Camden Arms Hotel

A lovely place to stay. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Room was ok although could do with more power sockets for square pin plugs. Pleasant bar with reasonable prices. Breakfast was very good. Having the benefit of a bar and a lunchtime and evening menu is a bonus. Great location for exploring. The room was clean. Bathroom showing a little wear but nothing to affect our stay. Very quiet. Plenty of parking onsite. Would stay there again. Price is ok.

Stayed there for the weekend with friends and family, on recommendation of friends who live close by. Staff were superb. So friendly and welcoming, we were well looked after. The chef and support staff worked so hard catering for such a big party. Food was excellent with great variety on the menu. Rooms were comfortable with a nice coffee maker. Had everything we needed. Thank you Simon & co. We will be back.

Superb customer service. This is a meals only review. Not the hotel. Meals at the Camden Arms are always a pleasure. The food is always well prepared, from an extensive menu, in comfortable and friendly surroundings, and competitively priced. On this recent occasion I would like to mention the excellence of the customer service. Particularly I would like to mention the young guy who was serving was really attentive not only to us but to others nearby. He was friendly, polite, questioning, and concerned to please - a real credit to and good advert for the pub... thanks. I am only sorry we didn't pick up his name.

Simon the manger was very friendly and helpful! The hotel was well positioned for a weekend sight seeing and Christmas shopping in London, especially with free parking, and the short commute from Tonbridge Wells.||The room was bigger than we expected and was perfect for our needs. The breakfast was great!||i stay in a lot of hotels for work all over the world and this ranked as.a friendly , welcoming stay . This is somewhere I will definitely return to when I need to be in London.

Warm comfortable hotel with good atmosphere and excellent food. The evenibng meal was superb and the service outstanding - special mention of Alfie who served dinner on 20.12.2025 . Breakfast scrambled egg very tasty - all in all great food. R|Room was comfortable and quiet

Strongly recommend The Camden Arms Hotel. It was welcoming with a good atmosphere and all the staff were very friendly and efficient. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The food was great. Pricing very reasonable. Would definitely book this establishment if 1 was working in the area again.

Giving this hotel 5 stars despite one small niggle (read on). The staff were lovely and very efficient, dealing with both food intolerances and allergies well, and the food was delicious, generous helpings, beautifully cooked. The ambience in the bar/dining room was just right for an old building. Our room was clean, I suppose a bit dated but so what, everything worked and was in good condition. The niggle is that there was no heating in the bathroom, which was otherwise excellent. I do like a warm towel, so a heaated towel rail would have done the trick. Overall though this was a really good experience and we will be going back.
