Cambridge Suites had everything that we were looking for at a very decent price and although the parking wasn't free, it was only $27 a night w/ in and out privileges. Other hotels were priced at $45 and up a night for valet and no in and out privileges. When we arrived to the hotel, I parked out front and went in through the front glass doors of the hotel that lead me to the elegant and sophisticated styled lobby. I was warmly welcomed by staff and was comfortably checked-in, parked in the underground heated garage, and in our room all within 25 minutes or less. Our room was located on the fifth floor, assuming we had just some basic room, with some lame view, I wasn't too thrilled but kept an open mind. I was here to have fun with my best friend anyway not to hang out in the room the whole trip! Walking up to the door, I realized we actually had a corner room. (My expectations changed a little bit) We opened the door and the first thing we saw was a narrow hallway and a huge window at the end inside a larger room. "Interesting" I thought. Continuing down the hallway we noticed the bathroom door on the right, that actually had an additional door on the other side that lead to what looked like bedroom! "Oh em gee this room is huge!" Those were my exact thoughts at that moment. Continuing on and reaching the end of the hallway, the room opened up into a living area, complete with a couch for 3, flat screen, coffee table, mini bar and decent sized desk! Opening up the french doors to our right we walked into the bedroom area. There was a king sized bed, another flat screen, and wall the wall windows. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. Simply amazing! We actually walked circles in the hotel room a few times, through the bathroom, to the living room, and through the bedroom - still surprised by the size, haha! We then unpacked a little bit and ordered some room service. After our eyes popped out of our heads from the size of the room and our stomachs satisfied from the room service, we decided to explore the rest of the hotel for a little bit. We took the elevator up to one of the top floors and found a small gym with a decent sized hot tub or spa tub.. which ever you want to call it! We later enjoyed this one of our mornings after a night out. It was extremely refreshing and the winter views from this level were phenomenal. One of the nights we got back to our hotel really late. I think it was about 2am. We really wanted to order some room service again, but it was closed for the night. The front desk associate offered to bring us some menus of locations that were still open and could deliver to us, we thought the gesture was very nice and so he came up to our room and brought them to us ! Another night we purchased food and forgot to grab ketchup! We called the front desk again to see if they had any, and without hesitation, within 5 minutes, they brought us a huge cup full! The staff was so incredibly kind, thoughtful and courteous. These are just a few examples of how the staff went above and beyond and in my opinion, that's a A+ from me. I've stayed in many hotels in many different cities, including Toronto. So I know that you're lucky if you get a bed that just fits into a teeny tiny small room, with enough space to just barely slide into the bathroom. Not only was our room bigger than the "city norm" at Cambridge Suites, it was bigger than I could have even imagined. I had a wonderful experience, my best friend did too. Next time we have another girls trip we will for sure be staying here.

Yelp
This hotel offers the best things I was looking for in a hotel. A suite with separate room and a pull-out bed for the kids. Downtown location close to metro/subway stations, public transportation, and restaurants. A reasonable price. Roomy. Clean. Firm mattress, my back did not complain like it usually does when I sleep on squishy mattress. A refrigerator. Other hotels I looked into were much more expensive and offered less of what I wanted. There is a whirlpool on the top 22nd floor. It has a nice view to the downtown streets and buildings, but my kids would have preferred a real swimming pool. Parking is extra. I wished it wasn't $25/night, but I guess I kind of expected the fee since we're in a big city where parking spaces are sparse. We only rented a car for two days for the trip to Niagra Falls. The rest of the time we spent in Toronto, we took subways, buses, and street cars. You can pretty much catch any public transportation from this location. On the last night, we ordered room service. My husband had the Wild Lake Erie White Fish and I got the Shrimp and Scallops Risotto. I thought my risotto was rightly seasoned and spiced. The seafood was decent. My husband cleaned his plate up, so I took it that he liked his too.

Yelp
Very close to everything, convenient to most sightseeing areas, very friendly staff BUT the room was extremely cold at night. We were told the HEATER is " closed in Summer " It's September, the temperature is 56 degrees at night ( now). We were told they have one portable heater but it's Broken.... we will be staying here for few more days :( Giving 5 star for the front desk staff 2 star for luck of accommodation:(

Yelp
Of course there were a few, unimportant things that could be better but the shinning positives blow them away. On a cost basis the US dollar is worth $1.25 Canadian. On a value basis for this hotel each dollar in cost is worth $2 value. It is beautiful. The people are very friendly and helpful. The suite was wonderful. Even the chairs were all comfortable. My wife loved huge bed (T V in that room too) and the couch was big enough for me to even get a good sleep. We liked the whirlpool . The gym looked good but we were on vacation. This place is good for that being located in walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Even the restaurants near by are good.

L J.

