Camellia Hill Botanical Garden

I visited this place in late spring, during the seasonal transition and there was still some rain. The flowers are mostly kept in two warehouses, and personally, I preferred Warehouse 2, which also has a café. The walk through the place can be a bit long be prepared for that. I’m not sure if the whole garden will be in full bloom during summer, but if you’re looking for something different from the beach, this could be a nice little stop, but one-time visit is more than enough.

This is a delightful journey through dozens of varieties of camellias, as well as other beautiful plants in a gorgeous setting. Plan to spend a few hours here if you really want to enjoy the garden as much as it deserves to be enjoyed. The tour buses do visit here, but you can find yourself a spot in between, and there are always secret spots and hideaways to get away from everything. We managed to find ourselves alone or nearly so many times in this garden. Just let the crowd rush through, wait for them to pass, and the garden is peaceful again.

Camella Hill is one of the most popular gardens in Jeju, filled with a variety of flowers. I almost skipped it since I thought winter wouldn't be the best time to visit, but I’m glad I looked it up! This place blooms year-round, so there's always something to see. The entrance fee is small, and they give you a map to explore. It’s a great spot for photos—there are so many picturesque areas to snap a pic. While it might be more about capturing the beauty for Instagram than deeply appreciating the garden, it’s still a fun and exciting experience to see what blooms next season. Looking forward to coming back!

Filled with camellia flowers. It’s a great season to go that can see half blossoms as well as about to. The colors are nice, the way that they are arranged is amazing. Great spot for photo taking. The glasshouse has more types for viewing.

Came on a hot scorching summer day and it was full on hydrangea season. No camellias in bloom but the other flowers more than made up for this. The garden is vast and so obviously curated for IG stories and TikTok. That said, not knowing what to expect I was delighted by the whole experience. Your garden loving uncle or aunty heart will be happy.

This place has a very large outdoor garden and indoor garden, and we were able to see many flowers besides camellias as we walked slowly. Also, it was a great honor to visit this place on a day with good weather.

Second visit here, in two different seasons. It felt like two different places. Loved both times we visited. When in Jeju Island, I will always make time to visit this beautiful garden.

We visited this place on 29 april 25. Strongly discourage anyone to come here during the end of April. Its a flower garden with little to no flowers, except for their green house. There are mosquitoes around the ponds.
