The 16 Best Hotels in Scotland

"A prized spot on the beautiful bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, this quintessential Scottish property is precisely the wild, romantic tangle of towers, turrets, and castellations you would wish it to be. Cameron House's notable previous guests have included Winston Churchill and Barack Obama, and yet the hotel remains delightfully unpretentious. Rooms are a lovely sight to behold, with beds so high I almost needed a running jump to reach, and draped in all manner of tactile decadence—velvet Bonn headboards, plump pillows embroidered with thistle motifs, and tartan blankets. There are plenty of trad pursuits to blow away the cobwebs with, from fishing and country walks to spa treatments and two golf courses. Follow them up with afternoon tea in the gloriously golden lobby bar, or go the stiff option at the tartan-clad Great Scots’ Bar, home to over 300 whiskies. This is a spot where the whole crew can bed down too—wee ones are well catered for with dedicated menus (even for afternoon tea), pools and water slides in the onsite leisure center, plus a magical fairy trail to follow and gifted teddy bears to take home. —Lauren Burvill" - Steve King

Cameron House

"A five-star resort at the southern end of the glorious Loch Lomond, a stay here is a stay of total immersion. First there’s the outdoor activities on offer—from paddle boarding on the loch to mountain biking in the surrounding forest to golf. Next there’s the indoor activities in the Cameron Leisure Club—two pools, a gym, sauna, and steam room. Then there’s the eating activities—six restaurants to choose from including the indulgent Cameron Grill—it does what it says on the cover—and high end Tamburrini & Wishart. Cameron House is dreamy, in part for its location and breath-taking views and in part for its blend of baronial grandeur and modern luxury. Reopened after a devastating fire in 2021 it’s got independent lodges popular with families away from the main 17th century mansion and numerous fine rooms within that auld house. Two elegant lounges around the main reception hold deep velvet sofas, and the décor is all original or recreated oak panelling, intricate cornicing, 19th century fireplaces and granite flagstones. There’s a fabulous art deco bar, dripping chandeliers, and gold chinoiserie wallpaper by Timorous Beasties. It’s like London’s Ritz in the Scottish Highlands. Then there are the bedrooms. Trendy grey-style palette, colorful headboards and cushions and thick throws. Generous, reassuringly expensive bathrooms have Carrara marble sinks and cast-iron bathtubs. Massive double beds are warm and inviting. And don’t worry if you’re missing the city too much—Glasgow’s George Square is just 35 minutes away. Perfect."

My wife and I spent part of our honeymoon here and couldn’t have had a better experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was absolutely phenomenal and the grounds were amazing. We had the best time relaxing here while also walking quite a bit enjoying the many trails. We didn’t realize before coming how much was a short distance away and loved barely having to use our car. The spa was also amazing and a perfect day away. We loved Cameron House and would sincerely recommend going. Thank you for a great experience in Scotland.

Our recent ladies' weekend at Cameron House was nothing short of spectacular. This resort boasts incredible facilities, but what truly sets it apart is the exceptional staff. We had the pleasure of dining at all the resort's diverse restaurants and bars, each offering a unique and delightful experience. However, the breakfast was a particular highlight. Unlike many hotels where breakfast can be a chaotic affair, Cameron House delivered an outstanding experience. The buffets are abundant and of the highest quality, and the made-to-order options were equally impressive. The service was impeccable, making it clear that this is a well-oiled and efficient operation. Our rooms were spacious and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the moment we arrived until our departure, every interaction with the staff – from concierge to check-in to housekeeping, guest relations, and all dining areas – were exceptional. Their warmth and professionalism are truly unparalleled. And let's not forget the breathtaking beauty of Loch Lomond! We absolutely loved our time at Cameron House. Highly recommend!

This was the highlight of our stay in Scotland. An excellent place for families, couples, or a solo retreat. The grounds are expensive and beautiful with many different things to explore. The Service was incredible from the valets, front desk personnel, concierge, and all other staff! You truly feel like a special guest at all points of your stay. For our kids, the pool was the highlight, but they also loved the Enchanted Forest and the castle playground!