Yelp
I'm giving this 2 stars based on the service and the experience. Not the location and hotel itself. Booked online with a credit card and then they wouldn't accept a visa debit card for room deposit upon arrival. After speaking with the manager they said they would do it because of 2 things.... 1 I was from 8 hours away and 2 I worked for a bank. The booking was 2 king beds and then when I got to my room it was 2 doubles. I brought my email down to the front desk showing the 2 king reservation and was told that because I work for a major bank and they get some sort of discount that regardless of what the email says that I have to take what's left over. So this didn't go well for me or my family staying with me. They wouldn't change it as they said there was none available. Room was nice and location was good. Basically kiddy corner to the Eaton center!

JJ S.

Yelp
From the very start, my experience with this hotel was positive. When I first checked in, I had some questions about cancelling my extra guest fee because the third person was no longer able to make it with us. Although they were unable to cancel the fee due to us booking with another website, the service was superbly friendly. The room was also great. Everything was clean, and room service always did an amazing job (plus, they're also super friendly!) I really appreciated having a fridge in the room too because I love stocking up on water whenever I travel. You would think that having a fridge should be a standard at all hotels, but most seem not to have them. Anyways, the suite was spacious, and I appreciated the door between the bedroom and main room. The location is amazing - it is literally blocks from Eaton Center, and many shopping options and dining options are within walking distance. If you would like to go further out, uber/lyft is always an option. Great hotel! I really appreciated the friendliness of the employees most of all.

Yelp
Very nice hotel in the business district of Toronto. Very nice comfortable suite rooms, friendly staff. A good place to visit if you're looking for a quiet hotel during your stay.

Yelp
PROS: Big rooms and the location! The rooms also come with two flat screen TVs. Free wifi, ice and lots of channels on the TV. The elevators are being upgrading so they were really slow, but I imagine this being a pro later when they're upgraded. Also, they had candy and signs to show they understand the problem. Bed was comfy. The front desk also accommodated a 12PM checkout, instead of 11 which was amazing. CONS: The rooms were outdated. Our bathtub and shower had visible wear marks...that, well, I didn't use it for the one night we stayed there. It was a bit disturbing. Everything was pretty outdated in the room besides the TVs. Views weren't that great. Construction sounds in the morning is common. When we checked in, our keys didn't work so we had to go back down to get that fixed. When we checked out, the front desk told us we had incidentals...and when we said we stayed there just for one night, she said "I know." Wait...what? So HOW on earth would you know we have incidentals?! Anyways, it was resolved shortly because...well, we didn't have any incidentals. Another annoying mishap was our cleaner who went into our room THREE TIMES in the morning. THREE. We told her to come back THREE times. But it's not too bad because we should have put the "shh" sign up. However, when we tell you to come back later...later does not mean 15 minutes later.

Yelp
This was a wonderful hotel! We came here back in May and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel room was very clean and was comfortable overall. The location is in a very convenient area and it's easy to get to various attractions. The price was reasonable (for an expensive city) and we would stay here again if we're in Toronto again. Of note, my fiancée had recently obtained her Ph.D and they had a complimentary bottle of champagne waiting for us in the room, which was such a wonderful and unexpected treat!

Yelp
This was truly one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a hotel. I am not using hyperbole, nor am I being factious. I quite literally travel for a living. I'm constantly on the road. This experience was unlike any other. From check in (where Sheila at the front desk aggressively inquired about whether or not I would have any guests...this is a suite...I'm 31 years old...if I want to have a friend over for wine how in the world is that your business? Not to mention she stated to me after I apologized if I seemed flustered as I just got off a flight...she stated...I swear to you..."yeah well it's been a long day for me too, I don't know what you want me to tell you.") to check-out (where I had numerous incorrect charges on my bill...I asked to speak to a manager not once...not twice...but three times to no avail or call back as promised...). I at one point was actually screaming to speak to a manager. I was told my card would not be charged (it was), I was told that a manager would call me (they didn't). The best part? When reversing my charges the woman at the front desk did the opposite of reverse the charge...she charged me again. I'm still without words. The suite itself was fine. Not even remotely worth the fuss or the price. I will never, ever stay here again and I will advise all of my friends and colleagues (who travel as much as I do) to never stay here as well. You should be ashamed if this is how you think hotels are run. I have never written a hotel review before but here we are. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Yelp
Hotel and room was nice / clean - workout facility was clean - sauna could have been hotter - WIFI network was horrible - and needed it for work / project that I was in town for. Kept getting dropped - and technical staff could not explain why they were having problems. Issues from Thursday night when I checked in through Monday evening.... would work fine for a while and then while I stayed connected to their wireless network - would get errors that Internet was not available.

Yelp
If I could give less than 1 star I would. Horrible service and rude staff. It feels like a jail. The staff come to check on you after 11pm if it's noisy. They treat they're customers with no respect and you're better off spending the money elsewhere. The rooms and decor are outdated and the customer experience is sub-par... which blows my mind. These are reasons why AirBNB is thriving. Would not recommend to anyone unless you're completely out of options and have to stay here as the ultimate last resort... and even then I'd much rather stay at a hostel.

