**An Absolutely Perfect Stay in Hikkaduwa** I spent two wonderful nights at this homestay and it exceeded all my expectations! The room was absolutely beautiful - spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Everything I needed was provided, and the attention to detail was impressive. What truly made this experience exceptional was the owner. He went above and beyond in every possible way to ensure my stay was perfect. From the moment I arrived, he was incredibly helpful, offering local recommendations, assisting with transportation, and always available to answer any questions. His hospitality was genuine and warm, making me feel like a welcomed guest rather than just another visitor. The owner’s dedication to making sure I had the best experience possible really stood out. Nothing was too much trouble, and his kindness and generosity made my time in Hikkaduwa truly memorable. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hikkaduwa, whether you’re traveling solo or with others. Beautiful home in with a very sweet owner. Paddy was so kind and helpful with giving suggestions to plan the rest of our trip. Very close to the train station and the beach. It’s a bit further than the touristy area but we ended up preferring that.

I loved it here! It’s beautiful home with greenery, the rooms are clean and cozy. The location is great and the best part was the owner Paddy! Great guy, made our experience here.

Very close to bus station, and train station, and locals shops very close by...but you wouldn't know it, once you have walked the gates! It's a sanctuary, and the rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped (apart from no kettle) we stayed 4 nights here, did book for 3, but I wasn't well enough to travel so we stayed another night. Breakfast on one morning was western, with omelette fruit, yoghurt, toast and jam, juice, tea, and something else I can't remember! When we had breakfast the next day, we were treated to milk rice, accompanied by coconut sambal, daal, and lots of other accompaniments, fruit, omelette and it was all delicious! Paddhi was the star of the show and was just super! So helpful, with suggestions where to go , whether local or about in Sri Lanka, we had lessons in the language, explained about culture in Sri Lanka and Buddhism.. very free with his time and just a lovely chap!! If we ever come this way again, I would definitely visit paddhi again ❤️ and his gardens were beautiful... If I could give more than 5 stars, I would 😍

Thanks to this accommodation and the staff, my stay in Hikkaduwa was truly wonderful. The building, with its classical and majestic architecture, allowed me to feel the history of Sri Lanka. The room was carefully maintained, making it very comfortable. The cinnamon tour was both educational and a great experience. They were very flexible in accommodating our schedule, and I could feel the owner's warm heart. I truly appreciate everything.

The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens that added to the overall serene atmosphere. Service staff, Romesh, was exceptionally attentive, ensuring that our every need was met promptly and with a smile. ||The guesthouse's location is perfect—just 300 meters from the beach and within walking distance of various restaurants, making it a convenient spot to explore the best of Hikkaduwa. ||We will definitely return and highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone visiting Hikkaduwa. It truly is a place that exceeds expectations!

This home stay is located close to everything. Extremely accessible. The rooms are very clean and neat. The garden and home is so very maintained and clean. They have 3 really sweet and friendly dogs. The staff are really sweet and helpful they would go out of their way to serve us breakfast in the garden daily and always ready to help and be at your service. The owner is a very knowledgeable and kind man, the night we arrived we asked if they had dinner unfortunately the kitchen was closed but he gave us the most amazing homemade banana cake I have tasted. It was very kind of him. He recommended us various places to visit and how to save money as well. He even helped us find a doctor when my friend fell ill. The staff and him made our staff so comfortable we did not want to leave. Highly recommended if staying in Hikka, gives you the feeling you are staying in a beautiful private villa.

This is a lovely place to stay in Hikkaduwa which is close by, if you are planning activities in Mirissa. Truly a home away from home atmosphere, with the warm and gracious owner Mr Motilal Padmanabh giving us great company through the evening this New year 's Eve ! Rooms are spacious, clean, and ACs worked fine. Bathrooms were a bit cramped but were clean. The garden is pleasant and well-maintained. Overall a memorable stay.