Spent an amazing week in Lodge 19. Lodge was spotless with every kitchen appliance you could wish for. |The high ceiling in lounge/kitchen/dining area meant it felt cold in the morning however the electric heaters quickly warmed the area. You are billed for your electricity consumption after your stay and our bill was less than £30 for the week. |Lovely balcony area with table and chairs and also smaller comfy seats at other side of balcony.||Appreciated the bag of essential items - tea towels, washing up liquid and bin bags. ||The weekly quiz in The Tavern (within the hotel) is good fun on a Thursday evening.||We also had a lovely boat trip on the Celtic Warrior.||In summary, a lovely relaxing stay - hopefully the sun will shine when we return next year!

Review: Cameron House – Summer 2025 ★★☆☆☆ The setting is undeniably beautiful – Loch Lomond at its best. But sadly, the experience didn’t live up to the promise. Despite branding itself as a luxury destination, the hotel felt more like a stretched conference resort with 300+ rooms and a service culture that couldn’t keep up. Reception was staffed with visibly overwhelmed students, our luggage took over two hours to arrive, and we had to change rooms twice due to defects. Even the basics failed: we couldn’t charge anything to the room – not in the spa, not in the restaurant. Everything had to be paid for on the spot. At checkout, we were even charged double until the mistake was (reluctantly) corrected. For £550 per night, this simply isn’t acceptable. You expect trained staff, functioning systems, and service matching the image the hotel projects. Instead, it felt like a corporate shell trading on its name, cutting back where it matters most – in people. Cameron House looks five-star, but acts like a bad Travelodge. That contrast is what makes it so disappointing.

Was really looking forward to my stay at this beautiful place. The location is indeed gorgeous. Can’t say the same about the service. I had two rooms and had housekeeping issues with both the rooms. Doors being left unlocked, windows being left open and allowing bugs to come in to the room, not having cleaned the room even by 5pm despite hanging the sign on the door. When I complained to the Manager they apologized and said my family and I could have dinner on them at the restaurant. They never explained to me that what they meant was they would cover only food and not the drinks. So I ended up paying for drinks at a restaurant k had no intentions of visiting. I will definitely not be coming back to this hotel nor recommend it to my friends. There are probably hotels with much better service in this beautiful area

We had a balcony room with a gorgeous view of the loch and the room itself was very roomy and comfortable. The breakfasts were outstanding and they were easily able to accommodate my celiac husband. The staff gave us outstanding recommendations for where to eat, how to get to the trains for where we wanted to go. This is a full service resort with a giant indoor pool (great for families). Great Scot bar is also beautiful. We loved everything about our stay and will recommend this beautiful resort to everyone traveling to beautiful Scotland.

Stunning. Beautiful beyond belief. Tremendous property, tremendous staff. Came for a 3 day stay -- stayed 6. A beautiful place that we will be back to many times. Dining was absolutely amazing. I recommend a room in the Castle. Hey, Obama stayed here so it can't be too bad, right? Cheers.

Yelp
It's only receiving a three because the suite we have is phenomenal (#11) and the front desk, including concierge is good. now the (really) bad: this is the first virtuoso listed hotel that I would never return to. It's clearly in chaos and decline and that's also supported by talking to long term workers and their frustration the past few years. They need a Gordon Ramsay of hotel management to straighten out many of their obvious problems. the winners: events lodge residents dog owners the losers: traditional 5 star residents A few examples: we arrive after a 5 Hour Dr. around check-in time. Not only was there a huge line and back up to check in, a large marriage party literally did their procession through the front, holding things up at least another 30 minutes. Staff indicated they didn't even know anything about it and they were embarrassed.. then our room was delayed, and as we waited, there was literally a three-way dogfight... Now that's some real ambience right after watching another one scoot his butt across a velour chair. couldn't get dinner reservations... Matter-of-fact we could only get them three days later in advance. Clearly putting the traditional resident last again.. I've seen better local facilities at a two star Marriott. I will say the remote Spa, where the other golf course is more in alignment with a five star, virtuoso listed property( HOWEVER, yep they charge you for it, EXTRA unless you have a spa service. The suite status gets you nothing (except airport transfers) The bars are ridiculous. Literally the largest bar I've seen in the UK, this long stainless steel looking bar... We sat there for 15 minutes as barbacks/bartenders walked in front of us. finally, I ask how can we get service... They said we need to ask a waitress that would then service at the bar. they may as well put big signs on top of the bar, saying no service here! the other bars, although in theory would come up to you, some of the slowest service I've encountered. . In essence for over £1k/night, best case you can wait upto 45 minutes for takeout dinner from the bar (no bags or trays provided) or worse case jump in your car and drive to nearby village. Maybe they now make their profits off of events and an equivalent Chuck E. Cheese and Disney World environment... that's OK, more power to them, but they need to lose their rankings appropriately.