Yelp
I loved this hotel. During our 10-day road trip, this was as close to perfect as a hotel can be, and we stayed in several very nice places. The rooms are the size of a small one-bedroom apartment! Although there is no proper kitchen we had a sink, a mini-fridge, and a small countertop area. The living area is spacious and contained a TV, sofa, desk, and armchair with enough space - perfect for relaxing or planning out the day's activities. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom is bigger than my bathroom at home. Cambridge Suites is PERFECT for the pickiest traveler and especially if you're staying for a few nights. Check in was easy. Parking is available in the attached garage, but you have to notify the hotel of your license plate number so that your car isn't towed, and so you are charged appropriately. The staff was friendly and polite during the check-in and check-out process. I think we paid around $130/night for this room via a Hotwire deal. Parking was an additional $27/night, which isn't great, but it isn't terrible either. Considering we stayed in a convenient location and in a very comfortable hotel, I'd say we got a great deal.

Yelp
Fantastic hotel in an ideal tourist location. Cambridge Suites offers beautiful suites for 1-4 people that has outstanding useful facilities. Great kitchen facilities and a diverse mini bar! I'm also still trying to get over the 37 inch full HD TV that was in my bedroom and in the living area. But wait, it gets better! I have never had such an amazing full breakfast - 3 flavours of jam, eggs, beans, sausage, bacon, hash brown, 2 types of toast, fruit and yoghurt's! Stuffed like a Turkey! They also have a limousine service that is just for the hotel. So if you want to leave in style, this is the way to do it! Go on, it's only $4 more than a usual taxi! Just a short walk out the building, take a right and you are on the world famous Yonge Street! Fabulous surroundings, friendly polite staff and great great location! Book early to avoid disappointment!

Yelp
Pretty solid location and the rooms were really clean and the staff is extremely helpful! Walking distance to Eaton center and is in downtown area. The parking elevator is different than the elevator you need to used to get to your rooms but does the job! We stayed here one night and planned out food and tourist trips with the helful concirege!!!

Yelp
$17.99 +tax for a movie rental. I still can't believe it's that much to order a movie in your room. I can watch the same movies in theaters for less. Call me cheap but God, that's just not right. The room was $120 a night which was fairly priced. Clean rooms. Nice setup. Deluxe suite with a kitchen, 2 TVs, mini fridge and king bed. Plenty of space for 2. Snacks and beverages already stocked in the fridge for you, for an extra cost of course. We didn't add any of that to our bill. Good location. $18 a day for parking but includes in and out privileges. Front counter was helpful and professional. I recommend staying here. Good hotel.

Yelp
This was the first hotel I stayed in Toronto. I was trying to find a hotel close to the party scene on King Street. This was as close as I could get. I enjoyed the suite extended stay feel to the hotel. Nice luxurious furnishings. Cool sound system. It was great on space. I felt comfortable entertaining friends as I got dressed in the other room. I forgot a few items like a toothbrush and toothpaste. I appreciated the shopping list service offered.

Yelp
Im only giving one star because there's no option to give zero star. The service was REALLY rude. Im educated and travelled the world and this is the WORST place I have ever stayed at. They were super rude, zero customer service and I felt like I was getting profiled. I will never stay here again and I would advice anyone not to stay there even if that means a few extra dollars...that will save you a whole lot of headache.

Yelp
Let's see. Half the light switches didnt work and I was in a king suite. The cleaner regularly left a dirty rag in my bathroom after cleaning. The elevator we're not working half the time. The door to my room was left unlocked post cleaning one day. Outdated furniture and feel to the entire place. And to top it off there's a no guest policy.. this hotel is not the bottom of the barrel but definitely not for four star and at their price point..

Yelp
We stayed at the hotel for New Years it was a decent experience. The hotel was secure and clean. The problem I had was the shower was not clean at all the drain and tiling looked like they needed to be changed. Along with that when we ordered a cot the hotel tried to nick and dime even more and ask for 25 bucks. Which I believe wasn't necessary due to the fact that hotels usually give them for free. They probably believed it was New Years so they needed more beds for people. Also, the receptionist was nice enough to give us late check out. Which was nice and it was free especially for New Years. It was a decent hotel and worth the money. Minus the cot issue and the bathroom. Parking is crazy expensive here also it will put you in the hole about 30 bucks for one night!

Yelp
This hotel is beautiful. I have been here three times and will be going back. Last year I went with my brothers and parents in June 2012 to celebrate our graduations and to visit family. Fabulous rooms, very spacious. We had two rooms for a family of 6. There is a couch that pulls out into a bed. There are two flat screen T.Vs. The size of the room is about 550 sq ft, almost like a mini apartment/studio. This year July 2013, 10 of my family members went to visit cousins and grandparents again and stayed here. Once again it was fabulous with a continental breakfast included again for two nights three days. There is a very small gym as well on the 22nd floor which is very nice. Very close to subway and buses and catching a taxi is easy. Staff is very friendly, helpful, respectful and will always come back here when in Canada :)
