Camere a Sud

Was the best B&B we stayed during our trip to Sicily. The host was incredibly helpful. The B&B was very comfortable and clean and nicely decorated. I highly recommend!

out of everywhere i stayed in Sicily it was my favorite! The bed was so comfy and the hostess was super helpful and kind. Definitely stay here if you’re coming to Agrigento!

A mixed bag. The room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was good. We had a small balcony overlooking the main street which we liked, though be warned that it gets very noisy out there on Saturday nights! It's no longer a 'family' environment (they live elsewhere) and there is little interface with the host - although we arrived during the stated check-in slot and had even emailed our ETA in Agrigento there was no-one to let us in. When we did finally see the owner she had little time for our queries. There is no longer any breakfast provided, though this was unclear at the time we booked.

Camere a Sud was a 20 minute uphill walk from the train station. Taking a short taxi ride may be advisable for some. We were fortunate that we saw Elvira at check in time as she was leaving for the day and did not return until we were leaving the next day. The room was artistically decorated and offered a home-like ambiance. Although the shower was small, the bathroom was very clean. She did communicate to us that our driver would be late in picking us up for our next destination.

Great breakfast in regards with the average typical Sicilian ( good but only coffee and pastries, without proteins), nice and good size room, à hosts which speaks also French very well, well located. Right in the middle of the old city to the point where if you have a car, they will offer a good parking at 10 minutes much cheaper than what you will pay yourself. Charming room, modern, great bathroom, windows, and a nice welcome area with music instruments and decorations.

Camere a Sud is a gem, and it would be hard to find a better place to base your travels around the area or to visit the Valley of the Temples. I stayed one night in October with a friend. The B&B is clean, quiet, and elegant. The hostess is very pleasant and well mannered and happy to advise on where to go and how to get there. The breakfast was generous and sustaining, and the rooms were clean, quiet, comfortable, attractive., with nice bed linen and attractive bathrooms. The location is perfect in the middle of Agrigento. I highly recommend this accommodation for a person traveling alone, small families or groups, or couples.

Spent 3 nights here in June. Very convenient location just off the main high street not far from the bus and train stations. Wide choice of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Room was delightful with a comfortable bed and fine art on the walls. Bathroom was well equipped and a nice hot shower. Excellent wi-fi. Spotless throughout. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of fare. Elvira was multilingual and was an expert on the local area. The ‘breakfast lady’ was lovely and pleasant. Rates very reasonable.

Stayed one night, good location in center of old town. Clean room, water pressure a bit low, bed a little hard to our liking but fine for an overnight. Walking distance to train station, restaurants. Local bus to valley of temples.|No included breakfast but easy breakfast in nearby pastry shops.|Owner buzzed us in remotely when we arrived.