Yelp
Stunning views and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking. First impressions are that you are about to stay at the most amazing 5 Star property. However, don't let the looks fool you! That's where the 5 Stars end abruptly. We booked the Christmas package in one of their luxury suites plus an additional night for a cost of $6000!! We were expecting gourmet dining and a luxury 5 Star service experience. We were severely mistaken. When we first walked into our room we thought it was gorgeous, it even had a Christmas tree and we were blown away. Now I will say the bed was extremely comfortable but the delight ended there. Despite our numerous requests, our bed linens were not changed once during our stay. The pillowcases did not fit the pillows and we had to fold the pillow in half to sleep on a pillowcase. Gross!! Our toiletries were not refreshed at all during the stay. We were left with none. Again, we asked numerous times. The shower only had 1 temperature scalding which was never fixed, despite us asking the front desk and calling maintenance. I had to wash my hair over the bath. The television in the room didn't work properly, it had about 4 channels that worked and when we tried to stream our own content it played in a different suite, again despite numerous requests they didn't ever attempt to fix this. Maybe this all sounds nit-picky but keep in mind we were spending thousands of dollars for a luxurious Christmas experience. Then the "divine gastronomic experience for all foodies" was cold bland buffet food in pots for breakfast, not the sit-down reservation gourmet breakfasts we were led to believe we would experience and had booked reservations for 2 months in advance. Those didn't exist. The "Seafood" restaurant had zero seafood available. In fact, the majority of the menu was not available and the options were limited, to begin with. The food and the customer service were so shockingly bad at Cameron Grill that we ended up walking or taking a taxi to Balloch to eat at the local restaurants for the rest of our stay, (despite our meals being included in our package) If you want stunning views, terrible food, and even worse customer service for high $$$$ then this is your spot. However, we will never go back!

Yelp
This place has a lot of wow factor about it. From the very start the hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful located near a golf course and on a lake. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. It has a lot to offer from the multiple delicious restaurants and leisure area which included a pool/jacuzzi needless to say we very much enjoyed our stay! The hotel staff were absolutly wonderful and accomadating. I would reccommend this place to my friends and my family! Great Stay.

Yelp
Fabulous hotel on the shores of Loch Lomond. It has all the grandeur of the past and is located in a 300 year old mansion. Stay in the main building if you can to experience the luxury of the past. Not a cheap hotel to stay at so expect to pay a lot more than a normal hotel or lodge. They have an excellent leisure centre next to the hotel and you get to use it during your stay. There is also the Carrick Golf course nearby and there are special rates for hotel guests. There is also a hotel spa nearby. The Great Scots bar is an excellent bar in the hotel and the Cameron Grill is also a nice restaurant. Again none of these are cheap. I would happily come here and spend a few days roaming the area and enjoying the luxury of the hotel and its surrounds.

Yelp
Simply stunning! After a fantastic day out at The Carrick Spa, Lucy B and I headed here for a nice glass of wine to end a perfect day. What can I say, the place is gorgeous and despite only experiencing the bar......whoa!, what a bar!! The Great Scots Bar is a tribute to many great Scotsmen (and women) past and present with lovely large pictures decorating the room and big comfortable chairs and sofas with views across the Loch. With our large glasses of wine, came not one but two trays of nibbles at no extra charge and a chance to take in the splendour of this fabulous hotel. You don't have to go to the expense of a room or a meal here to enjoy the beauty - just come for a drink!! Prices seem no more expensive than other mainstream hotels so it won't cost you an arm and a leg.....unless you hit the whisky bar that is.....!!

