We stayed for a family birthday celebration chosen for convenient location between various parts of the country; staff were friendly and efficient and the food good. Nice pub atmosphere and very popular although by 10pm very few people were left. Wide choice on menu but fewer smaller options in the evening for a light supper after a big lunch. Some items seem expensive. If we had been on our own would have looked at other local pub for the evening. Disappointing poached eggs not available for breakfast although included in a main dish in the restaurant. Otherwise breakfast good.|Overall pub needs a refurbishment but was fine for 1 night. Our ground floor room was nice and quiet but overlooked a scruffy back garden and access from the pub was through a cold storage area. Pub toilets were tatty with a broken seat and chipped paint. Bedroom was ok but generally dull and ‘tired’ so didn’t feel good value but great you could control the heating. Good bathroom.|Easy to find and good parking but nowhere to walk locally after lunch. One great village shop/post office/general store nearby.

My husband and I stayed here for one night on 17th October. The staff were friendly. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was great - spacious with a non-slip floor. We were on the ground level which made it so easy for getting luggage in and out. We had lunch in the restaurant and the food was really good. We had a good choice for breakfast some of which was cooked to order. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed there for the weekend with friends and family, on recommendation of friends who live close by. Staff were superb. So friendly and welcoming, we were well looked after. The chef and support staff worked so hard catering for such a big party. Food was excellent with great variety on the menu. Rooms were comfortable with a nice coffee maker. Had everything we needed. Thank you Simon & co. We will be back.

I booked this hotel because of its proximity to Tunbridge Wells and also the fact it had a car park. I stayed in the four poster bed room and it did not disappoint. Considering the hotel is on a fairly busy road this room had no noise and a real feeling of luxury about it. We ate in the hotel that evening and the food was fantastic. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was good too with pots of tea and coffee, cooked to order full english.

Superb customer service. This is a meals only review. Not the hotel. Meals at the Camden Arms are always a pleasure. The food is always well prepared, from an extensive menu, in comfortable and friendly surroundings, and competitively priced. On this recent occasion I would like to mention the excellence of the customer service. Particularly I would like to mention the young guy who was serving was really attentive not only to us but to others nearby. He was friendly, polite, questioning, and concerned to please - a real credit to and good advert for the pub... thanks. I am only sorry we didn't pick up his name.

We had an early morning appointment at the local hospital so we booked a family room to take the stress out as we live far away, was great to see ample parking on arrival (including electric charging) a very comfortable family room was welcoming as was the bar and staff. We enjoyed a very tasty evening meal and a great full english breakfast also. We all slept well , nice n quiet , so cannot fault, we would definitely stay here again!

We walked in for a Sunday carvery and were greeted by Beau, who was incredibly polite and helpful. She not only seated us promptly but also made excellent dessert recommendations, which we really appreciated. Probably the best staff member out there!! hoping to return soon

A very good hotel. The bedroom was excellent with a very traditional decor. The bed was comfortable and the facilities were as expected. The bar and restaurant was again very traditional with oak beams, real stone slab floors and comfortable seating and nice tables. The bar provided a very good range of beers, larger wines, cocktails and spirits. The bar service was excellent and prices were reasonable. The restaurant service was friendly and excellent. The menu range was also very good and prices again were very reasonable. Breakfast was included and the choices and service good. Car parking was more than adequate and free. The one disappointment was that there was no bar food available at any time during the afternoon. I would use this hotel again.