Yelp
Stayed at the Carrick Lodges, part of Cameron House, as part of a civilised hen weekend - 16 people between 2 lodges. The accommodation is fantastic - extremely well-equipped, ample space for everyone and very comfortable. The spa, included in the price, was also very well appointed. We booked before going across which was advisable, as the staff were very quick to jump on our cases about that. Several people in our party had spa treatments and the rest of us hung out in the many saunas and pools. The outdoor infinity pool on the top deck (which is not so much an infinity pool as just a hot tub on the roof) was fantastic after dark. Lots of fun. A few of us used the pool at the main hotel which was adequate - not amazing, just OK. The slide was closed off which was one of the main reasons we went up there (in our own car), so a bit disappointing. Also there were lots of families there with small kids, no problem but the changing room absolutely REEKED of poo and was a bit dirty. On the negative side, the staff are very disorganised. On check out, we were presented with a bill for several hundred pounds for all sorts of services and meals that we simply hadn't had. The staff were extremely rude to the organiser of our party and caused quite a bit of distress at the end of our relaxing 3 night stay. It turned out they had failed to charge the previous occupants of our lodges and then slapped the bill on us. Needless to say, we declined their kind offer to pay that! One of our party burned their swimming costume on an underwater light in the hydrotherapy pool which burned all the way through the fabric. This seemed pretty unsafe to us! They did offer her a spa day pass for 2 in compensation though. Overall, we were really pleased and at £90 each for a 3 night stay and spa usage, it was great value, even with the electricity on top (which was nowhere near £50 a day even for 2 lodges, as has been suggested elsewhere). Just the disorganised staff with no concept of customer service lets the place down.

Yelp
Cameron House has to be one of Scotland's most famous hotels and it isn't hard to see why. This gorgeous hotel is set upon the bonnie bonnie banks of Loch Lomond surrounded by some of Scotland's most beautiful scenery. All the rooms and suites available are timeless as they blend Scottish tradition with more contemporary elements. Every room has amazing monsoon showers which you won't ever want to get out of even when your hands go really really wrinkly! There are also huge TVs and ipod docking stations, luxurious complimentary toiletries and huge dark wood beds with Egyptian cotton sheets and cosy tartan blankets. The suites also include separate seating areas, stunning views and a romantic free standing bath conveniently situated right beside the four poster bed, wink wink. There are 4 completely different dining rooms to eat in at Cameron House as well as 2 bars and you really will struggle to decide which area to eat in. There is everything from elegant fine dinning in the Boathouse to more traditional pub grub in the Claret Jug (fancy and expensive pub grub mind!). No matter which dining area you choose you won't be disappointed! I am not a golfer but The Carrick golf course at Cameron House is world famous and I imagine playing amongst such beautiful scenery would be great for anyone who enjoys a round of golf. In fact why don't you men go for a round of golf and us ladies shall spend the day in the world class Carrick Spa at the hotel? The Carrick Spa is absolutely exceptional. I have never been to a hotel located spa which has anywhere near as much to offer as this one. There is a roof top pool, Vishi showers beds, Rasul mud chambers, Infrared saunas, a Tepidarium, an aromatherapy steam room, a hamman steam room, a gym, tai chi , pilates and yoga classes, a hairdressers, a makeup studio, a cafe: the list goes on and on! The staff I came across in all areas of the hotel were extremely polite, friendly and attentive and I can not recommend Cameron House Hotel highly enough.

Yelp
I stopped here for one night on my travels further north. I have to say, it was very enjoyable. The building is a mixture of the old house with relatively sensitively done modern extensions. The fixtures, fittings and decor were excellent, good quality stuff and tastefully done - very 'Scottish highland lodge' type style, and feels welcoming and comfortable, if maybe a little 'masculine'. Staff were polite and helpful and I didn't really need for anything whilst staying there. Dining wise, the fine dining restaurant wasn't open the night I was there.... which I thought was a real shame and let the hotel down a bit... Instead I ate in the other restaurant ("The Grill" I think) onsite which I was informed was 'just as good'. I would say it was ok - the food was quite good, and the service good enough for the type of restaurant, though it was fairly uninspiring - both the menu and the execution of the dishes. I had a lobster bisque to start which was again 'ok' and a rare filet steak for the main - which was cooked correectly, though not as smokey as I would have expected from a 'Grill'. My room was very comfortable and clean with all facilities and amenities you'd expect from a 4-5 star hotel. The decor was nice and the bed really comfy - slept really well. The pool, (turkish) sauna and jacuzzi were all a nice welcome the following morning, and a quick game of snooker in the games room rounded off a relaxed start to my day. There is also a gym here which is also complimentary for guests, so if you're into this kind of thing then you'll find lots to do in the hotel before you venture out to the local area. My favourite part of the stay was the whiskey bar... spent the remaining parts of the evening after Dinner trying a few of the 200+ whiskeys on offer with guidance from the friendly barman and a another visiting Scot - found a couple of new and interesting whiskeys for my collection and tried my best to get through most of what was on offer... well, I didn't get that far to be fair :-) I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a luxury stay somewhere near Loch Lomond. A place you can have a romantic weekend, or even a break with the kids.

Valliant H.

Yelp
This place is gorgeous! The views are amazing and when you drive up you feel like you are stepping into a 5 star hotel. But you soon realize that this place is WAY understaffed! No one at the concierge desk-ever! The rooms were beautiful and well decorated. The bed are comfortable and the pillows are nice. But.... both days our room wasn't cleaned until 3pm and that was after I called down (keep in mind I had to call 4 different lines and finally got someone in room service to answer). Starting at 7am the cleaning crews, and all their equipment are lining the halls until about 5pm. You should never see a wet mop laying in the floor or the trolley of shampoos/towels in a 5 star hotel. They do not offer turn down service or room service after 10:30pm. For this price I expect my bed to be turned down, lights on, water next to the bed.... We went down to the Great Scots bar and waited for 20 minutes for anyone to even walk by to take our order (we were sitting at the bar). Then it took an hour to get our bill!!! It was 10pm at night and the bar was empty. They are so understaffed!!!! Breakfast is also a joke. It is a beautiful buffet with lots of variety and it is included in the room stay which is nice but they lay notes outside your room door saying that if you want breakfast you need to be there before 9am because it's too crowded after that time. I'm on vacation why do I have to rush anywhere? The dining room is crowded, loud and chaotic. The juice bar has a row of help yourself juice jugs but all the spigots are broken and you have to wait for someone to come pour you a drink. There is juice all over the floor. We had several activities booked but the activity desk could not find any of the bookings. They cancelled the sea plane, the seqways and had the time wrong on the boat tour. For $900 a night I expect better service. But if you don't care about service this place is beautiful!!

Yelp
This has to be one of the most stunning locations in Scotland! I have never actually stayed in the hotel itself but have been down to check in the Scotland team for a flight and it looked amazing! I have however been in the spa called The Carrick! My best friend took me for my 21st and we had full use off all the facilities all day as long as we liked and also a massage at the end! They have a medium sized infinity pool on the roof looking over the golf course and loch lomand itself and as we went on one of the few nice days in January it was perfect! There was snow everywhere!the majority of the rooms such as sauna and pool etc have full length glass windows so you always get a great view! The staff were very helpful and friendly and we were also given complimentary water and apples whenever we wanted! If you have the money to treat yourself I would highly recommend it it's worth the money! It really makes u heart Scotland!

Yelp
Three star for the service for housekeeping. They don't clean the room good enough. Didn't empty my trash can for 3 days and I saw hair on the bathroom floor everyday after the room was cleaned. I almost came to the conclusion it's how they clean the rooms in this hotel. Minus one star for the Loch Lomond grill restaurant. 18 of us had to wait for one hour before we got any drinks. The servers at dinner time were mostly very young college if not high school students and they had no idea about drinks or customer service. After an hour wait and we asked them where our drinks were then hey even tried to ARGUE with us what we ordered. So it took us more than three hour to get a set menu three-course meal and half of the time was spent waiting and trying to tell them what drinks we ordered. Good property though. Front desk service was very good.

Yelp
The gold course is stellar. The room was really fantastic. This place is great for families. At times The Cameron House feels really fancy, but also caters to family with the large pool and activities. For a couple without kids I think there are more appropriate places. For a group with a big budget that loves golf, this is a great place.

Yelp
Back again at ttthe Boathousee for another round of nothing special food and well below par service . I'm all for leisurely lunches but how does four hours in total grab you? We were in a group of around 14 and I didn't hear a single person actually compliment their meal much more than "that was......nice" Service was amateurish and haphazard - the last coffees had been served and it was forty minutes before we managed to get the bill paid and leave. If I had the choice I definitely wouldn't be back.

Yelp
From the moment I discovered the Cameron House Hotel while planning a trip to Scotland, I knew I had to stay there. And it was everything I'd hoped it would be, and then some. Come on--what's NOT to love about a secluded castle on Loch Lomond? I still remember when we drove up the winding driveway and the front of the Cameron House came into view from behind a row of trees. It was like something straight out of a movie, and yeah, I know there's probably a stereotype in there somewhere (American tourist going to Scotland and staying in a castle on a famous loch...) but our stay there was perfect. Yes, it's very expensive. Our room was around £250 (US$400) a night, and it was one of the "entry level" rooms, but I'll tell you what--I'm a firm believer in the "you get what you pay for" school of thinking, and that was totally the case here. If you're looking for something economical, then this is not the place for you. If, however, you don't mind spending a little money in order to have an awesome experience, then you need to check this place out. The entire place is furnished tastefully (not a big surprise, for the amount of money it costs to stay there) but every corner of the place begs to have a photo taken of it. There are several lounge-type rooms to hang out in, and I love the low-key atmosphere and dim lighting, like a very prestigious club. The staff are all very professional and attentive. We showed up very early, before normal check-in time, but they did their best to accomodate us and had our room ready before normal check-in time. (You know it's a high-class place when they tell you your room will be ready early, in about 15 minutes, and invite you to take a walk around the grounds, and offer to call you on your cell phone--an international call--just to let you know your room is ready.) Our room was flat-out awesome. Great furniture, good selection of current travel magazines on the coffee table to browse, comfy bed, huge flat-screen TV, plush carpet, killer bathroom with all the amenities (including a heated towel rack)...we were in heaven. The gym and the pool were both excellent, as well. Actually there were two indoor pools, a nice jacuzzi, and a pretty elaborate waterslide. Not just a straight slide, one of the ones you'd see in a waterpark. Very cool. Don't expect any Coke machines at the end of the hall in this place...but you can buy snacks from the bar area (Even though I'm not a bar type of guy, we went in there to get a couple of sodas to take back to the room, and wow...just like everything else, it was very posh). We had breakfast as part of our package, and it was carried in by two solemn (but friendly and courteous) servers--tea, toast, several kinds of expensive jam, omelets, fresh fruit, muesli...absolutely unparalleled. The next time we go back to Scotland, we're staying here again. If you are willing to spend a little money, it is a GREAT, secluded place to unwind, with several restaurants on site, a spa, and countless activities to choose from.

Yelp
We started out a little rocky but once Andy Roger heard that our room was too far for us to walk to, he made sure we got better accommodations. The room was a suite and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We had a wonderful dinner and Andy bought us a bottle of champagne to have with dinner. The grounds surrounding the hotel were magnificent. I would definetly recommend staying here.

Yelp
My family and I stayed at Cameron House during a trip to Scotland. It is a beautiful resort and spa with a nice bar a great pool and an excellent gym. I think the Cameron House is a great place for those who are taking a rest from the hustle and bustle of the city but for those first time visitors to Scotland, I don't think I would highly recommend it. Some of the challenges were the distance from downtown Glasgow and the fact that the rooms are very dark, there is very little lighting and the walls are a slate grey. Maybe it is just the style but I found it very hard to read or see what was going on. Cameron House is a wonderful hotel but just not sure if I would head back.

Yelp
Upon first observation you think your staying at a five star resort. Beautiful grounds, renovated rooms and a very opulent setting. Then you start noticing some very interesting things. First, it seems like management decided to bring on a bunch of local teens as it's primary staff as a cost cutting measure. They thought they could train these teens as professionals, but this experiment will be the complete undoing of a sizable investment. I will say that dinner at the boathouse was delightful with wonderful food. The monkfish was fantastic. Breakfast the following morning was perhaps the worst breakfast experience of my life. We had a long wait to be seated, although the restaurant wasn't all that crowded. We ordered toast that never came. And then we waited. I finally got up and literally tracked down my teen server to place our order. Then the real wait began. I decided to leave the table and check out. There was quite a long line and only one teen working the front desk. When I finally finished, I figured my eggs benedict would be cold. No. Not even at the table. The staff seemed more interested in cleaning up for lunch. Now I'm getting pissed! I seek out the manager and start giving her a piece of my mind. Then come to find out that our order was never placed. She said they were having printing issues. Anyway, this place could learn a lot from the management of Gleneagles. As they say in Texas, this place is all hat, and no cattle!

Yelp
Great location but disappointing service given that it is supposed to be a 5 star hotel.

Yelp
I have recently stayed in the lodges at cameron house and it was gorgeous but the rest of the complex let it down, the service in the dining rooms was rubbish, you can clearly tell they have unhappy staff. The leisure center situated within the hotel is in need of some repair, tiles falling off, the seat in the steam room was just about to fall off. i felt that this was really disappointing especially since this is meant to a luxury experience.

Yelp
5 stars? Best Hotel in UK? Come on. Customer service, pre and post sales are a joke. Best hope no one kicks the bucket in your family before your stay or you will be out of money too.
